We really liked the Fisher PRice OCean WOnders Aquarium Cradle Swing. we didn't use it a tonne, but it was lovely to have.

We liked that it could swing side to side or back and forth. The side to side option on a low speed made it really gentle on a small baby. It was also great that there were two recline options on it, again for smaller babies or if they are dozing to sleep it kept their head from swinging if fully reclined. We were also quite impressed with the music, quite nice sounds the the volumes were reasonable. Some baby items are just WAY too loud, but this wasn't which was nice. She really liked the fish lighting up and moving around, a great distraction, she still likes watching fish, maybe related?!

Two slight issues. One, with a large baby you realize that the weight limit isn't very high at all! She outgrew it fairly early. Two, where the globe that lights up and the fish mobile are located, you can definitely accidentally bang baby's head on the way out. Not a pretty sight...

This swing has been wonderful, but it sucks through batteries like CRAZY! I love the way the "cradle" curves to fit the baby. The aquarium feature broke but doesn't really take away from the swing itself.

My mom bought us the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders swing as a shower gift. It was not the swing I had registered for, but we loved it. We had registered for a pretty swing that would blend in better with our living room, but now I realize that would not have been very interesting for baby.

My baby loved to swing side-to-side. I could put him in this swing at naptime, and he would fall asleep on his own and sleep for 2 hours! This is a blessing with an infant! He never learned to like swinging front to back. The light up aquarium was interesting enough to calm him those nights when we couldn't get him back to sleep. During the day, he liked to watch the fish rotate.

Pros:

Easy to adjust (lay down, sit up, swing direction)

Easy to clean

Great white noise option (we preferred over music)

Continues to swing until turned off

Lights up option at night

Swings side-to-side

Cons:

Battery operated.

I have used the ocean wonders swing with my 2 kids, my daughter use to sleep the night there, she liked the side to side motion, and my new baby likes the front and back motion, he sleeps there for quite a while, he loves looking at the fishes and hes only 5 weeks! Best swing !

Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing is terrific. It has a 2 position seat that also reclines and rotates 90 degrees to rock side to side. This will simulate movement of a cradle for a newborn. This swing also sits upright and can move back and forth to be just like a true baby swing. this swing has an amazing 6 different speeds assuring that one will be just perfect for your fussy baby. If speed along isn't enough for you it also plays 8 different songs and has 3 very calming and relaxing ocean sounds. The volume is also adjustable. This swing also has an overhead ball w/ sea creatures and flashing lights to catch your babies attention. this also has a mobile overhead for visual stimulation. this model also has a very nice seat cushion and head support and both are machine washable. This model does it all though it can be a bit expensive. But considering all it does it is worth the price. This does require 4 D sized batteries and can go through batteries quite quickly.

WOW- yep, that's my rating :)

I received this incredible baby swing from thoughtful co-workers and it's amazing! It is a bright blue color, aquatic inspired patterns made of easy to clean, soft and comfortable material. It can swing vertically or horizontally, which is nice if your baby prefers a "cradle" motion rather than a "swing" motion.

Both my babies were instantly fascinated at the sparkling lights overhead, the brightly colored mobile that circled above their heads; they'd try to "catch" the elusive soft material fish.

Even as a newborn, they'd watch intently, fascinated by the jeweled fish that swirled in their aquarium of glitter over their heads.

You as the parent choose if you want music, soother sounds or just the quiet movement of the swing. You can also have just the mobile going overhead, or just the aquarium lights...you get the idea --lots of options to choose from

It has an adjustable chair that allows for sitting or sleeping- this becomes really handy as your child...

The Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing was the cutest, most "boy-like" swing in Babies R Us when my husband and I registered for my baby shower. I loved the bold colors, the lights and music. Thank heavens we had it assembled and ready to go when our little bundle of joy arrived. In the hospital, my son was an angel. When we got home... "WAH!" Yeah, yeah, that's what all babies do. As a new mom, I over-hovered. After a few days of no sleep, I learned my lesson. In came the Cradle Swing.

Seriously, this saved my life. I was on the verge of freaking out, wondering if I would ever get some rest again. And then I put him in the swing. Instantly, he was calm yet alert, watching the mobile, content. I learned quickly that I could catnap right in front of it, resetting the mobile if it stopped (which was really the only bad thing, it only went on for 7 minutes at a time). We used the swing all the time. Recommend!!!!!

I loved the Ocean Wonders Swing. My son did very well in it. My only issue is that the motor went out on it. When I contacted Fisher Price they offered to send a replacement for $35 plus $5 shipping. Since this is an "older" model they are no longer offering free replacement of the motors.

First and foremost, I will start off by saying HALLELUJAH!!!! My son loved this swing from day one. It was very nice to have, and he was able to be in it until he was 5 months old. He was/is a very big boy so wasn't able to stay in it much longer. He would try to roll out of it. But that's what the harness and tray are for! My son slept in this almost every single night for 5 months.. he loved it that much : ) The only thing I wish was different would be that I wish it had the option of plugging it into an outlet. I had to change the batteries every single day :( Luckily, they were rechargable batteries. That could be another reason why I had to change them so much, and also it was 2 years old by the time I used it (it was my Aunt's who passed it down to me after having her son 2 years prior). But anyways, this is one of those "must have" items, and something that does not go down in value!

We bought this product back in 2006 after the birth of my first granddaughter, Claire. Claire was a colicky, reflux baby who for four months cried continuously if she was awake. The only time she slept soundly and quietly was when she was swing side to side in her Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Swing!! It was such a lifesaver that I bought a second one to keep at the babysitter's house because it was the only thing that soothed her. This was used so much that I had to buy rechargeable batteries and a battery charger because we were constantly swinging! She was a small, pixie child and she enjoyed her swing up until she was about a year old. She is 3 years old now and still only weighs 25 pounds. My second granddaughter was born in February of this year and we still had Claire's baby swing that we brought out of the attic. Emma was a much happier baby but still had reflux. She would not lie down in her crib at night to sleep but she would sleep in her Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium...

I loved this swing I used it for 2 of my 4 children plus numerous daycare children the I never had a problem with it and my son slept in it for 4 months ALL though the night. the batteries died quickly because of being used so often the should come up with an ability to plug it in.

The Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium swing is wonderful! My son loved the side to side rocking instead of the forward and backward but the swing does both. He also loved the lights, sounds and mobile. The fish mobil was very colorful and kept his attention. The lighted globe with fish was great at night to get him to sleep. Wonderful investment but had to constantly invest in batteries. It takes 4 D batteries and goes through them quickly. I originally bought a whinnie the pooh swing but he hated the forward and backward motion. From the second I put him in this swing he was content and went to sleep easily. I finally had to put it away when he got big enough to tip it over.

This swing is also very portable. The legs come off and we were easily able to take the swing with us where ever we went. It was a great place to let him sleep when we went to other houses. I would recomend this swing.

so my son and daughter both used this swing. My daughter could give or take it. But my son loved it. The Fisher Price swing with the fish on the mobile is so cute. I love how they spin around capturing the kids attention. I also liked how you could choose whether they were going to listen to music, the sound of the ocean, or the sound of a stream. As soon as the music would start and the lights would come on, my son would calm down. It was a great spot for him to take a nap because he suffered from acid reflux so we couldn't lay him down. The swing was perfect for him. I was sad when he got so big that he outgrew it. But I have lent it to all of my friends for their children. We have gone through a lot of batteries with this swing. I also like how the swing could move in both directions too. Mostly my son liked to swing from side to side rather than forward to backward. that way he could see alot more.
