When I purchased my digital camera, I made a conscious decision to also purchase rechargeable batteries and a battery charger so that I didn't add more disposable batteries to a landfill. Not realizing that there may be a big difference in what brand of rechargeable batteries I bought, I purchased Energizer Rechargeable 2000mAh AA batteries and the charger that goes with them. Big mistake.

I use my digital camera on an almost daily basis so I need dependable batteries. I thought that's what I was getting with Energizer Rechargeable batteries. However, soon after using my brand new batteries, they were losing their charge after less than 30 minutes of use, sometimes even less! I always had to make sure to have the other two back up batteries with me and often used them. It got to the point where I was also bringing the charger with me to plug into my van!

Thinking that I needed to buy new rechargeable batteries, I once again purchased a package of size AA Energizer Rechargeable...
...

The quick charger charges batters in a hour. It takes less time than most and last very well. I have had this charger and batteries for more than a year and they are still working well. I bought another set for my kids this year. Saves a lot of money buying batteries and helps reduce waste which in turn will help our environment....
