Dr Fiss does more than any other dentist will ever do I guarantee you that. His work ethic is top notch, his experience is incomparable. I have never met a man so driven to satisfy his patients and make time for us as Dr Fiss does day in day out. I have hectic hours and work is so demanding so I have the tendency to be late (unintentionally) so I piss off a lot of doctors dentists and I ended being charged with out being seen-total BS.Then I went to Dr Fiss who understood my position and scheduled times around my schedule not the other way around. Saturday appointments aren't bad either, but I finally some one who treats me as if I am the most important person and he delivers through and through.

I told Dr. Fiss that I was having pain in one of my teeth and could he take a look at it. He looked in my mouth and said, no, nothing wrong there. I thought, that's great. But I had an unsettling feeling as I left because although he promised me there was no problem, he hadn't taken an x-ray. Shouldn't he have done that, I wondered. So a month goes by and the tooth hurts even more. I didn't know what to do. Dr. Fiss said there was no problem. But it's a problem for me. So I call Dr. Fiss again and he tells his receptionist to tell me to see another dentist - a specialist I guess.

So I went to this other dentist and she takes an x-ray and said, you have a root canal in that tooth already so I can't help you. I guess she was just a root canal doctor. She said, go to this other dentist, and maybe he can save your tooth. So I go to another dentist and he looks at an x-ray and said, your tooth has got to go. And he removed it.

I wondered later, if Dr. Fiss had just taken an x-ray like these...

I recently visited Dr. Fiss' office for a first time visit and was greatly pleased!! I am one who has always been afraid of going to the Dentist because they would always yell at me about my home care. The hygienist I saw was very pleasant and comforting about my fear. I hadn't been to the dentist in awhile and just quit smoking so needless to say my teeth were not that great. She made sure that she didn't make me feel "bad" about the condition of my teeth and was very thorough with my cleaning. I was dreading the whole experience but it made it so much more comfortable while sitting in a corner view with windows all around and being able to watch a baseball game. It completey took my mind away from any bad thought about being at the dentist. I will now be a loyal patient and wont dread having my teeth cleaned....

My experience at Dr. Fiss' office was horrible!

I was in the waiting room for nearly 45 minutes as a first-time patient. You'd think they'd treat their new patients well so they'd come back. When I FINALLY got in, my hygienist was such a B$%*#! I probably brush and floss 3 times a day and take very, very good care of my teeth. I am always told how beautiful, straight, and white they are. The hygienist was so rough on my poor teeth, they were sore for two weeks! She was literally carving my gums and shoving insane amounts of floss between my teeth. Then, she had the audacity to ask me why I kept bleeding - repeatedly. I tried to be cordial, but finally I blurted out "I'm much more gentle on my teeth!" Then, I had to wait for Dr. Fiss to come examine my teeth for 50 minutes! Then he sat there asking me if I had ever considered veneers! I'm 26 years old! My teeth sometimes get mistaken for veneers, there is no way I need them!

Dr. Fiss was very compassionate to my situation when I chipped my two front teeth. He fixed me up like new and didn't over charge me. He is one of the best (if not the best) dentists in the Chicago Land area. Thank you Dr. Fiss for everything you're the greatest!!

From the front desk to the doctor's operatories, it is obvious that Dr. Fiss's primary concern is patient comfort and satisfaction.Any question that I cared to ask, whether it be about dental insurance,procedures to be done,or scheduling availability was answered promptly and honestly by either Dr. Fiss's knowledgable staff or the doctor himself.This dedication to detail and superior quality of the restorative work that the doctor does is indeed a rare find. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a highly skilled professional who "goes the extra mile".

The doctor was more worried about trying to make money than being a good dentist and has no interest in listening to what his patients have to say. He tried to sell me on the higher-end night guard that he can make a profit on - when I declined and asked for a traditional model - he gave it to me but it was fitted badly (gives me headaches). When I tried to make an appointment to get it fixed - he refused. I had to go to another dentist to have it fixed. I would not recommend him because he is more focused on making profit than listening to his patients.
