this car seat has a high back on it that makes it comfotable for children. they will be easily able to fall asleep without having to keep moving around untill there comfortable.it is very safe with the straps and the way its built. it would be a good carseat if you were to get in an accident. it stays in place and there is nothing that a child could get hurt on. it is easily installed. and it looks great.

I bought the Eddie Bauer deluxe car seat at a yard sale because it was cheaper there and I found out that I would never go back to another kind of car seat! I love the fact that it reclines and I don't have to worry about a child's head falling front while they are sleeping! I plan to buy the high back booster one like the regular sized ones for my daughter asap!

From Nana's perspective: I really like this carseat. When my daughter first expressed interest, I thought she was nuts! It's rather expensive. But first grandchild and all...she got it! My first impression was it's rather heavy. But that's because it has a nice solid base. It doesn't scoot around on the seat. I really liked the fact that it reclines. We used that option every day when he was an infant. The harness strap is rather difficult in the winter with the snow pants and all. That really should be redesigned. Well, he's 5 now and yesterday went into a booster. Time to pass it on to the new baby. It has cleaned up very well over the past 5 years. The travel cup holders have come in really handy. What a accessorie to have on a carseat. As well as the adjustable arm rests. Like a little recliner in the backseat! The straps are easy to adjust as they grow. I love the Summit! I drive all the time. Due to my work I have to drive alot at night and since I'm usually the one to pick my son up from the baby sitters house he falls asleep in the car. I use to have a problem with his neck falling forward when he would fall asleep in the car on the rides back and forth. As a parent when you see that all you want to do is pull over and fix the problem, but as soon as you move your hand your childs head falls forward again... Fed up I bought a new carseat. I love the Summit! I will never but a carseat again that won't recline! My child is six years old now and I can't even try to think about getting something different. Although it is about two years old it has held up great! When it looks like it needs to be cleaned I just take it apart and toss it in the washer! This car seat has been awesome! Our 1st boy is now 4yrs old and ready to graduate to a booster. Our 2nd boy is on the way and will be using this same seat! It is very easy to use, has child safety anchors for the anchor wires in the bite-area of a rear suv/truck seat, as well as a rear shelf anchor for the back seat of a car; it has a cupholder that folds out on the side; it has insertable parts for etter fit of smaller or larger child as it ages; everything come out to be easilly washed in the washing machine...GREAT PRODUCT!!!...

Love this car seat - have used it with my toddler from his first birthday until present (he's now 2 years old). The seat is so easy to install in the car and has both car seatbelt and latch systems. I can take the cover off to wash, and put it back on very easy.

There are cushy pads on the seatbelt straps, and pillow parts that you can remove as the baby grows bigger. There are two modes - one allows the carseat to recline (great when child is smaller, or when sleeping, and the second one hold the baby sitting straight up.

My baby's head does droop when he falls asleep and I wish there was a way to prop it up so it doesn't look so uncomfortable for him, but I'm not sure what a carseat could do to prevent that. This is my only complaint.

I put alot of trust in this car seat my daughter has the same one, and i love it and so does she, she finds it very comfortable, especially since she falls asleep every time in the car, and its very secure and safe. I have not experienced any problems with this car seat whatsoever!...

although the seat was easy to install and the latch system did work, my son was very slouched over when sleeping. His poor little head and neck was put in a terrible position. Even with the recliner back and the headrest, his position was still horrible. I was afraid to get rear ended with the way his head slumped. Used it for one week and returned it. Much happier with the new one we bought. ...

When we purchased a car seat we looked at many different kinds and ending up buying this one. It has all the safety features you could want, while still being extremely comfortable for your child. It was a bit more expensive than other models but we felt it was worth it, after all it is our children we are talking about. It has a very nice look and cleans up without much trouble. I would highly recommend this car seat to anyone in the market for one. You won't be sorry you bought it!...
