A little about me first: I'm a 28 yr old single male. I am very choosy on which movies I purchase and which ones I view. Uplifting movies that are unique and bring new perspective are my favorite.

This is one such movie. It begins with a colorful, stereotypical Disney "Cinderella" who believes that life is very simple, and all you need to know about a potential suitor is what's in his heart. This is true, but there is more to it than that, as she would soon find out when she is abruptly torn from her animated life in fairy-tale land to the harsh streets of New York City.

At the opposite end of the "fairy-tale happily ever-after" scale is the gentleman that takes her into his home when he has pity on her. As he learns that there is such thing as a fairy-tale happily-ever-after romantic love, she comes to learn that loving someone is more than just sharing goals. It's being able to carry on a loving, intelligent conversation with the person.

Enchanted was a really good movie for the family. It is similar to Cinderella, Snow White, and other similar movies. This movie starts out in animation but soon heads into the real world. It tells the story about a young woman who has an evil stepmother who has plans to keep her from marrying the prince. She manages to be sent to the real world, with the Prince following her. In a comedy of errors, she finds true love with a father, instead of the Prince. All works out in the end. I so much enjoyed this movie and now have it on DVD.

Enchanted is a very well done tongue-in-cheek live action takeoff of the Disney princess movies. It is very light and charming and a great movie for all ages. A wonderful modern day fairy tale. The music was catchy and not disappointing. I enjoyed the cartoon at the beginning and thought it was a clever way to begin the movie....

Enchanted

I watched this Enchanted on demand out of pure boredom and I couldn't believe I actually got into it. It was a touch of old Disney with a modern day twist. I really got into this movie- it had comedy, it had emotion, it even had a feel good story to tell. Mildly cheesy, but it eye catching and attention grabbing. Excellent for any age.

You can't help fallig in love with Giselle. She's a fairy tell princess who finally fines who charming prince gets pushed into a well by a evil witch and than ends up in modren day New York. Where she tries to find someone to help her find the castle and her prince. The only person who helps her is a lawyer and his daughter. She starts to fall in love with him. But doesn't kow if the happy ever after can live in this modren world. Amy Adams singing just touchs your heart. She was the perfect perso to play the part.. The only thing is she wasn't a princess really, just a girl in the forest.....

This movie was delightful for myself (mom), my mother (grandma), my 8 year old daughter and my 4 year old daughter. My 4 year old got a little scared in two parts - both involving the mean witch, but otherwise, she loves the movie. The songs are very catchy and when I hear them I sing them the rest of the day. Amy Adams is adorable - funny and touching. She wears plenty of pretty princess dresses for little ones to admire too. Patrick Dempsey is dreamy of course. I also love that the movie shows an empowered princess who saves her prince in the end. I wouldn't change anything about this movie....

My 3 year old daughter didn't want to watch this movie because it has a scary lady on the cover. The loving mother that I am, I forced her to watch it! She really liked it....except for when the evil step mother was in the picture. Then, she turned off the tv (sound was still on) so that she didn't have to see it. We missed a lot of the beginning and most of the very end.

I don't know why the scary parts have to be SO scary! I did like how it was a general spoof on all disney princess movies and how they acknowledged some of the more "WTF?!!?" things in the movies. Like how she made a dress from his curtains and the birds and rats...hilarious!

We love this movie "Enchanted". Two of my daughters at college purchased it to watch over and over again. It is definitely a feel good movie even though the ending was somewhat strange. It has a definite Disney animation feel to it and is pleasant almost the whole way through except for the scene on the roof right before the end. The music, singing and dancing is great. It is cool to see the princess theme in modern New York! It does have the typical expected and needed happy ending!

Enchanted was a mix of all the family movies I enjoy. It was something new and entertaining. It brought me back to all my chilhood favorites. I watched this movie many times, and I am still not tired of watching it. The acting was good, and the storline was interesting. Everyone with kids should see this movie....

A group of us ladies went to see this movie in the theatre. I have to admit, I am a big McDreamy fan ..after all he is from Maine. Back to the movie...all of us ladies loved it. When it was released to dvd we rented it. My daughter who is nine years old - loved it just as much as her mama. I was a little concerned about my son seeing the scary dragon scene at the end of the movie...but he was fine with it. This movie is a fantiastic family flick...or just as a good for a gathering of ladies....

When I saw the previews for Enchanted I wasn't so sure it was going to be number one on my charts but I must say, the story line, the way they managed to put all of those Disney films, princess stories and roll them into one, makes that a number one hit in my book!

The beginning starts off great, you think you are in a typical Disney cartoon movie, then BOOM! You come to reality, with the modern world, it flows through great.

It will even set you to tears, even the non-romantics, it is hilarious, silly and sweet. I watched it in theaters and then went out and bought it and my daughter had me watching it over and over.

Besides that the Kings and Queens ball tops it all, total romance, puts it out there for all ages, boys and girls, men and women. My daughter wouldn't stop watching! So I must say if you want to watch a good Disney movie, Enchanted is a good one to watch, you could definately watch it again and again!

Absolutly loved this movie. Got a kick out of the poor squirel and all he did for his princess. Mcdreamy was a good cast in this along with Amy adams. Enchanted was enchanting....

The movie Enchanted was the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. My son and daughter enjoyed it very much. It had something for everyone, for the boys the fighting, for the girls the beautiful dresses. I know we will be definately watching this movie again....
