I had a Lexmark printer/scanner. I was paying sixty dollars at a time for the print cartridges. It was getting to expressive.I needed to get something more affordable.Considering every time I turned around I was having to but more ink.So I went to my local Wal-mart.I found the Kodiak printer/scanner all in one.

I was very happy when I got it home and started working with it.It doesn't use as mush ink.Not only does it use less ink,but it cost less also.

Then when I stared printing out my pictures,I really noticed the deference. The pictures looked real.It wasn't faded,or had lines in it.

It was very easy to install, with its step- by-step, instructions.I was so pleased.

It is very simple to use.You can use it for daily use or home office.Getting the full guilty of all your documents rather text,t grafts, charts,or pictures.

If you are tired of spending money on your old printer. If you don't like the way the printed items come out.I would recommend the Kodiak Printer/Sanner.It will save you bundles....
...

I was really impressed with this printer when we got it. At first, I thought that the price, just under $100 before the discounts and coupons we had, was a bit much, but setting the printer up was easy and fast, and once we started printing, I knew I would never turn back. The first time I scanned something, I was in HEAVEN - it seriously cannot be easier to scan any document from hard copy into a machine, no matter who you are or what computer you are using. The only real con I have to say about it is that I really regret not being able to buy the catridges for replacements cheaply enough anywhere and I REALLY dislike the fact that you can't print anything once ONE catridge runs out. Despite all of that, there are ways to get coupons for ink refills, and even if there isn't, it's a fair enough trade for the top-quality pictures and documents that the machine prints. The pictures it prints - from any sort of media imaginable, either directly from one's camera via USB cords, the...
...

I have an Epson all in one printer/scanner for about 2 years now and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is sturdy, it is reliable and it is worth the money which by the way isn't much. I had a Lexmark before and let me tell you that is the biggest joke on earth for printing. The Epson 4800 has never failed me. The ink cartridges do matter however, you MUST buy Epson ink, I had used a refurbished ink that fit my printer and it exploded all over inside. However, once I got it all cleaned up, put the Epson ink in it, no problems at ALL. All the functions work, I use it as a copier and to scan docs for graphic design. Never settle for less, if you really want photos or full control over what you print...buy an Epson. Nothing beats their prices, availability or reliability. You can even print a photo on photo paper and then run it under the tap water and it will NOT bleed! Amazing and wonderful set up perfect for novice and advanced user alike.
...

When looking to buy one of these cheap printer fax combinations - look into the cost of the printer cartridges. Are they available at discounted stores and are they refillable. This can save you alot of time and money when you have to replace the originals. I find that the HP has the better prices and easier to find replacements.
...

I just got off the phone with Epson Support and I was told something I wish I had known before I bought this or any Epson printer: No Epson printer will print ANYTHING if one of the colors is empty. I ran out of Cyan when I was printing black and white reports (suspect in itself) and now I can't print this check run or use just black ink until I go buy a Cyan cartridge. I know with Canon and HP, if you run out of Cyan or Magenta, you can still print grayscale, just not Cyan and Magenta!! This is a scam as I very rarely print in color and my color cartridges are somehow being used up and shutting down my whole machine. I wish I had a Canon or HP or even a Mattel printer right now!...

Epson all-in-one CX5800F

It's a great working computer - it's a little cumbersome to work with a wireless network because the printer drivers doesn't recognize easily the wireless computer (airport network) - have to designate the airport-connected computer as a Rendezvous (sp) - once that's done, it works well, BUT the printer utility doesn't work with the Rendezvous printer. You have to have the printer plugged in directly to the computer to use the utility. That is also true with the scanner.
...

Epson Stylus CX 7400

note: The CX 7400 supports Windows 2000, XP, XP Professional x64 Edition, Vista, and Mac OS X 10.2.8, 10.3.9 and above. It does not have a parallel port, USB cable not included.

Like all Epson printers setup of the CX 7400 was simple. The instructions were well written and easy to understand, the ink slots are color coded so there is no guess work what goes where. My only problem was the USB port is recessed and I needed a flashlight, so be sure and have a flashlight or a well-lit room. You'll want to get the serial number from the back before you began as you will need it during the registration process. Follow the instructions for connecting the printer, insert the CD when instructed and follow the prompts. Even registration is made as painless as possible. After filling in the form (easy) you are given the option of registering online, by mail or by fax. The directions for printing, copying and scanning could be understood by a two year old (maybe not quite that young......

For years I had a simple Epson printer that came with my first Gateway PC. It was slow, but reliable. It even made it through a flood. (No kidding.) It got full of water. I turned it upside down (outside of course) let it drain, and aired it out on a sunny day. When I plugged it back in...IT WORKED!

I've tried one Lexmark. It lasted only a little over a year. And there was no generic ink cartridges to be found anywhere. Expensive! I went back to Epson. I found my current one on-line at the Epson Store. Then I went to "Clearance Center". I found a refurbished Stylus CX-4800 for $50.00...shipping included. It carried a one year warranty, same as a new one. What the heck...I bought it and I like it.

I get my 'generic' cartridges through printpal.com. I can buy all four cartridges through them about the same price as one through Office Max or Office Depot.
...
