I got this toy for my daughter when she was about 8 months old for her first Christmas. It was a great way to teach her about Christmas with a nativity scene that she can play with. The Little People figures are easy for a small child to grasp and move. The people and animals are cute and friendly looking and my daughter loves playing with them. We put one of the angels on the top so all she needs to do is push on the angel to hear the music. As she's gotten older, she learned who all of the individuals included are and knows where the baby, mommy and daddy go. She also engages in more pretend play and has the people and animals talking to each other. It also is a great way to help keep her from wanting to touch our more fragile nativity scene since she has this one in her own room. The bummer is that I couldn't find this in stores and had to go to the Fisher-Price web site to get it. It was a bit more than I want to pay but this is something that I'll keep for...

We own several little people toys, they are a love of our little girls. they are the perfect size for little hands and nice and stirdy for little chewers. We also have put them in the bath for many great bath tub stories and plays. We love the fact that they are christian theme at a great price! We will have save this set for years to display for christmas time even when the children are older. great toy!

very cute, but there are a ton of small peices for the kids to stick in their mouths. i think it's a great way to introduce kids to the true meaning behind christmas though!! fisher price is a brand that i trust and remember my sisters and i playing with when we were small children. i think this play set would be great for children in the 6-12 range. cute set with a ton of meaning!...

The Fisher Price Deluxe Little People Nativity Set is one of DDs absolutely FAVORITE toys. Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the gang are played with all year long! The Little People are adorable, the animals precious and the manger a perfect home for them all!

The Nativity set is worth buying! We also bought the set with the sheperds to have extra animals. The hills and gates all fit together with the Manger and make for a beautiful scene. The Kings are sweet and the Angels are beautiful. The Manger plays Away in the Manger when you pres the button on top or secure one of the characters to the button and press down on them.

Little People are a wondeful toddler/childs toy and I am looking forward to many more sets to build on DDs collections.

My son loves the Little People Nativity. We bought it for him last Christmas as a way to have his own decoration in the house. It's durable and the characters are so cute!

He loves the light up star and the song that plays. We added it to our Little People collection and they all intermingle! Didn't know there were skiiers at the nativity!

We tried to put it away about January and he threw a fit! He loves to play with it and make little scenes. He knows all the character names and can tell part of the Christmas story while playing with it.

The figures are just the right size for little hands and they are colorful enough to keep his attention. This year we intend to buy the "add ons" like the wise men and the inn scene. I have seen it on sale as one big kit and would have preferred to buy it that way, but Wal Mart only had a basic set.

The price is a little high, but for something we've been playing with for a year, I'm not upset!

My only con is that the figures hurt quite a bit when you...

What I like about the Little People Nativity Set

Pieces are sturdy
Set is colorful and fun
Barn plays music and lights up with the touch of a button
Lots of characters for imaginative play

What would make the Little People Nativity Set even better:

I'd like to see the barn enlarged and hinged so that all of the characters can be placed inside for easier storage.
The price is a bit high to me ($30+).
I actually prefer wind-up toys that play music to save money on batteries, but wind-ups aren't always kid-friendly.

Fisher Price Deluxe Little People Nativity is an excellent way to teach children about the Lord and how his only son Jesus came to be. It is also safe for young children to play with. It helps the child learn about the different attributes that Jesus brought into the world. They are able to learn something early on that most people dont learn about until they are older. Learning about Christ at a young age will help them understand the stories better by the time they are older and have children of their own to tell the stories too. I had a Fisher Price Nativity set when I was little and I loved it with all my heart. I learned from the story the figures portrade. It is a excellent toy for young children....

This toy is very good for any age up to about 4 years old. My one year old enjoys playing with the pieces, while my 2 1/2 year old likes to push the cart around and play the music from the top of the nativity. This is probably the best nativity toy for very young children....

My daughter and her playmates loved to play with the Fisher Price Deluxe Little People Nativity. I read to them the story of Jesus birth out of the Bible in the book of Luke and then they would act it out. Hours of entertainment! They wanted us to keep the baby Jesus out of the manger until Christmas morning. It was fun watching them play with the animals as they play out the story they are familiar with....

Fisher Price Deluxe Little People Nativity set has been a family "tradition" for the last couple of years. My children received it 3 Christmases ago and still ask for it when we start getting Christmas decorations out. My kids are now 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 and still love this set.

This has really been a set that the kids have loved and will probably love for holidays to come.
