Dear Prospective Car Renter, To put it simply, Enteprise is just, well the worst. A little anecdote - once upon a holiday season I reserved a Ford Focus. After waiting an hour and tolerating many sup par attempts at customer pacification, I was shoved with a Dodge Caliber. Now, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the vehicle, a Dodge CaIiber, it is nowhere near the beauty that is a Focus; I felt like I was driving some sort of bottom heavy bug. But I had my tail between my legs - It was Christmas Eve Eve! So, I take the Dodge. It breaks down. The gears won't shift out of park. I call Enterprise - forty five minutes on hold and they tell me that I am responsible for getting to the airport, an additional thirty minutes away, to get a new car. Oh yeah, and I've gotta get the Dodge towed, which, is impossible to do. I've been trying to for the past three hours. If I don't get it towed - I'm responsible. If I do get it towed and there are any damages (which there will be) - I'm responsible....

I recently had to leave my car with my dealer for repairs and as part of my coverage, I was forced to use Enterprise for a rental. originally, i was put out but the personnel at the Newport News, VA office was highly professional and made me feel extremely comfortable. I assume it was obvious i wasnt accustomed to rentals so the agent explained the process to me. he was very friendly and professional at all times with a touch of professionalism. i wsa impressed because I wasnt paying for the service yet he still treated me with the respect of a paying customer. he made suggestions for which Nissan I should choose and I was highly impressed with his suggestion. I wouldve never opted for a Rogue on my own but my next purchase will be a Rogue because of him. checking in and out was so convenient I felt i forgot something but it was quite simple. I would actually like to work for the company because of my experience.

Get the facts straight. They have a window to negotiate so don't take there first offer.

If you want to use there insurance make sure the car looks good. The will pin you with the bill if you don't write down every mark. Walk around the car with a employee. Look for coupon codes and book online for the lowest rate weeks ahead of time. You don't pay if you have to cancel you will get the lowest rate online. If you every have any issues write to the ceo he will fix the problem. HAVE A SAFE TRIP!!

This company is a scam. Buyer beware. My husband went to visit his father (who is dying of cancer) and needed to rent a car. We had online pricing of something like 13.29 a day. Sounds great huh? then they add all these fees (airline delivery, etc) the bill comes to 79.00 for 3 days. Then it turns out that when we reserved the vehicle it was for a different airport. They only listed one airport for Phoenix. The clerk at the new rental station says it will cost my husband 10.00 a day more now. Somewhere there is a scam going on. Make sure that you read the fine print. There are out to scam the consumer. I would rather go with a reputable company I contacted the company to see if they would do anything, but they refused to. We will never go back. BTW whoever created this site needs to check the spelling... liers? horiffic?

While I only travel about 4 times per year, I usually require a car and Enterprise's prices are always comptitive with the other companies and when I arrive at the counter, I'm greated with a smile and someone anxious to help. They make the process VERY simple and I'm glad that they're available at my destinations. Last winter I was traveling with my then 6-month-old daughter it was great to be able to rent a car seat from them instead of lugging that along with us too! I was traveling alone with her, so I really didn't want to try to bring too much with me. The crew in Cleveland, Ohio is professional, courteous, and I'm glad to travel knowing that on the other end I'll have a pleasant and easy transaction!

On a recent trip to Florida, I reserved an "economy" car for a long weekend. Upon arrival I was cheerfully greeted and as they did not have an economy car on the lot, they offered a free upgrade to a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible - I was impressed !! After renting the vehicle and upon my return, they utilized the coupon I had as well and what a great deal for a great car !! The employees were very professional and courteous - highly recommend this company!!

After renting twice from these people Im here to tell everyone to stay away. They dont know what the word service means . They will try to sell you on junk cars when you have requested something elese.

My husband's company rented this car for us, three months ago. When we went there to pick up the car, we just sign the contract as we taught that it's all about the agreement between them and the cowpony. they also took our credit card and said they just need it as a deposit. but after three months we understand that they charged our credit card 750 $ per months for the insurance that we didn't need at all. and it costs us 2250 $ for 3 months. we went there and they said you signed the contract and we couldn't do any thing.

now we should pay 2250$ for nothing, what do you think about such a company???????????

During our most recent vacation to Myrtle Beach we had the misfortune of have a breakdown. The towing company called Enterprise for us and within 30 minutes we were on our way to the office to get a car. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately, they only had 2 cars to choose from. One was a large suv and the other was a hummer. Under normal circumstances, we wouldn't have chosen either, but we were pretty much stuck. I think we could have gotten a better deal if we had been able to shop around or had been at an airport terminal....but we weren't. We wanted to get on with the vacation until our car was repaired as quickly as possible. If you can plan for this ahead of time, shop around. If you can't, it is comforting to know that Enterprise can get you back to where you want to be with a minimum of trouble. The suv we got was getting a little old and "dinged" but that wasn't a problem for us. If I had been wanting to impress someone with my rental, this would...

For someone who has only had unpleasant experiences from rental car companies I was not expecting to rent a car from smiling, considerate employees. The first car I was given smelled like smoke and I notice dog hair and spilled coffee so I brought it back after an hour and they immediately apologized and exchanged my car for an upgrade. When I returned the car with a crack in the windshield I wasn't hassled a bit. Service was quick and the prices were better than any other company I could find. It was even cheaper than bidding for a car on Priceline. The economy car we rented was a bare bones Hyundai with manual windows and locks. Other rental car companies I've been to have had better economy cars. Nonetheless, I will only rent from Enterprise in the future.

Just recently rented a car from Enterprise they are the only rental place I use. Courteous, friendly and fast. If I waited 20 minutes from the counter to the car that was a long time. They have you in and out. The cars are also kept in great condition.
