Dove Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer and Self Tanning Lotion Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer

Like so many others, I was really excited to try the Jergens and Olay moisturizer-based self tanners last year. Not only were they extremely easy to use, but both delivered nice natural results--none of this orange-y fake tan look. Unfortunately, neither smelled particularly nice. However, in steps Dove this year to the self-tanner field with their , and I was thrilled to discover that not only does it perform very well as a self-tanner, but it smells FANTASTIC!! The moisturizer has the consistency of lotion and is a tawny, peachy color. Its scent is unbelievable: sort of a light, fresh fruity scent. I never thought I would smell a self-tanner that smelled this good.
Like any self-tanner out there, this product does not contain sunscreen and does not protect against skin cancer. So be smart and use a sunscreen, protecting your skin and preserving the beautiful...

dove products is a very good product because the product stands by it's name.

because i was scapulae about it but from my experience with dove it is one of the best beauty products on the market today because the the price is very reasonable the quality of this merchandise lives up to it's name .

dove is very good for the whole family because what ever your skin type is dove has a product for it from dry skin to oily skin.

dove also has all other type of products like body-wash moisturizer and other type of lotion on the market today

I have been using Dove Energy Glow for a few years now. I seem to go back to it every summer. I am fair skinned and don't tan at all any more because of the scare of skin cancer. I am in my 50's & don't feel the need but still love to wear skirts & shorts alot. I like to have my legs have some light color as I get enough color on my upper torse by just being outside walking. My legs never seem to tan. I use the Dove product over some of the others because I like the way it covers naturally with an even sun glow. I recommend using the light color unless you have darker skin and build it up with more daily uses. The only draw back of this product is that it smells after you put it on. It is a strong chemical smell that stays with you until your next shower. I wish they would correct that. I put it on alot in the morning after showering before I go to work & smell it all day which makes me think others can smell it also. So I try to put it on before I go to bed because of...

Dove gradual tanning lotion is the best I've used so far that doesn't break the bank. It smells really nice and you can really see a glow in only one application but at the same time it doesn't streak or stain. I bought a bunch of these on liquidation at my local pharmacy, i hope it's not going to be discontinued!

When you first put the Dove lotion on it smells great and really moisterizes the skin. Once it sinks in though it becomes sticky feeling and smells bad. I use it about twice a week and it does a good job of making me look tanner. You have to be careful not to use it every day or the tan does start to get too dark and look fake.

I have VERY fair skin and Dove Energy Glow just provides the right amount of color without making me look painted! It is very hard to find one that is light enough for me. I can see how this product would not be effective on people who already are very tan. The only thing that I don't care for is the scent. It's not bad, just not me. Other than that one thing...this is the perfect product for my "special needs" skin!

I used to [gasp] use tanning beds. I know, I know! It's horrible. I knew I had to quit, but having a tan just makes me feel prettier and more summer-fresh year 'round. My friends have suggested self-tanners but I was afraid of those orange tiger stripes! It wasn't until my mom used this lotion in the dead of winter that I had to ask how she got a tan (she is a sworn enemy of tanning)! She told me about Dove's Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer and Self Tanner and so far, I'm hooked! I've been using the lotion for medium to dark skin for about two weeks and I am happy with the results!

Granted, the results you get from self-tanner are nowhere near what you'd get with the real sun or even a tanning bed, but it's safe and it keeps you from looking like Casper! Some drawbacks are that you have to be very careful when you apply it - remember to get the backs of your hands but be careful around your wrists and knuckles (otherwise it will concentrate there and get a little too dark). ...

This stuff is AMAAZING i love it the best part is i have really sensitive skin. i wouldnt be with out it. I love it because i dont tan i only burn all the other stuff turns me orange or doesnt help the way i need it to. Dove Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer and Self Tanning Lotion does an awesome job on makeing me look tan with out strikes or anything...

I love this!! I wish they invented a tanning lotion that lasts for 30 days..wouldn't that be awesome. Anyways, I use this tanning lotion on my body but in my opinion,i like banana boat sundial over this....

Dove lotion gives a yellow jaundis effect any any skin tone. It smells fine when you put it on but then horribly of the DHA chemicals hours after you put the lotion. It can streak if you aren't super careful and the smell stays with you for around 2 days even after 2 showers. It also leaves your skin slimey and slick (easily smudges) and comes off on sheets...mine were yellow the next day. It isnt the worst out there, loreal is probably the worst. I say the best I have used that is cheap is Jergens express glow in fair/light. It doesn't smell as bad and it rubs in better. It gives a little bit more natural of color. I have used so many cheap (7-15 buck) brands from cvs and safeway and such and the best is probably jergens. California Tan is more expensive but definitely worth it, it gives a brown color and doesn't smell that bad at all. I continue to use that. Others to check into which you might like are St. Tropez and Fake bake. Fake bake is my second favorite and they have a 'light'...

This is a great product for when you cannot get in the sun, such as when you work full time or those long winter months. This product will also help to save you from skin cancer. It gives you a nice summer glow and makes you feel better about yourself.

Dove Self Tanning Lotion

I love dove products so I tried this lotion and I liked more than the others. Like Nivea and jergens everything was turning orangemy clothes bath towel. This actually stays on. Just make sure you rub it in completely or it will leave streaks.

I have never been a sun-worshipper but always liked the look of a sun kissed glow. You know what I mean. Not the leather-look of someone who baked in the sun, but that healthy skin glow! I have very pale skin that can be very sensitive to heavy lotions and makeup.
