I am not big on donuts, but I love stopping at Dunkin Donuts in the morning for some great tasting coffee. I just get the regular coffee and it tastes great. It is not too strong and just a little sweet. This is a great place to go for a morning wake up beverage because they not only have regular coffee, but they have lattes, mochas and of course donuts. I love the DDSmart menu that offers foods that are lower in fat and calories, like muffins and flatbread sandwiches. This is a store that listens to its consumers by offering great beverages and foods that are perfect for grabbing when you need an energy boost or something fast. I like the multigrain bagels for breakfast with a cup of their fresh and hot coffee....

There's not a Dunkin' Donuts place near where I live, but I did buy their brand of coffee at the store. It was bitter and not worth the extra cost....

I am pleased to see dunkin donuts adding more items to their menu, such as the pizzas and the wraps. The food is suprisingly good considering the deal you are getting. The beverages are also wonderful. I particularly enjoy their hot chocolate selections....

My expereinces with Dunkin Donuts are variable. Some days, my order is perfect. But mosy days, it's off. I am a cream only girl. But half of the time, they cna't get that part right! The cream to coffee ratio will be way off, sugar is added, etc. More often than not, the coffee has a burnt flavor that I can't get past. I have located one DD that seems to be more off the ebaten path and have less trouble with this store. My orders are correct and done quickly vs. others. I switched to Starbucks exclusively for months but am now back to going to both. However, with the economy the way it is, I only go once a wee k now instead of 4-5 times....

AWESOMEMOM88 says "Love the coffee, but avoid the donuts" about Dunkin' Donuts

As many of you have guessed, I am a huge Dunkin Donuts coffee fan, but the same can't be said of their donuts....I do have a preferred type, should I eat them (which is rare) I find their donuts to be very heavy, very greasy, and strange stuff happens to these things if they have been out of the oven for more than a few minutes. They literally morph into something that you could probably use as landscaping bricks. And usually, a trip to Dunking donuts which includes the donut part of the experience ends up with acid reflux later on...(Don't have this reaction with other donut shops-just Dunkin) I do think that they have pretty decent muffins, but kind of pricey. Forget the drive up window, because I swear you could make your own donuts faster than you would get through the line at the window. And remembering what I said about donuts morphing....well while you are waiting in line at the drive up window, the clock is ticking on those babies-you may well get a bag with a biscuit......

I used to be a Starbuck's junkie, but Starbuck's changed. The people there were no longer the ones I had come to love and the coffee there is not very good and is overpriced. Then I started going to Dunkin' DOnuts. The people that I see on a daily basis are always friendly, remember my drink or drinks, and treat me really well. Even the owner of the local one knows my drink and knows me somewhat personally. They make a concentrated effort to smile and make my day. I feel like although it is a corporation, it is more like a little corner coffee shop in a small town and I love that feeling. ...

A couple of glaring reasons I say not so good. 1. almost all locations staff doesn't listen, often get orders wrong, and don't seem to care .2. total lack of consistancy latte ordered today in one store may be delicious ordered tomorrow in the same or another store too horrible to even drink.
...

I have savored the taste of Dunkin's Caramel Mocha Swirl latte .... when I have been able to purchase it, But that is not often, because often, the staff can't get the order right OR I have to wait in line for 10 minutes while they stand by chatting among themselves.

I realize that these are franchise operations and are managed independently of the corporate office. However, when you have had bad experiences with several different locations, you have to wonder what is wrong with the company in general. Here are two of my most recent experiences:

Visited a Dunkin Donuts location at approximately 11 a.m. Should not have been a tremendously busy time, since breakfast rush was over and most people don't go to Dunkin Donuts for lunch. I don't like using the drive through, so I opted to walk inside to be waited on. When I arrived at the counter, no one was in front of me AND no one was serving the counter. There was one young man working the drive through and there were two...
...

bittersweet says "Biggest ripoff since Starbucks" about Dunkin' Donuts

Where do I begin. I had a DD card. I pass 3 locations, all owned by same person, on my way to work. Out of 25-30 visits a month 10 were wrong. How difficult is a coffee with no sugar and cream. I revised the way I ordered it thinking they may finally get it. ex. coffee just cream, coffee cream, no sugar, coffee cream on side (got no cream, sugar on side) WRONG!! The last straw was I ordered a bagel, plain, I was to the point where I stated, PLAIN bagel, NOTHING on it, NOT Toasted, JUST throw it in a bag. Well that day I pulled away and there was butter on it. By the way WHO puts a slab of cheap butter on a bagel anyway?. I went back and I had paid with my DD card. The woman told me she could not refund my 70 cent different on the plain bagel. Not on my card or in cash. I just left as I was in a rush fo work. I called the 800 number on the card and asked them if this was some new form of extortion. They refunded my money on the card, gave me a 5.00 credit......
