This is an awesome swing. We received this as a gift. We LOVE the fact that you don't have to use only batteries. We simply leave it plugged into the wall all the time. I don't have to worry about shelling out tons of money on batteries or having tobuy rechargable ones. My 5 week old son just loves his swing, he didn't care for it in the beginning but now he loves it. We've been using it since he was two weeks old. He's always content watching the mobile and I just love the music features. The fold away mobile is definitely a must have. We're limited on space as well so I the fold up option is fantastic....we love everything about it!!!!

Our firstborn slept in this swing for nearly every nap the first several months of her life. She often woulld stare at the mobile and listening to the music until it lulled her to sleep. Knowing that we could turn the swing on and not need to think about winding it up or batteries dying in the middle of a much-needed nap made this a swing a stand-out when we needed to replace a hand-me-down plug-in swing. When she couldn't fall asleep at night, this swing did the trick, rocking her to sleep for hours before we would move her to her crib. Several things about this swing made it convenient -- in addition to being able to plug it in and not have to constantly replace expensive, large batteries, we could easily change the directions that the swing moved -- even when our daughter was in the chair! Many hours were spent watching the mobile and listening to the sounds of the rainforest in our home!

This is one of the cutest swings ive ever seen! My little guy loves it! Its so nice and very well put together! Only bad side is it also takes up half my living room!!!! But well worth the loss of space!

At first I didn't want to buy this swing, because it is kind of expensive (I think it was $145), but then I put my son in it at a friends house and he loved it. The fact that you can have it swing sideways or back and forth is just great, and that it has multiple speeds. I also has a music option or a white noise "jungle" option with adjustable volume. The mobile also is electronic and my son loves watching the animals move around. All in all, a great product :)

I don't know if I could have gotten ANYTHING done at my house without this swing! My daughter was a light sleeper probably the first 6-8 months of her life, and it was very hard to get her to sleep long without holding her. I didn't know what I was going to do because I couldn't do any housework without waking her up. During the first few months of her life, you could forget doing anything at all for a long period of time because she wanted to be held a lot! This swing was a lifesaver! I could put my daughter in it, strap her in, turn up the speed of the swing, and turn on the music and I could go about my business! I could turn the speed down if she was awake, and just leave the music on, and she would stare at the mobile while I went about my business, I could do housework, take a shower, I could actually leave her laying in it for 30 minutes at a time! It was an incredibly wonderful investment, and held up great, so I will be using it for my next child!

Fisher's Price's Rainforest Open-Top Cradle Swing is great. I got it for my nephew to keep him entertained when no one was able to hold and cradle him every second of the day. He loved the little rainforest animals and loved rocking back and forth. The swing has six different speeds and a number of songs to keep your child's attention. It was perfect throughout the day. When he was awake and needed something to do, we would put it on a higher speed and he would play peek-a-boo with the animals. When it was nap time, we would put it on a lower speed and it would slowing rock him to sleep. It also helped so that he wasn't so attached to us, needing someone to hold all the time. I also loved how easily it was to switch the swing around so that one minute, you could rock front to back, and another minute, you're rocking side to side! The pice was average, not something I would've loved to spend so much on for less than a year's worth of use (he grew out of it!) but it was still worth it in...

Well we registered for a different brand of infant swing! But when it came down to purchasing the swing we choose the Fisher Price Rainforest swing. We really like the features that this swing provided. For one it can be run off both battery and plug-in. ALso we like the bright colors and the parts that hang down for baby to play with were really cute. My husband and I also like that the fisher price rainforest swing can swing in both directions. Our son was in the NICU for almost two weeks and we noticed that they also have this brand of swing.

I have loaned our swing to my cousin who is having triplets and I am sure that it will get alot of use at that house!!! We feel confident that the swing will hold up to the daily use that we had.

My son really like all the different types of music and seemed to be soothed by the nature sounds. The different speed types were very nice they really seem to keep him content!

After being given a different swing for my son (and only keeping it for a month since the batteries were so expensive to keep replacing) I searched for this swing for my daughter because of the ability to plug it in! My 19 month old son loves this swing! at 22 lbs. he is still under the weight limit to use it and loves doing so. My 2 month old daughter also loves this swing!! Fisher Price did I fantastic job with this swing, the fabric on the seat is even so soft and comfy! I would recommend this swing to everyone that is expecting a child. Yes, it may be a little more expensive but well worth it not having to replace the batteries constantly! I wish I would have gotten this same swing when my son was little because he really enjoyed the swinging, but this swing is just so much more practical with the plug in. I have not heard of any other swings that have that which makes the fisher price rainforest collections full size swing unique!! THANKS FISHER PRICE!!

While I was out shopping around for baby items I seen the Fisher Price Rainforsest Cradle swing. I had already purchased the jumperoo so I stuck with the same theme and bought this swing. Not only did it match but I really think it was the best swing I've ever owned.

The rainforest design is too cute! There are bright, colorful animals, cute for boys and grls. The mobile features three stuffed animals and big canopy leaves. As the music is playing the mobile rotates and the leaves cover up the animals like it's playing peek-a-boo. There are six speeds and it can play twelve different styles of music, soothing or playful. The mobile swings in and out for your convience. There is a snack tray and the seat can adjust to two different settings. Of course the seat cushion is removable and can be removed for cleaning.

This is the best swing ever! This was so easy to put together, super easy to clean and the best part my baby LOVED it. It has the cutest music and little characters that spin around (which helps with eye coordination!). I love how this Fisher Price swing can run off batteries or the AC adapter. So no need to spend money on batteries. The swing is quiet while running and there is many of time my baby has fallen asleep in this swing and if you need to turn the swing into the different position it is so simple and I also like how this seat of this swing can recline so your baby can be extra comfortable.

The mobile of this swing also lifts up out of the way when you need to get your baby out of the seat and also the tray lifts up and out of the way. This swing is very sturdy and dependable.

The only Con I can think of is it is a pain to bring it up and down stairs, so it mainly stayed downstairs. But it is possible to carry from room to room!

I would highly recommend this swing to anyone!

The Fisher-Price Rainforest Open-Top Cradle Swing is fantastic! I received this as a gift and have not been disappointed with it. I had the aquarium version for my son, but it did not have the options this one comes with. The mobile can be raised and lowered, so you are not straining to get the baby out without hitting their head. It has an option to plug into the wall so you do not have to worry about the batteries dying and replacing them. I like the fact that we have the option to turn the swing two different ways. The music is nice and you are able to adjust the volume quickly and easily. My baby loves this swing! The fabric is soft, and the colors are bright. The jungle print is adorable as well. It doesn't take up that much space and folds up easily to be stored. Putting it together out of the box when we first got it was not horrible either. What else is there to say? This product is great!

I am writing a review on the Fisher Price Rainforest Swing. I would reccomend this swing to anyone looking for a swing for their baby. My son absolutely loves this swing. I wish I would have had this swing for my other 2 children. The swing has two differnet swing positions. You can either have it swing from side to side or front to back. My baby prefers the side to side. It also has 6 different speeds. It also has where you can either run it off of batteries or plug it into the wall. I love this feature because I am not using a ton of batteries to run it. My last swing sucked the batteries bad and this one I use the adaptor and haven't had to use any batteries. The seat is cloth and comes off so you can wash it in the washing machine. It also plays nice soothing, calming music to calm a fussy baby. My baby always calms down when I put him in the swing. I feel that this swing is definatly worth your money and would recommend it to anyone.

The fisherprice Rainforest swing is so adorable! My son loved it while he was able to stay in it. He is a very long baby so he outgrew it quick, but thats with any swing. It is easy to put together and easy to clean the seat comes right off to be able to put it in the washing machine. It's not too expensive either. Overall a really good swing for the money.

The Rainforest swing really helped put my baby to sleep. It has 4 different sounds to it and you can also adjust the speed of it. Really helps when you need to do something else. You can either plug it in or put batteries in it. Easy fold-up to store away. Doesn't take up a lot of space either.
