This fun and dreamy Papasan Cradle Swing moves front to back and side to side, and has a comfy, nest-like two-position seat. The Fisher-Price Starlight mobile features three plush stars that float up and down and rotate. The overhead dome projects a starlight show above baby and onto the surrounding sheer canopy. Both relaxing and entertaining, this adorable periwinkle Starlight Papasan Cradle Swing is sure to delight baby. love this swing so much. I received it yesterday and put it together very easily in about 20 mins (the canopy does come pretty wrinkled so I did iron it on low and it came out great). There are some purple details but overall it is perfectly fine for a boy or girl and I am very picky. I am so glad I didnt let the bad reviews about the color stop me from buying it. It just seems so comfy and cozy, and the light show is just magical. No other swings compare to the style and class of this one. Cant wait for my baby boy to enjoy it soon.
...

The Fisher Price Starlight Papasan Cradle swing was by far the best purchase we made for our daughter. She loves it! We bought it when she was about 2 weeks old and she is still using it now at 8 months old. We didn't even have to get her a crib until she was about 4 months old because she slept in this swing. I love that it rocks forward and back and also in a cradling side to side motion. There are 4 different sound selections, 2 for play and 2 for sleep and volume control. The star light display is very pretty and it has a removable canopy. I really can not think of anything bad to say about this swing. It is very durable, it has been used every day for the last 8 months and we have had no problems. The seat cover is removable and is machine washable, very helpful for diapers that may leak overnight. It folds up for easy storage although we use it so much we have never needed to use that feature. The pink and brown pattern is beautiful for a baby girl. Oh, and it is electric or battery...
...

I picked the Fisher Price Starlight Papasan Cradle Swing because of the plug in option and competitive price. The first thing I noticed is that it's not periwinkle, it's more of a lavender and has a girly feel which ticked off my husband, since it is for our son. The six speeds aren't realistic- it's all one speed and that speed is rather fast. It has six settings, but when I click through them, I just can't tell the difference in the speeds! The lights are fun, and seem to captivate my baby. The mobile is a bit boring, and the music gets really annoying for my husband and I, however it does have a volume control which is awesome. The swing seems comfortable for my baby, and he is able to nap in it which is nice. The position it holds my baby in, for some strange reason, leads to a massive blowout nearly every time (and the only blowouts he's ever had have been in the swing)- but thankfully, the swing pad is washable.
...

I just had my third baby, and time is something i just do not have anymore. When I purchased the fisher price starlight papason cradle swing some of the features that attracted me to this swing was the 2 way swing option, 6 speeds, 16 songs, projetion lighting, moble, and toy bar. this swing also cradles my baby and gives lock in support. When I brought this swing home I also realized it was battery, and electricly charged. The unfourtunate thing with this swing it that within two months the swings motor started to die, so no matter what was you decide to use your swing it will not work properly. the swinging motion stopped, along with the light projection. Before the motor started to give out, this was what I thought was the greatest investment I could have made. this was a place I could let my baby hang out while I was running after my other two children. This was not the case. I am extreamly disappointed, and if I had to do it again I would try to by the same swing,...
...

The fisher price papasan cradle swing is fabulous, with my 2 kids I had different swings. One a travel which has its benefits and 1 a regular upright swing. This I purchased for my granddaughter and it is wonderful. First the color is nice and neutral so is great for boys or girls, shades of blue, cream and periwinkle. It is nicely padded so it cradles your newborn. Has a removal tray which you dont need as a newborn but will certainly when they are older and more active. It has soothing songs and sounds for sleepytime and more fun and active songs for playtime. It has pretty netting that surrounds the baby and when you turn on the lights dancing stars go all over the netting. The mobile is hanging stars and a bear and this rotates as well. The best thing about this swing is you dont need batteries! It plugs in, saves a ton of money on batteries. I was forever putting in 4 new D batteries, talk about expensive. I highly recommend this swing, easy to put together, easy and affordable to...
...

the starlight papasan cradle swing by fisher price is an awesome swing that has made it through 2 kids now and always manages to settle them down or put them to sleep. the lightes stars are very nice and i like that you can remove the netting if you need too. i also like that with just the push of a button the swing can change from swinging front to back to side to side or vice versa. the speeds are great but i wish the first speed went a little slower for the newborns becuase i felt that it moved just a little too fast but if you laid a blanket on top or a toy with soem weight on the side, that usually slowed it down enough which gave me more control on the speed. the songs are also nice with a rain forest selection that my kids like the best. the headpiece is also movable so that the seat grows with your child and it also had a toy tray that your child can hold on to to make him or her feel more secure. the only thing i dont like is the slight creeking that it maked sort of like old playground...
...

I absolutely love this swing so much - that its the second one we have bought. I had the natures touch with my first child and she stayed in it till she was 8 or 9 months. We would feed her in it and she also took naps. Of course once the second child arrived the 1st one would keep stopping the swing (while it was turned on) and of course the motor died. You can buy new motors through fisher price but once i started looking at swing again i saw they had ones that now plug into the wall. I must say that is fantastic - we went through about 4 D batteries a week with our first swing - so not having to buy those anymore sounded definately worth it! My baby loves this swing she watches the little mobile go around which always puts her to sleep! Also it projects images on to the fabric around the chair - i call it her lil disco ball chair! I definately recommend this swing to anyone...worth the money.
...

The starlight papasan swing by fisher price is the only thing standing in the way of me completely losing my mind. Everybody who has ever had a baby knows that it is hard and exhausting to take care of a newborn baby. Now if add my other two very active children you get a house that, at times, seems like a zoo. This swing has helped so much. My son loves it he sleeps in it most of the time. There are a lot of good infant swings out there, but this one is the best that I have seen so far. Most swings dont recline very much and baby is sitting uprught and the baby leans to the sides because he cant hold his head up yet. The Starlight papasan swing reclines so the baby is almost lying down flat, and it makes it more comfortable. This swing has a mobile above it and lightshow of stars and moons. It also plays music and nature sounds. This is a cradle swing that can be set to rock side to side, or front and back, so baby can swing whichever way he likes. I have found that the side to side......

We got this swing before my daughter was born and she loved it. We did have a problem with the motor, it would just stop working. It plugs into the wall so you don't have to constantly buy batteries. We are now going to use this swing for our son that is due in September. I used a Graco swing when I was having problems with the motor, and I was constantly having to buy batteries....

I love, love , love this swing! Oh, and I think my daughter does too! We put her in this since birth and she took to it right away. At first she was so tiny that the seat belt took up her entire body but it still soothed her to sleep. The music and sounds on this swing are wonderful. It plays an upbeat daytime music and then a more relaxing nightime lullaby music. Then you also have the option of both types of music with daytime and night time nature sounds or just nature sounds. The swing also features a beautiful butterfly dislplay that has a mobile of hanging butterflies and a planitarium type projection display of butterflies. They project onto a beautiful princess like canopy that surrounds the swing. This can easliy be removed when the child gets older and begins to grasp it like mine did. This swing offers two swinging motions, the traditional forward motion and also the cradle motion. We have never needed to buy batteries for this swing because it comes with the extension the plug......

This swing is great in many ways, I love that you can change the direction because it gives baby something new to look at. It is also easy to move around. The chari can be put into two positions so as your child grows, you can tip it down a little further so they are sitting instead of laying. The different music is great because we use it a lot and I don't get sick of hearing the same tune. It also plays other sounds. It has a mirror for baby to look at herself, my baby laughs at herself a lot when she sees her reflection. The music or sounds also stop after a short period of time so it is not constatnly playing music after the baby has fallen asleep and running the batteries out. Even though it is a little more pricey that other swings, it has many more features than most. The only problem I had with it is that when my baby was a newborn, it swung too fast even on the lowest setting. If you let a blanket drag over the edge, it slows it down though....
