im not to much into regular coffees i prefer cinnmon spice coffee now you talk about awesome,try it you will never turn back to regular again

While I like Dunkin Donuts Original Blend Ground Coffee since it does brew up a good cup of coffee, I was disappointed that it doesn't quite taste like a cup of coffee from a Dunkin Donuts store.

You've got some hints of the store-bought coffee, but it just seems that in my coffee makers, the coffee doesn't taste like the store's. In the end, you're left with a good cup of coffee, but one that's not really any better or worse than several other medium blends from other coffee companies.

That's okay with me though, since I do like this coffee. It's a medium roast blend so it's not too bold nor too weak. The blend is also quite smooth, so it doesn't have that bitter, bold bite that some coffee blends might have.

The Dunkin Donuts Original Blend Ground Coffee tends to be a good all around coffee. I have used it for coffee in the morning and in the evening. There's enough kick to wake me up in the morning and it's smooth enough to go well with dessert in the evening.

Buying Dunkin Donuts coffee to brew at home saves time and money. They offer whole bean or ground, decaf or regular and even offer flavor varieties in 16oz bags. Often times they do have sales but not very consistantly. It would be nice if they offered a punch card system as they do when you buy cups of coffee. Nothing beats the flavor of Dunkin Donuts coffee....

Several years ago, one of my daughters was working at a local (Stamford, CT) Starbuck's clone type of coffee bar. I had been away for a few days on a business trip and as I got closer to home I thought I might drop into the coffee bar to surprise her.

When I entered the place she was nowhere in sight. As I turned to leave I heard "Hey Mr. Zee, she'll be back in a few minutes. She's on a mission and as soon as she gets back she's on break."

So of course I waited. In just a few minutes she returned carrying a small carton. Its contents? Cup after cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Huh?

Yes, as it turns out, the entire staff was waiting for their DD coffee. "But you work in a coffee house", I said puzzled.

"Yeah, but Dunkin Donuts coffee tastes better", they chimed. Guess I wasn't the first to make this observation. I did notice that they quickly transferred the coffee into cups proclaiming "Coffee Tree".

My Take

I've never been overly impressed with Starbuck's (or Starbuck's Clone)...

Dunkin' Donuts makes a great cup of coffee, and now it's available at the local market. I have been able to duplicate the great taste of their brew in my own kitchen. It took a few tries to get the actual scoop right, but now it's consistent. It is fortunate for me since DD is not close to home, nor convenient on my trip to work....

Close to work, we have Dunkin Donuts, Caribou and Starbucks all within shooting distance during a break or lunch....And the highest percentage of coffee cups from take out by far is Dunkin Donuts, which is really bizarre when you consider it is the least expensive of the three. And occassionally somebody will treat and get a bag of ground coffee from Dunkin donuts for the machine in the break room, and lots of exchanges of Dunkin Donuts coffee gift cards and bags of coffee for Secret Santa at the holidays or as a birthday treat for co-workers. It is really universally liked. And, our church is truly a bunch of coffee hounds, and heaven forbid there not be hot and rich coffee in time for adult Bible class, or that a school event be sponsored where coffee does not factor into the refreshment lineup, or a committee meeting without java...(decaf is OK after 5:00 PM, but that is about as far as anyone there can concede) And still the greatest treat if for somebody to bring in Dunkin...

this is a a really great cup of coffee at a good price. a lot less expensive than Starbucks. and better service and more consistence making of the coffee. all dunkin doughnut store, appear to use the same brand. and there is not much different in the taste or flavor of the coffee. a good cup of coffee for less money....

I never really drank coffee until I moved to the northeast. And then I tried Dunkin Donuts coffee. I love the smooth taste and the service I get at every location is always friendly, and best of all, they Get It Right! When I ask for extra cream and Splenda, I know whether I am in the White Mountains or in Boston, I am going to get exactly what I want. As a child my "comfort food" was chicken noodle soup and a tuna fish sandwich...as an adult, it is without a doubt, Dunkin Donuts coffee....

The french vanilla is very good. It's so sweet and flavorful you don't need to add sugar. I'd never had this brand of coffee until last year, but after the first cup I was hooked. I'm so glad they are selling it at more stores now....

I live in MA where there is a Dunkie's every three blocks. I love this place and now I can get it at the supermarket - perfect! Their coffee is smooth and light which is how I like it in the morning. It's a no-nonsense type of coffee and tastes great....

I used to be addicted to Dunkin Doughnuts coffee from the actual doughnut shops, but now that they have started closing all of them down around here I have been in desperate need of a replacement coffee. Although this is good coffee, it is no where near as good as it was from the shop....

Basically all I drink is Dunkin Dounuts. If it does not say DD than I do not drink it. The taste is the best taste of coffe with its richness and boldness and sweetness all mixed into one coffee bean. This goes for decaf as well....

We were on a road trip in MO a couple of years ago and stopped at a Dukin Donut shop that was next to our hotel.

I thought the coffee was very good but thought maybe it was just the setting. Now that you can get the beans and make your own coffee at home I now know it wasn't the setting. This coffee is wonderful. I recomend it to everyone.

I love the rich robust taste of the Dunkin Donuts original blend. So many people say they are crazy over an overrated (in my opinion) Starbucks, but I think, if they were blindfolded and given the two kinds of coffee to taste, they would go with the DD :)
