The movie Fireproof was enjoyable and refreshing. It was a religious based movie, meant to help couples work through the tough times that marriage can bring. My husband and I had never watched a religiously based movie before, but we both enjoyed the movie and it's message. A strong marriage has become something of a novelty in America. Divorce is more prevalent in todays' society. This movie encourages couples to take the time and effort to try everything possible before going to the extremes of divorce. It was a very heartfelt movie with some good sound advice. It got both my husband and I thinking. It doesn't have many known actors in it, but that didn't seem to take away from the message it was sending out. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is struggling in their marriage and is looking for help and not sure where to turn. A lot of couples don't feel comfortable going to marrige counseling, so this might be a good alternative. There is a website that goes along with the...

Fireproof is a wonderful Christian movie that all married couples and even dating couples should see. It depicts the truths of married life and how God ishould be our foundation for marriage. I really enjoyed this movie! If you are interested in a similar movie, you should see Facing the Giants!

We missed seeing "Fireproof" when it was in the theaters so were anxious to view it when it came out on DVD. Many friends had told us how good it was. We were not aware of the impact this movie would have on us. My husband and I have a very good, solid marriage but it was so easy to see how small missteps could lead you into major mistakes. This movie is excellent for any couple to view and should probably be required of any couple contemplating marriage.

As I struggled to keep my tears from being too distracting in the last part of the movie, my macho husband turned to me with tears in his eyes. We just started passing the kleenex's. Never has a movie had this great effect on both of us. we've discussed it for months afterwards and have purchased the DVD so that we can view it again and to also share with others. There are so many great messages that it gives and certainly gets you thinking and reassessing your life and relationships. It's great and I would recommend it on that level...

Absolutely dreadful. I'm a substitute teacher and this was the movie the teacher left for the kids to watch.The unfortunate first class was the only one I made watch it. The other classes got to watch something else.

My husband and I saw this movie advertised on TV and we were getting ready to have a movie night. My hubbay said, what do you want to go see, and we both said, "FIREPROOF" at the same time. We loaded up my 7 yr old and took him with us. We cried, laughed, and praised the Lord with the miricles that He can do. We decided that we are going to get remarried. My son loved it. It was a life changing movie. We also decided that as soon as it came out on video we would buy it. When it came out, my daughter saw that we had it and she said she wanted to watch it. My 7 yr old who goes with us said, it's a good movie, but they sure do fight a lot in the beginning! I was so shocked and so was my husband that he was actually paying attention! The movie was soooo good, we ended up buying the book and the love dare book. This movie will change your life. It will open your eyes and make you look at your spouse in a different manner! If it doesn't, then your relationship is sure...

Fireproof was a very great movie. This movie every couple should see. I bought the movie after we saw it in the theather. We don't usually purchase movies for ourselves, it was that good. We learned a lot from the movie also. This movie was a good clean movie. There was no nudity or foul langauge like nearly every movie these days are. It was a movie that the whole family can watch, though just due to the subject of the movie I don't think we would let our young kids watch it, but it's okay for teens.

I first watched the movie at our church and we first ate then we all went into the church to watch the movie I had my two kids 9 and 6 and they were the only ones. They were so quite during the movie everyone could not belive, after watching the movie my kids always talk about it about never leave your partner and other parts in the movie, It is very realigions moivie. a movie for the whole family to watch over and over. If you have friends or family members going thru divorce get them this movie, it is very good, they will learn from this movie. It is just awasome!!

I dont like to watch movies anymore becuase so many of the newer ones have unappropriate material. Fireproof was nice to watch because it was all reality without the PG-13 material. I recommend it to others.. especailly to couples and people who are thinking about marriage.

Fireproof is an excellent film. Many people want to be married. They reach a point when they say it just is not working. They need a guide to help them know how to make it work. I have never seen a movie with such healing power for marriage. I can feel the healing power of God as soon as the opening credits roll. Every married couple should watch this film. I love Fireproof and I hope to see more from Sherwood ministries....

This is a powerful movie. They do not make enough family movies like this anymore!! I believe the teachings and conflicts that are in this movie are a wonderful way for children toi see that life is not just a fairy tail and it takes a lot of hard work to make it through it. Our families are the most important things and we need to start working harder to keep them together, instead of quitting and throwing everything away. Family values is what its all about

I watched with my wife after a big fight. And it helped to think of our relationship in the Lord. It was really well-made movie but, the in the middle, the storyline goes too slow. However, It is not only for Christian or couples. It's fun to watch while helpful in every relationship, especially if you are married and having a hard time.

Fireproof was the best movie I have ever watched in my entire life! I am only 26, but hey, I've still seen plenty of movies!! My husband is a police officer and even though the character in the movie is a firefighter, they go through a lot of the same things and I tell everyone it was as if there was a fly on the wall watching our life and they made a movie about it. My husband and I were having a tough time and my Mom gave me a card w/the picture of the movie from the newspaper along w/a $20 bill and told us to go see it. It did wonders. A movie is far from what's needed to repair us fully, but it was a great start! This movie is for everyone, marriage problems or not...and most of all it has a great message about God.

Fireproof is one of the best movies for couples or families that I've seen for quite some time. I highly recommend it to all. It may not be the most action-packed, or adventurous movie; but it has a wonderful lesson for all. It is intriguing and heart-warming. If you read the book, then watch the movie - it is even better!...

I am a movie lover, just not a fan of the movie theatre. I have to admit that the last time I was in a movie theater was when my husband and I took our kids to see "Jurassic Park"!! Quite a long time, right? I do love movies, just not the price at the box office, the uncomfortable seating, the jerks who talk all the way through the movie, 200 people crammed in to a small dark room, shall I go on? At any rate, I do love movies and have been tempted several times over the years to actually go to the theater, but I always find myself waiting around for the DVD or for it to come on Pay-Per-View.

While "Fireproof" was not one of those movies where I was just dying to see it, it did recieve some pretty good advertisement and just enough snippets of the film to make it seem worth watching. I was less than thrilled after watching it though. First of all, Cameron comes off as a complete and utter jerk for most of the film, while his father comes across as sappy and pretentious. I'm not adverse...
