I have two FP Space-saver highchairs for each of my children. I have a 1 and 2 year old and they fit great in the chair. It is made if sturdy plastic that sets right on top of a normal kitchen dining chair. It has an easy cleaning vinyl cover that pops off for the occasional hose down. (we all know you want to do that) It is easy to secure in place and I always know that my kids will be safe. The tray is so easy to clean and has two compartments for sippy or snack cups. This seat reclines for infants and has a couple levels to bring your child higher to the table as they grow. I recommend it to anyone who is short on space.
...

blasekfamily says "Space Saver High Chair and Booster is fantastic" about Fisher-Price Space Saver High Chair

I had a booster high chair for my daughter when we lived in an apartment 3 years ago and loved it. We didn't have a lot of room so we loved being able to add her booster to a regular chair and take it away when having company.

We finally bought a house when expecting our second child. I got rid of the booster because I was so excited to have space in my kitchen for a "real highchair"....but man was i wrong! It was a pain to clean, the tray didnt fit well in the dishwasher, and took up a large corner in my kitchen!

I sold my highchair and rebought the Fisher Price Space Saver High Chair and Booster. It straps safely to a regular kitchen chair. It has a 5 point harness to safely hold the child in it as well. There is a three-point reclining system for baby to toddler....and it holds a kid up to 50 lbs!

It has a plastic removable seat cover that is easy to wipe clean and a spacious tray for plenty of finger foods. I would definetly recomment this to anyone who wants to get a combination...
...

I purchased a fisher-price space saver high chair when I was expecting our first child. I thought it was a practical way to save space and the price was also affordable. When my son arrived in 2006, when placed in the high chair he was tiny and looked just like a newborn does the first time you put them into a car seat. As you know baby's quickly grow and he did. The high chair adjusted with just one hand and very simple to put together. Then in 2008 we had the arrival of my daughter, I then purchased another fisher-price space saver high chair for her. The high chair fits on a standard dinning room chair and it allows my family to enjoy meals together which is a plus to get them use to the idea of family meals at a young age. The harness system provided an added saftey feature, reassuring with adult supervision they are not going to get out of the chair and fall to the floor. When my daughter turned one and all you parents with children know the cake goes everywhere. ...
...

I was givin this "space saving" high chair as a gift for my first child. It is cute and i like that you can just sit it on the floor if you wanted to while feeding. I used it at the park for her first birthday. So yes the chair is small enough to take to various places for use. It has many reclining positions for newborn to infant. You can also remove the back and it turns into a booster seat. Has many purposes. Easy to clean. Has a five and or three point harness. But I don't think it really saves space at all. It is big and bulky. So big it might as well have the legs to. Doesn't fit well at my kitchen table. Has to have the tray off to fit under the table so then you just have a tray laying around instead of on the chair itself. I like the seat but I don't think that the name should be Space Saver. It really doesn't add any more space to my house. Should fold and be lightweight. That would save space.
...

When I had my first baby I bought a regular highchair. It took up so much space in my tiny 2 bedroom apartment. When my son turned 2 I had to go out and by a seperate booster seat for him since he was getting to big for the high chair.

When I had my second baby I was thrilled to find the Fisherprice Space Saver. It fit perfectly on my dining room chair which was great because even though my new baby was too little to be eating with us, it still felt like he was included at the table.

It has a vinal cover that can easily be taken off and cleaned and easily reclines when baby wants his bottle. It has two thick straps, one around the back of the chair and the other goes underneath so no matter how much baby kicks and shakes, its not going anywhere. It also has a 5 point harness for added security.

One my son was around 18 months I was able to take the high back section off the seat and the cover and use it as a booster seat! A great two in one combo! I have since used it for my third...
...

I got this high chair for my son but now my daughter is using it. I really like it alot. I like the three adjustable positions, it was easy to use when my son was smaller and had a hard time sitting up on his own for long periods of time. The space saver high chair from Fischer Price really does save space. I like that it sat on one of the chairs and was not sitting out in the way all of the time. It is also easy to take the cover and straps off to wash them which is important to me. It was also less then fifty dollars so very economical.
...

When researching high chairs before the birth of our first baby, I came across the Fisher Price Space Saver high chair. It almost seemed to good to be true - a full-feature high chair, a low price tag, a space-saver, and convenient enough to take along when we go to grandma's house! Wow!

We started using this chair when our little guy was between 4 and 5 months old. Since it reclines nicely, it was the perfect spot to offer his first cereal feedings. As he grew, the chair adjusted to fit him just right.

He's now 16 months old, and we're still loving this chair! For meals, we can slide on the tray. For sitting at the table to eat a snack or color/use playdough, we can remove the tray and slide the high chair right up tot he table.

I love the vinyl seat covering; it's easy to wipe clean! It's easy to take off the seat cover to quickly remove the crumbs from underneath, as well.

It does not have a foot rest like many full-sized high chairs, but I don't miss it! When we've...
...

It has the harness for saftey and it cleans up so well.
eka192003 says "Not as space saving as I would like" about Fisher-Price Space Saver High Chair

I got the Fisher Price Space Saver High Chair when I had my first child in 2006. Since then the design has not changed much. I now have an 8 month old baby that we will use this same high chair for. I recently saw one with a different colored cushion on it but other than that it had all the same features. I thought it would be great since we have a small house to not have an extra piece of furniture sitting around, so I opted for the space saver high chair in lieu of a full size model.

For starters the Space Saver says it has a recline feature on it, however I never found that to be terribly helpful because if it is strapped onto a chair with a back, you really can't recline it anyway. So if that is something that is important to you (it never was for me really) then you may not like this high chair.

When the high chair is strapped onto a regular chair, the chair does not push up to the table as close as other chairs, so it still takes up more space than a regular chair. Granted, I don't...
...

I absolutely LOVE this high chair! It is great to use as a seat for your little infant too. The seat reclines to several different positions depending on your child's age and development level. It is portable so I take it back and forth between the dining room table and the living room floor, as well as when we travel. I have never felt more strongly about a baby item than this and wish everyone could try this chair out!! I wish I had it for my other children!!
...

I have three grandsons and have used a different high chair for each one. I used this one today for the first time with my five month old grandson and I wish I had known about it with the other two boys. It declines just right so his food will go in his mouth but still he is sitting up enough that he doesn't choke. It sits in my kitchen chair and can be removed after the feeding if the kitchen chair is needed. It has a padded seat and back that looks very comfortable. He seemed to enjoy this meal better than any up to date. It wasn't expensive if you pay the full price, but my daughter-in-love found it on sale one day and bought her one and also one for me. She started using hers sooner than I did. I didn't realize it would recline like it does. So he had lunch in his new Fisher-Price high chair and loved it. I didn't use the tray yet but that will be great when he is a little older. I don't know if this chair was available when my other two grandson's were young but I wish we had found...
...

The Fisher Price Space Saver high chair is great! We live in a small house and do not have a lot of room for a full sized high chair. This chair offers so many options! It has 3 height setting and it reclines for smaller babies. The tray fits in the dishwasher so that make clean up easy! The seat cover is vinyl and removable so it easily wipes clean. The straps are easy to secure to any chair and provide a sturdy chair for my child. Also, because the chair has shoulder straps and not just a lap strap, I feel comfortable having my child in the chair without a tray if I need to remove it to clean up a mess or something. It's also nice because I have family that live in another state so when we go visit we can throw this in the car with no problem...very portable! I also like the fact that it can be used as a booster seat when my daughter gets bigger. No need to go buy a separate product!
...

The Fisher Price Space Saver High Chair is the perfect high chair for any aged child. When my daughter was born 4 years ago, this chair was not an option, so I got a regular high chair. It took up a lot of room in our small dinette. When Fisher Price came out with the Space Saver High Chair, I bought it. I put the old large high chair in the basement and attached the Space Saver to one of the kitchen chairs. She was about one at the time and was so happy to be pushed right up to the table like a real part of the family. I loved that the chair was taking up no more space than the chairs we already had in the dinette. Fast foward a few years, my son was born. He is now 6 months old and from birth, practically, we would recline the chair and sit him in it for meals with the family. Now he has started solid foods and he loves to sit in his chair to eat them. Soon, we will sit him more upright and put the tray on (which is dishwasher safe) and give him finger foods.
