The Fischer Price Space Saver High Chair is the perfect high chair for our family. We live in a duplex, so space is at a premuim. This chair is just right for our space, and a really good value.

We registered for this high chair because Baby Bargains ranked it as one of their highest. It proved to be one of the best decisions we made when registering for our baby needs.

This high chair travels with us when we are going to eat at someone elses house, it cleans well, and really fits well in our home. Assembly was simple, and changing the height of the straps takes no time at all.

One of the nicest things this chairs has done for us, is enable our parents (the grandparents) to not have to buy a high chair for their homes...or us to buy it for them. Since we are able to take the high chair off the chair it sits on at home, we are able to bring it with us to the grandparents. We are able to have an appropriate seat for her when we are at someone else's house, and it saves us and...
...

mariposa767 says "Great high chair! Easy to use, move around, and clean!" about Fisher-Price Space Saver High Chair

After looking at all of the highchairs in the stores, I spotted this one and thought it was a great idea for a chair. I really don't have a lot of extra space in my home, and with this highchair being one that just goes on top of a regular chair, it worked out great for us. Our 9 month old doesn't have any trouble fitting into the chair and can be at the dinner table with my husband and I. She is content to just play with toys or eat from her fresh food feeder while sitting in the chair. I feel that she is safe because she is well strapped into the high chair and I can walk away from her for a few moments without worrying that she will get into anything.

The chair can be raised or lowered to fit different heights/sizes of children, so we can adjust it as our daughter grows. It has fabric that is very easy to clean. It is compact, so it has been easy to take it places with us (i.e. Thanksgiving dinner at the grandparent's house). This chair has been a very good one for us. ...
...

I've seen many high chairs in my life. I've been a nanny, an aunt, and now a mother. Fisher Price has made feeding my children so much easier! The Space Saver High Chair fits on just about any dining room chair. My oldest is two years old and therefore dinner time is crazy. We also live in a basement apartment at the time so finding the space for a high chair can be a tricky task. I love how the Space Saver allows my family to all eat at the table together. My youngest (2 months) loves watching her older sister eat. Now instead of crazy meal times we can all see each other and enjoy our dinner time together. The Space Saver not only saves space, but it reclines for easy feeding of infants or toddlers. It has a safety harness as well as a high built in piece that separates each leg. It assures that the child won't slip down too far. The Space Saver can also be used as a booster seat by taking off the tray. Dinner wouldn't be dinner without the Fisher Price Space...
...

Just before my first son was born, I had about $50 in store credit at Target from returning various items from my baby shower. I was looking around the baby section, trying to find something to buy. When I stumbled upon the Fisher Price Space Saver high chair, I was hooked. Not only was it in my budget (I believe it was $49.99 at the time) but it fit all my requirements for a high chair.

Because it hooks onto a regular kitchen chair with two sets of straps (one behind and one underneath), it doesn't take up any additional floor space in the dining room. We live in a smaller home, so floor space is at a premium. The tray is removable with one hand and dishwasher safe. The seat itself is covered with a slick "fabric" that easily wipes clean and refuses to stain. There are adjustable safety straps to keep your little daredevil safely in his or her seat. The seat also reclines, should you feel the need to feed your infant who is too small to sit upright.

We have taken the seat...
...

High Chairs are often one of the largest baby equipments every new mom and/or dad needs to purchase. For our first child, we had the typical large stand alone high chair and I cannot tell you how often we were stubbing our toes on it, because our dining & kitchen area is so small. It was a joyous day when we were able to put it away.

For our second child, we bought the Fischer Price Space Saver High Chair- for the sole purpose of not having the large high chair in our way. We bough the Space Saver from Target and were at first a little alarmed by the fact that it is less than half the cost of a full size high chair. We brought it home and were immediately impressed. First, it was easy to put together and attach to our kitchen chair. Secondly, even though our baby was only a few weeks old at the time, we were able to use it immediately. The back of the chair reclines signficantly so we were able to lay our newborn in it (with the safety harness straps on). It was great to...
...

I would give this 8 out of 10 stars. My Mother has this at her house and it is perfect for Grandparents or for small spaces. I loved using it for its convenience. It is very practical and easy to clean. However it wobbled a bit depending on the chair it was on and the tray was difficult to remove.

It is a great quality chair and I would reccomend it. My sons therapist actually recomends its use for children that have eating issues or developmental delays because of its high weight limit and ability to be used as a booster. So depending on what your needs/size of eating area and your childs needs are this might work very well for you.
...

I love love love this chair!! I have gone through two "regular" highchairs and finally saw this one when a friend of mine got one for her child. I love so many thing's about it! It slides up the table so we don't have a bulky highchair always underfoot. I also like that the padding is very easy to clean - it wipes down with no fuss since it's not fabric and it was also be taken off quite easily and thrown in the washing machine. In fact I even put mine int eh dryer and have not has an issue. We move it around just like a regular highchair so my son can sit where he wants. Also, when we have a party it comes undone very easily - just a snap at he bottom and one on the back. Don't get me wrong though - the chiar is very well secured - my son has tried and tried to get out of it and it barley budges from the chair bottom. All in all I'm thrilled with my purchase and would recommend it to a friend!
...

We love the Fisher Price space saver high chair! Our daughter feels like such a big girl to be able to sit at the table with us. The tray removes for table-eating and attaches for 'high-chair' eating. The only downside is that since it attaches to the table chair, it does not roll or move very easily around the house. Our daughter loves this chair and has from 4 months on up!
...

I love this high chair. It had been 7 years between pregnancy but the space issue had never left. Although our current home is much bigger then our first I just remember not wanting to have to manuver around a high chair or figure out where to put it or move chairs around to accommidate one agian. After searching I decided on this one. It was a GREAT investment. My son started using once he could hold his head up. The 3 point positioner is very helpful for the younger age. It cleans up great and sits right at the table with all of us so he always felt apart of dinner time. Now that he's 2 1/2 we can remove the tray when we need to and he can sit right at the dinner table. That's right, it can be used as a booster seat too! So you really get your monies worth out of this high chair. We loved it so much that my parents bought one as well for their house. So not only do you get your monies worth but it's very affordable and worth every penny!
...

This seat is a great concept, and I think when they make some improvements with the second and third models it will be fantastic. It is very light weight and easy to clip to the chair, and I even have one of those chairs with armrests that goes all the way around so I was almost worried it would not fit. The straps are a little difficult to get on and off, but not so much that it makes much of a difference. The company says not to machine wash the cover, but I do it once in a while and have not had any issues. My only problem is that if something gets underneath the seat, you have to not only clean it out but leave the cover off for a while or it gets moldy very easily. I am a huge clean freak so this bothered me quite a bit when I had to clean out mold every week. I think the reason is because the cover is not very breathable. The design is nice, but I wish they had other options when I purchased it. It doesn't look tacky if you take the whole thing off though, and in fact you are supposed...
...

When completing my baby registry before the birth of my son, my husband and I looked at a lot of high chairs. We immediately fell in love with the Fisher Price Space Saver High Chair. It's first perk? It fits onto any regular dining chair, meaning we didn't have to find a separate place for it in our kitchen or dining room. Secondly, it's price is definitely right. Priced at around $50 (at our store), it was $50 cheaper than the next available option. Saving space and money? What could be better! The back comes off allowing the chair to "grow" to a booster when your child is ready, and the tray can be washed in the dishwasher. All in all, a great buy!
...

This product met our needs for a space-saving high chair and booster chair. It is well-made, practical, easy to use and efficient.we started using this when my son was about 4 months old and has been in it for a solid three years since for about 2 meals in it twice a day. It is exactly what we needed. It fits our regular chairs, reclines in multiple positions and has a one handed removable, dishawasher-safe tray and a water-resistent, wipeable cushion that is also removable to machine wash. after three years of use, the chair still looks and works like new. it is big enough to fit my son who is now 56 pounds comfortably. we loved it so much we bought one for my sister when she was pregnant and she also uses it every day for her now two year old daughter. i am very pleased with the fisher price space saving high chair and couldnt imagine having a 'traditional' highchair in my house. i will buy this for the next baby shower i get invited to.
...

We live in a small townhouse, so when we found out we were having a baby, we were a little nervous about fitting all of the stuff a baby needs into our little home. I was thrilled when I found the Fisher Price Spacesaver high chair. It's so handy, and doesn't take up any extra space. You basically strap it to a dining room chair, and there you go. It reclines for younger babies just learning to eat solids, and then transitions into a more upright position for when the baby can sit up straighter. It comes with a dishwasher safe tray that's easy to attach. The fabric cover for the chair is pretty easy to remove and easy to wash. It's durable as well--we've used it for both our now 3 year old son and his younger brother who is now 8 months old. It's held up really well. The chair also converts to a booster seat as you child grows older, so it's versatile too. I can't remember exactly what we paid for it, but I know it was cheaper than traditional high chairs. I would...
...
