Brightening Eye Shadow</strong> offers four complementary shades that are designed to be worn together but can also be worn individually for a less intense look.</p> <p>The eyeshadow quad is very small; you get a tiny amount of each shadow, but for $1, how can I complain? The colors themselves are very nice and glide on smoothly, but toss the applicator it comes with, it's pretty worthless.</p> <p>The shadows also have a hint of shimmer to them which is actually quite nice and is subtle enough for daytime wear. The shadow seems fairly crease resistant, but they do not have the staying power of more expensive eyeshadows. The colors that they use in the palettes go so well together, and really compliment my eye color. They are not the longest lasting products, but there are easy ways to fix that.The shimmer in the colors is really subtle too, so it looks really good, and not heavy on. The little brush that comes in the package is so handy too, it fits right inside, so you always can have a brush right there when you need it to apply the eye shadows, like when I'm in the car on the way to go to school in the morning.</p>... E.L.F. mineral make up is about $15 for a set (or buy individually for $5) including brushes. They have such good selection of colors to compliment different skin tones and eye colors. I find them non-irritating and long lasting (surprisingly). Most importantly, you're getting a lot for very little money. Even if you don't plan on using it for a long time, buy it to try the different color combinations or use it for travel. </p>... This eyeshadow, however, was none of these. It really does brighten up my blue eyes. The earth tones compliment my skin, and the slight shimmer is not annoying. This shadow is perfect for someone with little time to get ready and needs that extra boost. The one bad aspect however, is that it does not last that long. The shadow usually wore off on me after 2 hours. I sugest dabbing a bit of concealer or foundation on your eyelids first, then apply the powder. That keeps it on a bit longer. The price was reasonable as well; only 2 dollars!</p>...
