variclay says "Great travel system for the price! Would use again!" about Evenflo Aura

This travel system is great. I have been using it for about four months now and I love it. My son is safe and I dont fear that the carseat is going to hurt him in any way. The only down side is that the stroller is bulky but what travel system dtroller isn't. I love the z design. Its really easy to carry around. Not too heavy. The stroller is a one hand open one, which is great when the baby is fussy and you need to open it quickly.
...

I bought this carseat for my first grandbaby and although she is not here yet I am pleased that I selected this seat. It is a good value for the money and easy to change belt postition and has a base. The only thing I would change is that the fabric cover is a tad bit rough but I don't think it will be bothersome for the baby.
...

I bought the Evenflo Arua travel system at Babies R Us back in February and it was has been wonderful! I bought this system before I had a problem pregnancy so I used it for my son. The stroller is wonderful. Light weight, and easy to manage and steer. We have used just the stroller so far because my son is 4 and when we go shopping he hates to walk around. We have yet to use the carseat because our daughter is due in February of next year. But as far as I can tell the carseat looks to be comfortable as well as safe and stylish! The price was great when we were looking at this system because others were too expensive and had the samethings. The handle is wonderful on the stoller and the carseat and very able to be managed. This stoller also had a case for wipes incase of a spill or if you forget the wipes at home to change your baby they are right there!
...

The Evenflo Aura system is a great system for someone on a budget. It is one of the more inexpensive ones out there, is lightweight, and easy to use. You can open and close the stroller with one hand, which is a huge plus! The carseat snaps in easily, and releases easily. It has a pretty good sized storage basket underneath, and The stroller is relatively easy to maneuver.
...

The Evenflo Aura will give you room to store all you'r nesseccary items. the two cup holder up by the handle comes in very handy as well as the two on the tray by the seat. I found it very easy to put together and to fold down. It was easy to put the carseat in too. I liked that the visor for it covered the carseat as well as the visor for the carseat so my child stayed nice an warm and out of the weather too. It has come in handy in the mall, I was ablre to go shopping and not worry my bags or my purse since there was plenty of room in the bottom storage comparpment. Overal its very functional and easy to use. It has served its purpose for me and my child. The only draw back i have with it was it lays back way to much and doesnt go forward enough so your child slouches back a little bit. But, if you can get past that its a nice stroller.
...

I received the aura carseat and stroller as a shower gift. i made the mistake of registering for it online and didn't look at or feel in person. when i first put my daughter in it i knew that it wasn't all that great. it has almost no padding or support in it compared to some of my friends that bought their travel systems in the same price point. i didn't think that the base installation was all that difficult but i had help from a veteran mom. The stroller was also a let down because although it had features i was looking for it is very very hard to steer and keep control of.
...

kpk says "Makes life easy while carring the infant" about Evenflo Aura

All the evenflo infant car seats are really good, especially when you are required to carry the infant with the car seat. The handle which is in "z" shape really helps us. Its eazy to carry and very convenient. When compared with the other competitor models and etc.. Most of the time the infant car seats hearts the legs while walking, we will not be able to walk for a long time and in tern we will not be able to carry infant with the car seat for long time. The "Z" shape of the handle relives us from the should pain.. we need not put the car seat away from the body, which reduces to usage of more power to hold the car sea,. Infact you will be able to hold the car seat for a long time. Especially when are in malls and if you are required to carry the infant car seat.. you will be haveing back pain, leg pain, the arm and shoulder pain, to avoid them .. you need have a good handle. Apart from that the locking machanism is very cool one, its very easy to lock and and unlock.
...

angieboschee says "Pass on this carseat if you are on a budget" about Evenflo Aura

We have the evenflo aura carseat for the little one I babysit for and I have had two children of my own as well as babysat many others through the years. And i have to say this is the carseat that I would recommend the least. It doesn't have belt slots to be used without a base so the parents that I babysit for had to go and buy not one but two more bases for each of their cars as well as mine. It also has a small canopy that doesn't shield the babies from the sun and the handle seems rather flimsy. The little one I babysit for is 16 pounds and when I carry her in it by the handle it feels like the handle is flexing and it worries me that it will break off. The belt straps only have two positions and the highest position is still really quite low. I think that it is better to spend a bit more and buy any other carseat besides this one because you will save money on bases in the long run.

The pros I have found are the patterns are cute and the latch in front of their diaper...
...

pgmstr says "Don't know what the fuss is about this travel system" about Evenflo Aura

I have been using the Aura stroller and carseat for almost a year and a half now, (obviously my son's pretty small :) and I haven't had any trouble with installing or using the carseat. We have taken it on many trips and installed the base into grandparents and friend's cars. It has always fit well in a roomy vehicle especially our Ford Taurus (which I never considered roomy) but in my friend's more compact sadan and in an airplane the handle couldn't lock into it's correct position for driving, and the seat seemed wedged in behind the front seat. In all of the cars the level has shown green and we haven't had to readjust the base.

I've been reading safetly rating online and they recommend returning carseats that don't fit well in your vehicle.

The stroller is convenient to have with the carseat, and it's a pretty average stroller. It's not good for jogging (the wheels start wigging out and jiggling back and forth even when locked) and it's not a compact little umbrella...
...

The evenflo aura travel system was very easy for me to put together and took hardly anytime at all besides that the stroller works for children of all sizes. this seemed to be the cheapest travel system i could find and yet it excelent when it comes to safety and the best part is that it is adorable and it isnt pink or blue so it works for boys and girls! it has plenty of room for stroage the only problem i have with it is that it is hard to store because it is so big and i dont think it would fit in a smaller cars trunk
...

Evenflo - Aura Elite Car seat

handle design is too good (Z shaped), easy to hold and good hand grib.

The belts are very soft, so no need to worry about for using infant. Value for the money. car seat material is very good and soft. the belt adjustments are good and easy. Seen my friends having tough time in adjusting the belt in other brand car seats.

Fits very well and secure with Evenflo strollers. Great for shopping with infants.

Very stlish and available in different colors. I have bought brown color, its very easy to identify my car seats from all other blue color ones. Base installation is very easy. Fits well in the car middle seat than sides.

The strap lenght does not seems to be sufficient to buckle for my baby from the 3rd month itself. never had difficulties with the buckling that seems to be very easy to handle my baby.

The fabric is easy to clean even with little spills of baby food. I was able to use the base on very old car models and also on recent models.
...
