The snugli is not that confortable. It pulls on the parents neck. I really did not like it overall but my husband liked it. My son fits well in there and it is safe, except the sides come undone sometimes which in the end may result in my son falling out. I would not reccomend this item.
...

I bought the Evenflo Baby Carrier for my first child and it hurt my back so bad that I couldn't carry her in it. I have since then gotten a different type of baby carrier and no longer have back problems when I carry my children. And I can go for hours with them with no problems....

I bought this for my son and have used it for my daughter as well. There are certain places that make navigating a stroller quite difficult and these are the places that this carrier came in handy for me! Not to mention that the baby tends to be quieter because he's being "held" and snuggled close to mommy! I still have it and can't wait to pass it along to one of my friends. Of course, you can't use this with newborns, which is the only con....

goddessofddrrave says "Snugli isn't the best, but it does help." about Evenflo Snugli

My daughter loves the snugli, although my back disagrees. My daughter eventually grew out of the baby sling, so we decided to get a carrier that she could see the world in. The carrier does come in handy for those time that you don't wanna lug around a car seat and stroller and is very comfortable for the baby, but after awhile, reallly does a number on your back. On top of that, when baby falls asleep in the front facing position, it's VERY HARD to switch her around. The fold down flap doesn't help much, and most times my baby is just kinda dangling forward. Overall I like this carrier, but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on using often for long periods of time....

tinkandcarlie says "Wasn't comfortable and is very dangerous for smaller size baby" about Evenflo Snugli

I absolutely cannot stand the snugli, it is a total disgrace to the baby carrying industry. I used one when my daughter was smaller(maybe a month or two after birth) that I had received as a shower gift. I couldn't stand the straps digging into my shoulders, the baby's weight is hanging by the crotch which can cause hip displacia and other hip joint problems and the distribution of the babies body was not even she would often be slouching or more to one side. I absolutely would not purchase this product for a friend or family member, however I do recommend the mya wrap or a mei-tye wrap they are very safe and comfortable and keep baby close to mommy without slouching or discomfort....

I couldn't use this carrier. I am 5'2" and weight 100 lbs and I could not make the straps tighter so it didn't fit right. It hung loosly and would give me a bad back ache.

It is a nice, cheap, carrier though for someone with a bigger "frame".
...

rjjorgen says "Great option for many parents" about Evenflo Snugli

We have three carriers: a handmade one similar to a Maya wrap, another handmade sling, and this. My huaband prefers this; he feels more balanced in it than the slings. It isn't easy to adjust, so I never use it, as he's 8 inches and 75 lbs bigger. Our baby really seems to enjoy it. She's fallen asleep in all three positions, and doesn't seem to be uncomfortable. When we go camping this spring, I'm sure we'll bring it; it's lightweight enough that it's not an extra strain, and she is securely held. However, like all carriers, it may not be as comfortable for every body shape....

I received an Evenflo Snugli as a gift from my mother before my son was born. I used it for the first time when he was only a week old, because I had to travel by bus to a medical appointment quite far from my house. Even when he was that young, the Snugli was secure enough that I didn't have to worry about him being too small...and now that he is 5 months old, facing outward, he still fits comfortably in it.

I also love the multiple points at which you can adjust the fit of the carrier; my boyfriend and I both use it, and have found the necessary adjustments to be quick and easy. I expect to use this carrier for at least a few more months, depending on how big my son gets. So far, I haven't experienced any back pain as a result of using the carrier, and it's been a lifesaver for both my back and arms on days when my son doesn't want to be put down!
...

I purchased this product hoping to be able to take my daughter with me while freeing up my hands. When she was smaller and rode in it facing towards me, it worked better, but I thought that the leg holes cut into her legs, no matter how I adjusted it. When she got bigger and started to ride in it facing out, it seemed to get more uncomfortable for her - the way her arms were restriced she just seemed stuck, plus the leg holes were still cutting into her legs (not literally cutting, but leaving marks). It was uncomfortable on my back too, no matter how high or low I tried it.
While it's a handy thing to have, I just wouldn't recommend it, both for mom's comfort and for baby's. Maybe something with a different design would work better.
...

Mindoran says "Great product...superior to more expensive brands!!!" about Evenflo Snugli

I have used other baby carriers and nothing compares to the Evenflo Snugli! I have the Eddie Bauer edition and I absolutely love it. The price is amazing for the quality and comfort this carrier has to offer. I did alot of research before buying this Snugli because all of the other carriers I have ever used have not offered enough back support. The Snugli has a band that goes around your waist, as well as the cross over straps for your back. The material that the carrier is made out of is very soft and comfortable for the baby.

My daughter loved to be carried in the Snugli. I used it for grocery shopping, short mall trips, walks outside and also in my own house...it was a great way to get things done even if she was a little bit fussy. As much use as it has seen, I have also loaned it to a friend, it still looks brand new!!!

I would recommend this carrier to any busy mom!!!
...

I bought this product over a stroller. My car had broke down and was not able to be fixed so I had to catch the bus (public transportation) for a while. This was so helpful I could walk to the bus stop with ease and my son was very comfortable in it and I think he actually enjoyed it. I didn't have to worry about folding a stroller or pushing a stoller up and down the street and when I needed to stop at a store for any reason I was in and out in a flash. Plus my son usually fell asleep with no problems on some of those bus rides and it was a lot easier to just carry him like that without disturbing him. This was a life saver during that difficult time. I would recommend this product as a sure must have for any new parent. It comes in handy.
...

This product is great! My baby loves to be held, he's almost 2 months so he needs constant attention, so if it weren't for this product I would never get anything done! Its easy to use and adjust. After walking with him in it after a while he falls right asleep. I've only been using it for 1 month but it seems pretty durable and I haven't had any problems so far. Its not too bad on the back either, which I was worried about. I wasn't sure if my baby would like being in a carrier so I just got this one to try out since its only $20, and its been great, no need for the other pricey brands!...
