Both my daughter and son have been on Nitramogen Lipil formula from Enfamil. It is a hypoallergenic formula that is partially broken down, to be easier on baby's tummy. Especially those with an allergy to cow's milk protein.

My son was born a CRABBY baby...he was up all night long screaming and all day long screaming..we tried sooooo many different formulas on him and we ended up on our last one and IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!! Within a day of being on Nutramigen he was a different baby..Actually smiling and content..If you are having trouble with formula skip the rest and go right to this stuff!! It really works..its very expensive but seriously when you are dealing with a crabby baby and no sleep the money really doesnt matter!!

Im gonna start off my saying that daughter has had numerous problems with her tummy since birth. She has acid reflux really bad along with a lot of other unmentioned problems. We tried everything for about 3 months straight. All she did was cry and never slept. I thought I was gonna lose my mind. My pediatrician recommended that I try Nutramigen formula (either powder or liquid) and see how that works. Within just the first, about 3 bottles, I noticed a huge difference in our baby girl. She was so much more content and actually smiled at me for the first time. I just cried. But they call it "liquid gold" and it really is when you have an unhappy baby. It is quite expensive and the smell of it is pretty nasty but there is nothing more important than a happy & healthy child. She is now almost a year old and we have transitioned to "whole milk" with no problems. Nutramigen is a miracle worker for babies that cannot tolerate nothing else and it saved my sanity as well. :) I would recommend...

My daughter was very fussy and had an immense amount of gas and discomfort. She wouls scream for hours and nothing helped. Our doctor suggested this formula and although the can is smaller and more expensive BOY was it ever worth it. Within days the gas subsided and my daughter was finally smiling. She still had some periods of fussiness but nothing like what it was before the change in formula. LIFESAVER

My son was born and he could not tollerate breast milk or formula not milk or soy so the dr tried him on the nutramigen. its very expensive but he could hold it down. it smelled horrible but he drank it all the time he grew up to be a happy HEALTHY baby! He didnt spit up this formula and I was very happy with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My twin boys were premature and had feeding (as well as other) problems. I was not making enough breastmilk for both of them so I had to find a formula they could tolerate. This turned out to be the only one, as they were also lactose intolerant. I also had to add cereal to it to thicken it in order to help with their acid reflux. I would recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation.

I am a mother of identical twin girls. When my babies were born I decided to use the Enfamil line of formulas instead of breastfeeding, as I heard this was a premium brand. I started both of my girls on the regular Enfamil formula, which was great for the first 2 months. When my girls turned 2 months old, they both started experiencing colic symptoms with fussiness and gas and lots of discomfort. I called my doctor and asked for advice and suggestions on how to deal with colic and he suggested to try the Enfamil Nutramigen. I immediately switch to the Enfamil Nutramigen and even after the first bottle, I noticed a difference. Both of my girls started to calm down and their gas and fussiness eventually disappeared. The formula is easy to use and after a while, even though it has a unique odor, you will get used to it. I reccomend this product if your baby is experiencing any symptoms of colic.

Enfamil's Nutramigen Baby Formula has done wonders for my colicky baby! It was recommended by our pediatrician and has really helped to reduce the amount of gas in my child's tummy, leading to a happier baby for sure. However, he still has reflex and spits a lot, but at least he is less fussy. This formula is super expensive, but you can contact Enfamil to join their program and they will send you valuable coupons and formula checks in the mail. I have found that it is the cheapest at WalMart and Target, however, only Babies R Us sells the slightly larger cans of formula. Another huge downfall is the smell of the formula. It stinks! The smell never quite comes out of our laundry either. But hey, I'd rather have a happy baby that stinks instead of a fussy baby that smells good. There really isn't a store brand substitution so if you have a fussy baby that is colicky, I'd definitely give this formula a try!

I tried breastfeeding my daughter for weeks, but she never was able to keep the milk down.

I am lactose intolerant, so my doctor said to try a soy formula. I tried that, but then she wasn't pooping.

I went through every formula you can think of, then my friend told me about Nutramigen.

I talked to my doctor, and she said it was a last resort formula because it smelled horrible, is expensive and you can't run to a small corner store to get more if you run out. It is a hypoallergenic easy to digest formula.

I tried it, and my baby girl finally could eat, keep it down and have no issues! This made her so happy and me too! It is expensive, but it was a lifesaver!

If nothing else works, I recommend you try Nutramigen!

Well for starters I think my 6 1/2 month old little girl has just about tried every formula out there. She was on this formula for three month, but was still sick. After a visit to the specialists we have discovered she has a severe Milk allergy that will not be fixed with this. During our three month trial with this one I found, it is very difficult to mix, super sticky, smelly, I cant imagine it to taste very well either. As far as price goes for this formula, For the last three months I thought it was very expensive, but just remember there are more expensive ones out there. I know it is hard to believe, but their prescription grade formula (which poor baby is on now) is $56.00 a can at the pharmacy. I only wish I could go back to the $25.00 cans. A tip of advise that I did find to be helpful, is if you take the cold nursery water, and measure out your desired amount (I always did a full days worth at a time) and measure out the correct amount of scoops into a mini electric...

Enfamil Nutramigen Baby Formula is a lifesaver for babies who cannot tolerate cow's milk protein formulas. My daughter had bloody stools when she was 6 weeks old, and we switched to this formula. It made an amazing difference in my baby. We tried several other formulas and they were all disastrous and caused many problems for my baby. Enfamil Nutramigen is a partially hydrolized, hypoallergenic formula, and is easy to digest. It is suitable for babies who have a cow's milk protein allergy or colic due to a cow's milk protein allergy. My baby was also allergic to soy and we had no problems with Enfamil Nutramigen. Moms do have an option for safely feeding their baby who cannot tolerate other formula, and it feels great to know that my baby is getting her nutrition from a brand that I trust. I am grateful for this formula getting my daughter safely into toddlerhood without tummy or skin issues causing problems.

I feel like Nutramigin infant formula is absolutely the best formula out there is your baby is experiencing any kind of feeding or eating problem. My daughter was diagnosed with GERD and after trying a few other formulas the doctor finally gave us this one and it really seemed to help out so much. She stayed on this formula until she was 11 months old. The only thing that I would like to tell anyone who has never used it before is that it does not have that pleasant of an odor - but after a while you just have to get use to it. Another thing is that it does seem to have a little bit different taste as if maybe it is bitter or something. So in order for my daughter to take it at first we had to add just a little bit of kayro syrup to the very bottom of the bottle and mix it in with the Nutramigen. She seemed to like it much better. Then each time I would just decrease the amount until she didn't even need it anymore! The only other bad thing would be that is it pretty pricey...but if it...

After using other formulas for our colic son, the doctor switched us to Enfamil Nutramegin. He was so uncomfortable and would literally throw up. He was so tiny and wouldn't sleep well because his tummy hurt so bad. After being on Nutramegin our baby boy became happy and slept so much better. Because of his low birth weight he was on this wonder formula for two years. Our son is thriving and healthy, our dreams have come true.

Enfamil Nutramigen is an amazing formula. After just a few days on this formula, my son's level of spit-up decreased and he was much less gassy. This is a great formula for acid-reflux babies! On the expensive side (about $25 per 16 oz can for regular, $25 for 12.9 oz can with added Enflora), but worth it! Combine sales with manufacturers checks and it's about the same price as normal formulas. Even with the added cost, the benefits of this formula are definately worth it!

Easier to digest for children with milk sensitivity because the milk proteins are already broken down.
