After purchasing the energizer rechargable batteries, I was not sure if the investment was worthwhile. i mean, I could get other batteries for about a third of the cost for these, and they might be more convenient to use. However, I was pleasently surprised with the ease of use this battery option offers. It takes an hour or two to charge, but after that it is ready to go without any more hassles. I think that each battery has a 30 - 40 time rechargable life, so that is a lot of batteries that won't be thrown away....

kid-kansas says "Now there is an easy way to recharge those batteries" about Energizer - AA/AAA Battery Charger

I would have a hard time counting all the gadgets and gizmo's in my house that use either AA or AAA batteries. So a charger was the ideal purchase for my household, one that comes with 4 batteries is a plus. The Energizer charger comes in an array of packages, since I use AA batteries more I buy the one with AA batteries only.

How it works

The Energizer battery charger slides open and closed and the wall plug folds out of the way when not in use. With the flick of a finger it goes from AA to AAA mode. The batteries slide in rather simple and for my arthritic hands that is a plus in my book. It has an indicator light that comes on when you first plug it in and goes out when the batteries are charged. Some batteries must be fully discharged or they develop a memory to them. Which means they may not......
