Family Guy is a survivor in the world of animation; Seth Macfarlane's quirky little show has survived four cancellations and is probably one of the funniest shows on FOX. There is a huge amount of critics that say it's garbage and prurient trash; I say it makes me laugh and that is all that matters. Cashing in on every pop culture reference from the beginning of the 70's whether it be music, movies, tv shows, The SImpsons paved the way for this outlandish series with possibly one of the dorkiest dads on the planet Peter Griffin. There have been two spinoffs The Cleveland Show and American Dad, which itself has slipped the axe of cancellation a few times. The mind of Macfarlane is so full of obscure references but so dead on target with criticisms of our celebrity mindset that no matter how dirty the refeences we have to laugh. Quagmire is the ultimate sleazeball that Larry, Jack Tripper's friend in Three's Company, could only hope to sink to such levels of absolute depravity. ...

I love Family Guy, everythinga bout the show is funny. It is like the new Simpsons but funnier and has a lot of great/useful info that is politically true but is portrayed in a different way. This is not a show for kids but I started watching it when I was 11 or 12.

Family Guy Has become the best show that I have watched on tv. Besides its Hilarious comedy, the instances of the jokes or scenes are genious and very thought through. Though it may be adult humor, The wit in it is great and has obviously taken lots of skill. I love this show and will always watch it and support it.

Family Guy is one of the funniest cartoons ever. Its not afraid to make fun of aything which is what true comedy is all about. The characters all have a purpose in the show noone is just there to be there.

The Show is about a loveable oaf named Peter Griffin and his family, wife-Lois, daughter-Meg, sons-Stewie and Chris, and the family dog Brian. And the day to day life that he leads. In addition to his family Peter has day to day interactions with his best friends; Quagmire, a sex obsessed pervert. Cleveland, the token black man. And Joe a handicapped super macho man.

The show's topics are ulimited taking shots and making jokes about any and everything that you can think of. One of the most appealing parts of the show are irrelevant cut aways during the show. These cut aways have nothing to do with the plot of the show but they are one of the most hilarious parts to the show.

All in all if you are a person who doesn't mind opening their minds and doesn't take things...

There is not one day that goes by that i don't hear someone either talk about or quote from Family Guy. There is never a real life plot going on but come on who really cares, comedy is comedy and doesn't always have to have a reason. The stuff said on this show is so ridiculous hilarious and never gets old. Yes, it takes the right personality to find this show in good taste but you can't watch this show without at least chuckling. Stewie is freakin awesome and love his smart *** ways and persistant attitude. I wish that there were more new episodes more frequently because my dvr is packed full of all the episodes. At work were bring up an episode honestly at least once an hour. When we need a quick pick me up with pull some clips up on our iphones via you tube and go crazy until the tears are rolling. People you need to give this show a chance it you have never seen it. This show is a great escape to the real world.

this is a great movie. Its got the comedy alright. not one of those that you watch once and stores dust. I personally watch it everytime i wanna get some laughs in. Family guy episodes are great. they should make more into movies like this one.

I LOVE FAMILY GUY! This incredible animated comedy keeps me rolling with laughter EVERY time I watch it. Creator Seth McFarlane is a comedic genius and does something with the show that few others are willing to do...push the limits and crack on anyone or anything, disregarding being politically correct and beaing afraid to be sued for slander from some big-headed celebrity.

A LOT of people are deeply offended by this show because it can be so controversial, but that's also what makes it so much fun to watch. Even I have been occassionally shocked by some of the contect, but that is also part of the reason that I love to keep tuning in. I can't wait to see how far they'll go with the next episode.

Yes, this show can be deeply offensive. Even though it is animated, it is definitely not meant for children or even some adolescents without parental supervision. Knowing that Seth McFarlane is the richest animator in the world right now? Well he's obviously doing something right!

I am a big fan of this show and have been for several years now. I firmly believe that the obscure pop-culture jokes and sick, twisted humor make the show really stand apart from the rest. It picks up where the Simpsons left off in their early seasons (before they started to go down hill) and takes unique humor to a whole new level. While not recommended for children and those who are exceptionally sensitive to crude humor and gags that are not always "politially correct," Family Guy continues to be a must see addtion to the comedy lover's itinerary....

The family guy has an On again Off again relationship with my TV. They created 2 and a half seasons from 1999-2002 and then it was canceled. I was upset because I really liked the show. Then I found the DVD set and bought it for my husband... shortly there after I heard that due to the great success of the DVD sales they were bringing the family guy back to the air! Now you can catch it on FOX on Sunday's, as well as almost daily on the Cartoon Network and TBS.

For who?
This is definitely an adult show. It's Fox friendly meaning there's nothing to keep it off prime time tv, but it is still pretty out there in topics. So remember that just because it is a cartoon doesn't mean it's for kids. You also have to understand that it is not for those who get offended. There are many stereotypical characters and jokes and full stories that would probably offend someone who was PC. I am not at all PC when it comes to this stuff (or anything actually), it's all in good fun and it pokes fun at the...

Years ago I was not a fan of Family Guy. It was not until Fox brought it back in 2005 that I really started watching it. Come to find out it originally started airing in January of 1999. But fox cancelled it in February of 2002. I am not sure what the deal was. I know that in 2005 they caught my attention. I am now a lifelong fan....

We were watching Family Guy on October 5 about 9:30pm (sunday)

I love the family guy show, we have been watching since it first came on and I think it is funny but on that paticular episode.

The name Jesus was mentioned inappropriately. The name was mentioned over and over as if it meant nothing.

You call the show "The family guy",not every family says the name of Jesus lightly.

some readers may say, "Oh here they go, who cares" I'll tell you who cares:

Decent families who get enough of television with, cursing, sex.

I'm a leave you with this. "Is there not one writer or producer in this world that cares about the kids anymore?
