This soap, while initially appearing expensive, is very economical as it is VERY concentrated. I use it for everything, besides body soap in the shower and hand washing, I use if for dishes, general cleaning, cleaning the floor, car, leather couch. mix it with vinegar and water to clean windows, and add it to my laundry soap recipie.

It's smells great and is good for the environment too!

Dr Bronners Peppermint Pure-Castile soap is clean, fresh and super tingly! It seems like when you are using it that it wakes up your senses! The scent is Peppermint, fresh and clean! Makes you feel like you are squeaky clean! I used it without watering it down in the shower. It doesn't have a lot of lather so if you like lots of lather this is not for you. However if you like less lather then this is the right product for you! It feels lightweight and smells clean. Doesn't leave a soap scum film and it is not hard to rinse off. I noticed that it cleanses well without feeling like a layer of skin has been peeled off! One thing to note is that the product is somewhat runny and a little goes a long way! I bought this product at Trader Joes and also at a Spa. The better deal was at the Trader Joes, less expensive. I have seen it at other local healthstores as well. I did not find anything faulty about this product and would highly recommend it to others.

Dr. Bronner's soap is amazing! I first used it about 10 years ago, and recently rediscovered it. The big bottle is a concentrated formula that you dillute with water to make it go a very long way. It has peppermint oil that makes your whole body tingle and cool, and your lungs feel as if they've opened up.

I like to use it in the morning to help pick me up if I'm tired, or even if not. It is also great to use because it is fair trade (promotes sustainability & not just out to make money), made of vegan ingredients, and in a post-recycled bottle that is able to be recycled again. All of Bronner's liquid soaps have a castile soap base which is derived from plant sources versus animal, arguably better for the environment. It also boasts of the many uses across the bottle, including hair & body. It also says it works for stain remover, which I highly doubt. If it did, I don't think I'd want it to double as a body wash.

After using many many cleansers..soaps and fun bubble bath products I saw my skin become drier and drier. While searching the web for more natural products I found a site about the safety in our skin products and what type of chemicals were in them. So the hunt was on to find more natural products. A trip to our local natural health food store came next where I found a large display of Dr. Bronners soaps, both in hand soap and the liquid soaps. I bought a small travel size at first and I was not disappointed with Dr. Bronners soap. My skin WAS not dried out after showering . The next trip out I bought a few others fragrances of Dr. Bronners soaps, liking the tea tree one..while it does not have a great smell like the peppermint one does it does work well as a anti fungal soap. Weird as that may sound..if I am around anything that I think might need heavy duty washing up after.ie being around animals, working in the soil I like to use that one. This is the best soap I have ever used and now the only soap I use. It is such a wonderful feeling to bath with Bronners's Pepperment Castile Soap. It makes my skin feel so tingly and clean with no residue left on me. Thumbs Up!

I'm so happy to review this product! Dr. Bronners Peppermint liquid soap is a lifesaver! I discovered it a few years ago & keep finding new &exciting things to clean with it. I think peppermint is the most popular scent, as it is usually what you see in stores. Even trader joes carries it. They use certifies organic oils in the soaps too! This is one REALLY minty soap! If used in the shower, it leaves you super cool & tingly! It can be used as toothpaste as well, although i prefer traditional toothpaste better, but it is great for travel or camping since it can be used for face, body , hair, teeth, dish-washing, clothes-washing, floor cleaning, car cleaning etc... There are endless uses for this great soap! Just read the bottle & you'll get a few ideas too! The company is certified fair trade now as well & don't test any products or ingredients on animals. I love buying products from socially responsible companies! Plus, it's the BEST!

This is so refreshing, smells clean, and makes you feel very clean. I also love the fact that a little goes a long way so it is very cost effective. One bottle can last a really long time. Everytime I have a guest over that uses it, they always, always ask, "what is that stuff, it's smells so yummy!" I won't use anything else.

When I was a kid my mother was a 60's hippy chick, and MADE us use Dr.Bronner's soap for "EVERYTHING". We literally used it for our hands, face, shampoo, even to brush our teeth with. Years later I still appreciate this multi-purpose natural soap and keep it in my shower. Even though I no longer brush my teeth with it, I keep it my shower and can count on it waking me up when I've pressed the snooze button one too many times.

Dr. B's Peppermint Pure-Castile soap has been in the family since as long as I can remember. I had ezema when I was a kid and this really helped soothe it when I took a bath. It smells so good and extra healthy. You can find this in the health food and it is very inexpensive. I give it such a large rating because it is true to it's name....

What a great line of soaps, and Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap is my favorite. It lathers up wonderfully (great for travel since you only need to bring a small amount) can be used on the face, body and hair and smells wonderful without being overpowering. Dr. Bronner's soaps are pretty darn painfil when you get them in your eyes so watch out, I wouldn't use it on babies or children for that reason. The peppermint leaves you feeling cool and invigorated after using it - a great pick me up in the morning!...

Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure Castle Soap is the only soap that I have used since my children were small. They are now in there 20's and they still use it as well. I wash my hair with it; to shave under my arms; wash my vegetables & fruits; and to remove my face make up. When take a shower in the morning I get a burst of energy by the wonderful aroma of the peppermint smell. I love, love, love, Dr. Bronner's. I even researched the infamous Dr. Bronner to obtain his biography because I wanted to know what the sayings on the bottles meant.

I husband even sneaks and use the soap at times. My daughter, who is a college student calls me all the time to say, "mommy, I am out of peppermint soap." She loves it. My grands love to take baths in it. They immediately fall asleep when they are dried off and snuggled into their pajamas and in the bed.

Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap is the greatest! It helped to clear up my dry skin almost immediately-it is the one of the best soaps I have used in a long time. It has a nice refreshing smell that awakes my senses when I shower or bathe with it. It has helped to clear up my skin problems, and I think everyone should try it out! The only problem I have had with it is trying to find it in my local grocery store-I usually have to go to a vitamin type store to purchase it, but it is worth it to me!...
