mypilot says "FitFlops are super comfortable-but dark color rubs off on feet:(" about FitFlops

FItFlops are the first flip flops that I have ever worn on a regular basis. They are the most comfortable shoes that I have other than my tennis shoes. They look classy and yet they are casual. Downside is that the black and brown colors rub off on my feet the bottom of my feet and also between my toes where the shoes fit. I imagine that the lighter colors won't have that problem.
...

These don't do a thing for your legs. And they're ugly as sin. But quite comfy. If you're looking for a shoe that makes you work, probably better to save your money for some MBT's, which are pretty hideous too.
...

I had been dying to try these sandals! When I went to order they only came in whole sizes, I normally wear a 9.5 but I just ordered a 9. When I tryed then on the sole part fit perfect but the strap part was enormous. The part that connects the toe to the shoe is an inch too big; there is no way that I could wear them. I tired to wear them in the house however they felt so uncomfortable (like my foot was flopping all over the place.)
...

dixiechick123 says "still not sure about whether these Fitflops are a hit or a flop" about FitFlops

I have had my Fitflops for 3 days now, and wearing them all over the house, to work, etc. But they just don't feel quite right. I don't know if they take some time to get used to, or if I am anatomically defunct. lol

The strap over the top of the foot doesn't sit where it is supposed to. I never thought my feet were that "thick" but maybe they are. The strap is too tight, so I can't get my toes all the way to the end where they should be, and my heel is falling off the back edge of the shoe. The length actually seems a bit too long but I know if I went any smaller I wouldn't even be able to get my foot into them because of the strap! The "thong" part that goes between your toes isn't in the right place, and they feel like they are too loose.

They are very difficult to wear while driving, and very dangerous to wear on stairs! Is it just me? I want to love them (after all, I can't believe I spent $40 on a pair of flops!).....but not sure if I am going to keep them...
...

I have three pairs of summer FitFlops and one pair of winter FitFlop clogs. These are the best shoes I've ever worn. Now that there is a winter and summer version I can wear my FitFlops year round. I have sciatica and these FitFlops really help ease the pain. They cushion your feet while you walk. Everyone needs a pair of these. I bought mine at Macy's (and yes, I was able to use a Macy's coupon), but you can also buy them online. Check out the FitFlop website to find where you can buy a pair in your area. The website is: thefitflop.com...

anmartin1806 says "No Difference" about FitFlops

This flip flop is supposed to be a new type of sandal that is "engineered with a safety tapered varying density midsolde that creates a micro wobbleboard workout in every step". These flip flop sandals are supposed to be powerful leg exercisers that work the thighs and calves as you go about your normal walking. I disagree, and feel like this product was a new way to get Americans to spend more money on useless stuff so they can think they are exercising. I did buy a pair because I wanted to see if they actually work and I really like flip flops. The fitflops are comfortable but I don't think they are worth the price. At first it does take a few days to get used to them because they do feel different but then they are very comfortable. I feel like I can get the same results by wearing my regular flip flops. If the price was reduced I might recommend them to a friend. I also agree with others, although I like the way they look I do feel they could come out with a different style...

I can tell that I would love these flops if only the straps had just an ounce of give.

They do not and it makes it real difficult for my foot to stay where it is supposed to be

good walking!
...

These were a bit pricey for me but I am certainly glad I made this purchase. I would recommend them to anyone looking for comfort. My sister also purchased a pair, however she has short toes and they hurt her between her toes. I have bad feet and every flip flop I purchased prior no matter how lightweight and comfortable eventually hurt my feet. But not the fit flip and I did lots of walking in it. My feet felt fine. As far as it toning your legs I think this is just pure marketing and is overated. I don't think this would actually tone your legs. I purchased these from footsmart.com. My sister got them elsewhere either Victoria's Secret or Macy's and she got a free shipping deal, however they were sold out on the color she wanted! ...

Fizzbit says "Comfortable, fun to wear, and quick visible results." about FitFlops

I love the Fitflop shoes.

I'm no health specialist or dietician or hardcore dieter/exerciser, but the sales pitch for the shoes was hard to resist. So I plopped down the $50 for them as soon as they became available at my local Bath and Body Works and started walking.

First of all, I did notice that the gait while walking with them felt strange. It almost felt like how your legs feel when trying to walk or run through sand, only without the slowing of speed.

A couple weeks later I got a puppy and he decided to try to chew on them. The left shoe is a bit gnawed up and looks like it's ready to fall apart but these shoes are very durable! The puppy chewed on them 7 months ago and they're still going!

After about a month I did start to notice that my lower legs were toning up just a tad. Like I said, I'm no exerciser or anything like that, but I wore these to go to the store, around the university campus, that sort of thing. I'd get an easy hour or two walking time out of them. Lately I've been......

I bought the shoes looking for a comfortable, but positive effect, pair of shoes. I like the feel of the shoes, and I don't have any trouble walking in them as the saleclerk warned. I don't feel like I'm working much harder to walk in the shoes, and each time I've worn them, I've had lower-back pain. In addition to looking a little clunky (though my 13 yo niece loved them), I'm not sure they are worth the $50 price tag....

froggy9733 says "where have these been all my life?" about FitFlops

I have been eyeballing these for a long while. Finally my mom broke down and bought me a pair (got tired of hearing me say - gee I would love to buy a pair one day). So she bought me a silver pair. I was a bit worried, because I typically wear an 8 1/2 or 9 but read that I should downsize. I went to an 8 and they were a bit tight. I wore them around the house and within a few hours they were fit to my foot. They are very comfy. I can see me buying myself some more (or mom) real soon. I live in Florida so these are a necessity all year round. I hate the flat flip flops these fitflops are great. My sister is also going to buy me a pair since she couldn't say fitflops ten times without tying her tonge and I could say it more than 20 (when you want something bad enough it's amazing what you can do). Try saying fitflops 20 times without messing up- go ahead! :D Hard isn't it. Now go buy a few pairs.......

Very comfortable. Sturdy and sporty design. No disadvantages of regular flips flops. No lower back, knee, or hip pain after walking 9 miles in one afternoon. Worked out calves more than regular walking. My core feels a slight difference too. Not sure if my core would feel anything if I had only walked 1 mile, though.

They don't sit on your foot in the same place as regular flip flops- which take a little to get used to- but no big deal. A bit of blistering on the top of my foot (that happens with all new flip flops though).

Some people say that they are a bit pricey but I disagree. If you purchase $9 flips flops, they are going to feel like $9 flip flops. If you are the type of person that wear flips flops all summer, you defintely should purchase FitFlops.
...
