As always EA Sports comes along and revises a game and took its 2008 version up graded and made it easier for us older people to play. The opening graphics with the stadiums and crowds and fireworks etc., are so real- really like it! the only thing I might change is to some how make the changing of the plays at the line, but that might just be us older people. There really is nothing but good to say about this John Madden sport game because if you love football you will love this game. From the coin toss to the final gun and the victory celebration at the super bowl when you win it all! Color is good-graphics are up graded wanting more again for the 2010. As a older person sure are glad the QB vision is gone as never really got that aspect of the game- but do wish it was easier just a little.last but not least I wish they would stop the feature where as the game goes on certain players gain power--they player playing should be gaining the knowledge not a advantage by a computer- but a...

Maden 08 for Wii is totally awesome. It is like your watching a real football game. The players look so real. They also installed new features like play online, or practice tutorials, and more. It may be a little expensive but its totally worth it. I play this game with my family and friends and they really enjoy it. I can't wait till Maden 10 will get released.

If you understand how to play and what to do. You will always win without giving the other team one touchdown. Now with the new party mode you can play with your family and friends. There is also a Maden 09 All Play available in stores right now but I've never played it. If you have it just write a review about it. Anyway maden 08 is much better in Wii than any other game console. You get to do tricks my doing hand movements on the Wii remote.

This year for Christmas one of the game i got was Madden 2008 for Xbox 360. This version differs from past year additions be changing the Point challenges on the Xbox 360 gamer cards. It's a really easy game to beat in a weekend or two with little or no difficulty. Great game if you looking for a real quick 1000 points. ...

Madden 08 honestly disappointed me. I thought it would be a great game when I got it for Christmas last year, but it sucked.

For one, John Madden is barely featured. What's the point of namin' the game after someone if they aren't even in it?

Secondly, special powers? Who the heck came up with that idea? OK, I admit it's a good idea, but it's used badly in this game.

Third of all, the graphics. I think they overdid it a bit. Even though the players look like their real-life counterparts, created characters only have a few facial options.

And lastly, the players are like robots. Even when you play on All-Madden, it's easy to score on people.

Don't get me wrong, Madden 08 is a great game, it just needs some improvements. So I give Madden 08 3 stars out of 5.

***By the way, there is a glitch that causes the player Tyjuan Hagler on the Colts to turn into a robotic looking humanoid. Just lettin' ya know.***

Maden 08 for wii is an awesome game. It is like your playing a real football game. If you have the game for another game conson but not for wii then you havent seen nothin yet. In a wii you can see cooler graphics and lots of more features. There is even a family play. This game has lots of features like downloading games opening accounts and much more. If you trust me and buy this game you wiil have lots of fun.

Madden 08 was a weclome upgrade from the previous years try with improved fluidity of player movement as well as an improved user interface with the passing game. Everything else was fairly similar so I suppose I will hit on a few of my complaints--

1) Far too many turnovers, INTs and fumbles were very inflated

2) In certain situations it becomes nearly impossible to stop a 3 yard run, even if you stack the box with eight players

3) EA very much needs to improve its online system--they could take a lesson from 2ksports setup.

Madden 2008 is hands down one of the greatest games I have ever played. The graphics improve every year and 08, in my opinion is the best yet! You can start a franchise, play online, or play with historical teams. When I first got this game, I literally played for hours each day. It provides competitiveness, fun, and excitement. I recommend it for anyone who likes to play video games. It is also great for parties, hang outs, or even when your bored. I usually play video games according to the current sport season, but I play Madden 08 all year long!...

If you have 2007's version on any platform, I'd simply wait it out and see if 2009 makes major leaps and bounds. Otherwise you're paying a hefty price for a roster update really. Some nice new additions but nothing worth the money. It is definitely the Madden franchise, which is nice. Repeating myself though, 2007 was just as good so save your money.

I'll never forget getting Madden for Christmas when I was 13. Over the next twelve years the day Madden came out became some what of a personal holiday. Madden 08 is a solid game and if you're looking for a major overhaul then don't bother wasting your money. If you're like me and you just need updated rosters and the opportunity to have the new rookies in a fantasy draft then this version should do just fine. The team at EA has completely revamped the tackling structure in Madden 08. No longer will you see the same animated tackle over and over again. This years tackling system is probably the coolest new feature and you will see some ridiculous hits in this years game. The other new feature I've really enjoyed are the pre snap settings on both offense and defense. You can now call just about anything at the line and while it can be a little overwhelming at first, it definitely helps the experience. The biggest complaint I have with this years version is the have pretty much done......
