Okay, so it's hard to miss the whole Evan turned Noah bit. The parallels are obvious. So above and beyond, in fact, that it is corny. But that's part of what makes the movie fun. Yes, it ends with a "flood". No, it doesn't tramp on God's promise never to flood the eath again. Careful, though, there is a part in the movie that is huge on slapstick injuries. Some kids aren't cool with seeing someone hurt over and over again - even if they know it isn't really for real. Overall, I'd see it again....

Evan Almighty is a great movie i have watched this movie about a 100 times since christmas and i must say i give it and A+++. Evan Almighty is the sequal to Bruce Almighty is has a great cast including Steve Carrell <40 year old virgin>, Morgan Freeman <the bucket list>, Lauren Graham <Gilmore Girls>, Wanda Sykes < Monster in law>, John Goodman <Roseanne>, and many more. As you can see that this movie recieves an 100% not only for what the picture brings but the outstanding cast.

the picture and theme of Evan Almighty is out of this world, the item of the A.R.K. idea great, and the comedy is great each person brings a little.

I would tell everyone i meet to watch Evan Almighty it a family movie brought you by hollywood and made with love.

I wasn't expecting anything great with this movie and was pleasantly surprised. It was quite funny and touching at the same time. Of course, the whole thing was far fetched and something that could never happen in real life, but that's why we watch movies right? It showed a lot of lessons in human nature and how to treat others. It had plenty of funny moments too. I'm glad I caught this movie....

What's up with "Evan Almighty"? Not the laughs, that's for sure. This is one of the LEAST funny comedies I've ever seen, and it's a SERIOUS disappointment coming on the heels of "Bruce Almighty", which was a laugh a minute.

The story is totally weak. Changing Evan from a dorky newscaster to a groveling congressman really makes no sense and the movie goes from ridiculous on down. Morgan Freeman is totally wasted in this role that gives him no real God powers, and indeed just trivializes his supposed infinite wisdom.

The jokes are flat and the only reason they EVER get a laugh is because they involve animals pooping. If it weren't for poop, there'd be NOTHING funny in the entire movie. That's a pretty sorry state of affairs, no doubt, but then, "Evan Almighty" is a pretty sorry excuse for a movie.

Lame, lame, lame!

I loved the end and the end titles. It was a movie that made me laugh. I loved all of the different animals and how many helped build the ark. I LOVE Morgan Freeman as God....

I really liked this movie. I mean, all the animals and the entire concept was great. The actors and actresses were just right. And who else plays God so well along with humor and great insight. It is fun for the entire family and you just can not help laughing....

THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE FOR ALL AGES. I AM A 22 YEAR OLD WHO BOUGHT IT AND WATCHED IT ONE NIGHT AND LOVED IT. IT WAS GREAT. THE STORY LINE WAS WONDERFUL AND IT EVEN BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES AT THE END. A DEFINITE RECOMMENDATION FOR ALL AGES....

I enjoyed this movie much more than I thought I would! I did not care for Bruce Almighty very much (as I felt there was inappropriate material for a movie that was supposed to have a "religious" spin to it), but Evan Almighty was not much like a sequel -- other than the fact that it had the Morgan Freeman character (who plays God). This movie was much more family friendly. The humor was not inappropriate for children (for the most part), and the fact that it has lots of animals in it makes it fun for children too! I really enjoyed watching the family in this film interact with each other and see how their love and devotion to one another grew as the story progressed. I'd say the two most important lessons to learn from watching this movie are the importance of family and following your dreams (having faith in your dreams). I would definitely recommend this for a fun family movie night!...

I loved this movie! Since I'm usually hanging out with my husband and kids in my free time (when I have it), I'm always looking for good family entertainment. It's nicew to find family movies that aren't cartoons. This movie presents a Bible story in a fun and entertaining way so your kids are actually learning something while watching a movie! I happen to be a Lauren Graham fan so that helps! Overall- a great movie!...

As an atheist I didn't think this movie would be so great. I was completely wrong. It was funny, clever and enjoyable with limited direct religious references. It's a great movie for any age and will make you laugh....

This was a great movie to see with my kids!! It had great values that my 4 year old son picked up on, that surprised me alot!! We laughed alot and it had a great message to it. Was pretty silly, but it was a good flick for all of us to see....
