You get what you pay for, but you don't want to skimp when the baby's happiness and your peace of mind and your own happiness are at issue. This product does produce less gas. This product dissolves rapidly, too. No clumping ever experienced when mixing the formula. They have the products which are allegedly the same, for less costs. However, this Enfamil Gentlease actually produces less gas. Facts are facts. Tried both - name brand and generic. Generic does not produce as good results as the named brand product. The baby is not fussy at all when using the Enfamil product, as opposed to when using a different or the generic product. I recommend this product, because of not only reducing the gas and fussiness accompanied and/or caused by other products, but for your own peace of mind, happiness, less stress and allowing you more time to attend to other daily duties an infant caregiver has. Enfamil Gentlease baby formula is shown and proven to reduce fussiness and gas.My granddaughter was the most crankiest baby EVER!!! Hi, Everyone I am writing about the formula Enfamil Gentle Ease. My last two children were very crabby and colicky. A friend of mind had mentioned to try and switch the formula since maybe the formula he had was not agreeing to his stomach. It was horrible many many clothes did he go through in a day. He spit up, it wasnt just regular spit up it was forceful. I was very worried something was wrong. I took him to the Dr. His pediatrician said since he was gaining weight she didn't see any problem with it. So then thats when I talked to WIC (Women, Infants, And Children) right away they switched his formula. He still spit up for a few days but after that it was smooth sailing from then on. I just recently had another baby. A little girl. She was really fussy and crabby. I figured maybe once again it was the formula. Sure enough once I switched her formula she was a happy little girl. I gave this to my newborn son as a supplement. He was very fussy and I was told that this would help. It helped somewhat at the beginning and then lately (around 3 months later ) he is as gassy as before. It made his poops horribly smelly, green and watery. It smells horrible and I dont think he likes the taste. I switched to premium lipil and he cant get enough of it!

When my daughter was a newborn, I found out that for medical reasons, I was not able to breastfeed. So I decided to use formula. After using several different brands of formula, my daughter was becoming increasingly fussy, and had a lot of gas. I got a free sample of Gentlease from my daughter's physician, and within a few days of using the product, my daughter was much happier. She began to coo and to smile, and her gassiness was greatly reduced.

I don't listen to people who say that formula is not what's best for a baby, because they obviously have not walked a BLOCK (much less a MILE) in my shoes. When a mother is unable to breastfeed, she must resort to formula. Formula has many good nutrients for baby, and it serves as a nutritious alternative to breast-milk. I do believe that breast-milk provides the optimum nutrition for a developing baby, but that's not to say that formula is somehow inferior. My daughter is two months now and when I left the hospital i was using Enfamil the regular one lipil. Everything was going good. She was great but then she was getting a little fussy and had gas. I had already got a bunch of recommendations from moms and grandparents to try the Gentlease lipil , "that it truely works'. Well finally I went down to the store and bought one. I noticed within a week that she was doing wayyy better.

The fussyness almost completely stopped. Yeah she gets a little gas here and there but it drastically lessened. I will definately recommend Enfamil Gentlease Lipil to all the moms out their with newborns who are a little fussy with gas. It really does work, I didn't believe it myself until I tried it. And Thank jesus that their is WIC. I don't know how I would be able to buy this brand or any other without it!

I love the look of the formula can too. They made it look pretty. It is a good product in an attractive container!

My daughter was breastfed, but I had trouble producing milk. After trying a couple of different formulas, this one seemed to agree with her more. She became a happy baby after about a day!

My daughter was on Enfamil premium and for three weeks she was so cranky, it took her an hour to eat her bottle and she always played with her bottle while eating and only took little 10 -20 min cat naps and she was spitting up everytime she ate, so my doctor told me to put cereal in her bottle and i actually tried the gentlease first and it worked like magic, she was eating her formula normal and not playing with her bottle and she was taking more naps and sleeping better, i love this product and so does my daughter she is so much more pleasant and happy

My baby was born early, at 32 weeks to be exact. Therefore, she was put on a formula to increase her weight. The only problem with that was it made her so fussy she couldn't sleep. She had such horrible gas that she grunted and groaned even in her sleep. It was so awful, and I felt so bad for her. I could see how much pain and discomfort she had. I figured the doctor would be upset if I changed her formula due to her need for gaining weight, so without her knowledge i changed the formula. I tried 3 or 4 different kinds, without success. Every one of the formula's stated "for fussy/gassy babies" and every one FAILED! I finally spoke to the doctor and told her the dilemma. When my daughter was born I tried to nurse for a very long two months... lets just say it didnt work out but for the next baby I have I wont give myself such a hard time because this formula was amazing. She had problems with any other formulas because they were to harsh on her stomach and sometimes it was days before she could go to the bathroom. Any mom would tell you that that is not a good thing and that will cause a very unhappy baby. After a couple months my doctor told me to try this formula and I will never try another again. She adjusted to this formula in a couple of days and stayed on it until she switched to whole milk at a year old. They were no side effects to this formula which was great and it helps with gassy babies as well so it is a bonus. I have reccomended this to many friends and had a few switch over. The only downfall is the price but the way i see it happiness come with a price. If you search around you might be able to find some coupons but no matter what I would...

When my child was first born he wouldnt eat very much and then when he did eat he would cry with a belly ache because he was gassy. I tried two different formuals before trying the enfamil gentease and I am telling you if I know then what I know now I would have went to this after the one they sent him home with from the hospital. I does take a couple of weeks to get them straitened out where you can tell if this working so dont think after a day it isnt working I saw massive changes in the first two weeks my baby was happier.
