When my husband recently decided to treat me to a washing machine to replace our twenty year old Maytag I decided to do a lot of online research prior to making that purchase. We have had several disappointing experiences with American made appliances over thepast ten year or so, and I wanted to avoid another repair hog! We were familiar woth the Fisher Paykel brand because of our travels to Europe, where that particular brand is very well know for innovation and durability. The F P inntuitive clothes washer is a perfect fit for my easy going laundray day style. With a push of the selection button It makes all of the fabric care decisions for me. And it uses a rain shower wash technology that requires extremely low amounts of water, which is very important in drought prone Southern California. My clothes come out very clean, even large items like heavy blankets and comforters. Now I just hope it lasts for 20 years or so.

My Fisher-Paykel is only 9 months old....still under warranty. The repairman says the motor 'froze' and motors have been on backorder for about 6 weeks.....My ex- in-laws are already tired of letting me do laundry at their house......guess I'd better stock up on quarters!

On a positive note, I do like the way it works when it's working!

I paid more for this washer because it was so energy effecient. I haven't been disappointed. It took a bit getting used to the "jet engine" sound while spinning, but it has greatly reduced my drying time. I have no complaints about this washer.

I love the fisher paykel top loadf washing machine I have. I've had mine for about 5 years now w/no trouble.Washing great,saves water,rings out wonderfully.Great at getting clothes really clean.Very easy to use,has a delay button so you can pre program for when you want washing to start...

This machine does do what it says, conserves water, extra fast spin(clothes are practically dry when done) cleans well , quiet. However it forever on the fritz, leaks all the time, expensive to replace parts, parts never in stock. I spent over $700 for this machine and regret every penny of it. My advice steer clear of this brand...

Fisher and Paykel washer...was great until it stopped working 2years and two months old...out of warrenty...repair bill is about 300.00...think I will just buy a kenmore and call it a day...

After much research we decided to get a front loader. Figured we'd bite the bullet, but when we walked into the Sears Outlet store and saw this Fisher & Paykel i fell in love just with the look, not to mention the price and the features.

This washing machine is about as close to a front loader as you can get without the price tag nor the special detergent. I love the features, the delicate cycle is truly delicate and the heavy duty really puts some "elbow grease" into the cycle.

One of my favorite features is the Time Save option on the wash. This way, the wash is done in less time, but with same excellent results as a normal cycle. The size of the machine allows me to wash blankets, about 3 sets of sheets or a comforter quite easily at home. This last task has been nearly impossible to do when we had a regular top loader.

The spin cycle is truly worth the price alone. it spins much of the water out and that way the clothes spend way less time in the dryer than they would otherwise. we......

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Fisher and Paykel washing machine. It is very easy to use with customizable controls to ensure your clothes get the level of clean they need. I love that it weighs the clothes so no water is wasted (love saving money on the water bill!) and the spin cycle gets clothes almost dry (especially fleece and towels). It also is very large and able to hold plenty of towels or other bulky items (even has a heavy duty wash setting!)....

fisher and parkel isn't a great washer machine. it eat my clothes and towel. i wouldn't recommend this washer machine to anyone. the company isn't very nice i had called fishe r and parkel about my new 2 washer machine that its eating up my clothes and towel they didn't beleive me at all. there customer service isn't very nice they hang up the phone on me..

This is a great and inexpensive item. It has a large wash bun for lots of clothes. Many different settings to choose from also. I would really like to have a front load washer because I am short and it is hard to get all the clothes out sometimes. Other than that it is a great buy and it shouldn't disapoint you.

I have had my washer for 6 months and I love it. The settings are very easy to follow and great choices and energy saving. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in Fisher Paykel products. The warrenty is also good on this product. You can get great information from the Fisher Paykel website. Directions are easy to follow and you can set the amount of water you want to use. Auto setting which senses the amount of clothes you have in the load is an energy efficient savings to the consumer....

We bought this a couple of years ago and have had great results. We appreciate the Energy Star value. It uses very little water. I prefer the top load style, so this is a great compromise. Energy efficient but traditional style. (ie. not front loading) It takes a long time to do a load, but it spins so much water out of it that you can shorten the drying time (saving money and energy again, so it's really a plus in the end)....
