Evenflo Triumph 5's adjustable knob makes this great! I love this carseat and have purchased 4 so that both of my sons will be comfortable and safe. The adjustable knob on this carseat makes cold mornings and warm afternoons much easier. With the simple twist of the knob you can adjust the straps to fit your child's warm coat or simple t-shirt. Well worth the money & holds up well (we have had ours for 3 1/2 years and it is in great shape, still!)
...

We bought the Evenflo Triumph because we wanted to have one car seat for our son. We ended up buying another for his first year because this one didn't detach from the base as a carrier. Plus, it was pretty big for bringing a newborn home from the hospital. As he's gotten bigger, it's been better and better to use! He is so comfortable in it! It's a little big for our car and that worries me when we'll have to move it to behind a seat to add another for the next kiddo. It wobbles a bit, but I think that's because my car has a hump in the middle of the back seat and I can't get a flat base for it. It installed easily and it's easy for my husband to move it between cars if we need to. The straps feel secure, but they're a bit high on the shoulders. My son gets a pretty good crick in his neck when he falls asleep in it on a road trip. It came with velcro backed pads for the straps, but they've been lost long ago, same with the cup holder. We ended up taking all the seat padding out because...
...

About a year ago we bought a brown evenflow car seat. I have been really liking it in the brown color, my now two year old drops all kinds of snacks, and even when it gets dirty, you can't tell it's dirty by looking at it!. The car seat also has an interesting way to adjust the restraint straps, which I love, it makes it easier then other car seats I have messed with! Also the evenflow car seat looks very comfortable, there is a lot of coushion in there, which makes me feel like my daughter is pretty safe, god forbid anything happen. I bought the evenflow car seat at Target, for a pretty fair price, and I feel we have already got our money's worth and then some, on this purchase. The car seat also has a variety of ways to install it in to your vehicle, which makes it nice when you have to switch the car seat to different vehicles. I can't think of any reasons for me not to like this car seat!
...

This seat offers lots of space for my toddler and seems very comfortable. He is able to move around comfortably (but safely) without feeling confined or restricted.

The only thing I really did not like about this seat was when my son got sick and threw up in it. It is not very easy to wash, since only the cloth cover comes off... no way to clean the straps or inside crevices.
...

Where to begin, I can only rave about Evenflo Triumph 5 comfort touch convertible car seat. I bought it at Target for my 1 year old son. At the time the car seat seemed to large and I honestly hated that it was to heavy to move from car to car. This spring we were driving back from visiting my in laws when we were in a terrible car accident. At the time we were driving a minivan, we were hit from the back going 70mph. My husband and I sustained numerous injuries while my son did not have a single scratch on him. When the paramedics arrived, they were stunned that he had not been injured. He was in his Triumph 5 car seat scared but not harmed. Talk about life saving.. The 5-point harness played a big role in his safety. I would recommend this car seat to anyone out there. The Triumph 5 comfort touch convertible is not only well made it's comfortable and my son loves it. He can wiggle around in his car seat and I have the satisfaction of knowing that he is...
...

This is a great car seat. Its very easy to install. The cost isnt outragous. There are a few down falls of this seat though. Its very bulky and wont fit into the back seat of a small car. It is also a little on the heavy side and needed to be installed by my husband. Overall this a a great carseat for the money. Very safe
...

This is an excellent car seat and a great value! We bought this carseat for our son when he was 12 months old and had outgrown his carrier, rear-facing seat and it has been great! It is very plush and all of the fabric is removable and machine washable. I have only a couple complaints and its about the pad. The black fades to a blue/purple in the sun and the "pleather" accents easily tear. I like the fact that it has multiple recline positions since it can be used as a rear facing seat for a 5 poung infant also. I also like the quick release and tightening dial. It also has a removable pad and head rest for extra plushness. It is a fairly large seat and is not fun to move in and out of cars but if you want your child to be safe and very comfortable then buy this seat! My son loves to be able to look out the window and with this seat he sits high enough to look out the front window of our Volvo. It is a great seat for the money and compares well to the more expensive...
...

I absolutely love this car seat! My daughter outgrew her infant car seat in height so we decided to get her a convertible one. After doing a lot of shopping around and comparing, we decided to go with this car seat for several reasons. It's looks very sturdy, has create ratings, came highly recommended, is able to accomidate a tall child, can stay rear facing for quite awhile, not too expensive, and it looked very comfortable. I'm very happy with this purchase. My daughter loves it as well. She always looks so comfortable and is never fussy in it like she was her infant car seat. She has plenty of room to stretch out and plent of room to grow! The only down side is that we have to put a towel under it so that it stays level and that it is pretty big so it makes it hard for other people to comfortable sit in the back seat with her. Regardless, I ride in the back all the time and for short trips it's not a big deal, but it does take up a lot of room so be aware of that!
...

I am not a mommy but we just got our first niece and I wanted to have a car seat in case my sister needed me. I found this car seat for 75 percent off at target. Got it for $39. Well worth my investment. I liked it because it has a five point harness and no over head arm. I took it to the state police check point so they could teach me how to install it properly and have it checked. In their crash test rating it got an a- which is great. The only as were $300 seats. I like it and my niece likes it. It will also be nice as she gets bigger cause it covers a large range of weight and has a cup holder....

My brother has this carseat for my nephew. When i babysit for him I get to use this. I have a son of my own younger and is considering gettting one for myself. It is durable and easy to get in and out of the car. It is great. It makes it very easy when trying to put one baby and an infant in the car. I would recommend this product to anyone. The quality is fantastic. It is nicely made with durable fabrics. As with most babies my nephew sleeps in car rides and it doesnt put him in uncomfortable positions. I have seen carseats that are extremly uncomfortable and hard to get babies in and out of....

The Evenflo Triumph 5 car seat is definitely a good buy. My son is now three and still using the seat. He grew out of the infant carrier at about 6 months so we had to shop for a new car seat. I checked consumer reports and this particular car seat had gotten a good review so I went to the store to look at this seat and a couple of others. The thing that totally won my over is the fact that you can tighten the 5 point harness by turning a wheel on the side. My son still had to face backwards in the car for 6 months and to be able to tighten the straps like that was fantastic. I didn't want to try pulling the tightening strap that most seats have because I would have been trying to pull it straight into the back of the seat -- this is much more convenient. We only paid around $100 for this car seat and have used it now for 2 and a half years. We're getting something new for my 3 year old but that's only because my other son is starting to outgrow the carrrier and needs it. ......

I'm always confused when I read a review of this seat that says it's hard to use. I think it is bar none the easiest car seat to get baby into and out of. I will admit that if you are going to need to move the seat between multiple cars, this is probably not the seat for you. It is difficult to install, and in fact, I prefer to take it to the fire station and let them do it. But once it's in, it's not going anywhere. The knob on the side makes loosening and tightening the straps so easy you can do it in seconds every time baby goes into the seat. That means that different thicknesses of clothing will no longer affect the safety of your child! I love the way the straps work, making it virtually impossible for them to tangle, too! I have been using this seat for over 3 years with my daughter and I will be buying a second one for the baby on the way. It is the best seat I've ever used....
