From the day I hit puberty my skin started to play tricks on me. When I was sixteen years old I developed acne on my face and back. I was very sad. You know how it is in high school where everybody has acne free skin but you and you sit there in a corner dreaming of a nice complexion. These were some of the worst years of my life. I menaged to get my acne under control with medication and some creams but they made my skin very dry to the point that it looked like it was aging faster than normal. I tried many different moistoruizers but none of the seems to do the job. They were mostly too greasy and would leave my skin wet and it didn't feel any better than too dry. One day my Mother brought home a bar soap Dove and told me to try it that it might help because her friend from work uses it and it works great for her. So I tried it and this was the one thing that was missing to make my skin perfect. the soap is so gentle and doesn't leave any residue an is not too drying. I use it even now...

Dove is the best beauty bar aound. It has a memorable scent, I can just about smell it on anyone using it. It has kept my skin soft and beautiful for years. What I appreciate the most is that when you use Dove in the tub, it doesn't kill the bubbles and thats a plus when you are relaxing in a bubble bath.

Because of the scent I had a hard time convincing my husband to use it. I would normally separate my Dove from his soap. One day I switched because I hated the way his hands looked fromhis line of work and I noticed that whatever was in the shower he would use.

Well he has not complained and his hands look wonderful.

So if it was up to me I would recommend Dove for anyone who wants those type of results for a price that can't be beat. The quality of Dove is a godsend for those watching their budget and want the same results as some things that are more expensive. I promise that you won't be disappointed.

I tried the dove beauty bar soap and it had such a wonderful aroma...it stayed with me throughout the whole entire day! My mom recommended it to me and I am so happy she did. My grandmother uses it as well. It is a great product.

I love this soap, especially the way it smells. My favorite scent, other than the original, is the pink or rosa variety. It's comparably priced to the average prices of the more affordable brands of soap. The brand occasionally has coupons and sometimes CVS or Walgreens will have a price break. It lathers really nicely in the shower and goes on smooth and leaves skin feeling soft. I think my most favorite thing about the soap is how feminine it makes me feel using it; I don't think of it as a very masculine brand though. Dove also has extensive lines where they make the scents in different mediums. If you like the smell of the soap they also make body spray, deoderant, shampoo, conditioner, lotion as well as body wash. I don't feel that it's really hydrating though, it does a decent job of not making skin feel too dried out, but I don't feel like my skin feels so hydrated after that I couldn't use some lotion in addition to this product. Overall it's a great product.

After few days your skin becomes, smooth, hydrate. And the best of this bar of soap its that its inexpensive. Its great for all skin types. It can actually play a factor with your confidence, because you know that you don't have to apply lotion through out the whole day like some of us do. The creamy sensation of this product its worth the price. And of course non-greasy sensation to worry about.

I have been using the Dove Beauty Bar Soap since I was a kid and love the resh clean scent. I love how it gets me clean on my sensitive skin. It doesn't break me out or make me itch and get dry skin. It's not too expensive qnd not greasy at all. We have dry skin and eczema in our family and I also use it on my daughter that has had eczema since she was three months old. She is now nine years old and uses Dove Beauty Bar Soap every day in the bath or shower. Her skin is much better when she uses Dove. Dove bBar soap comes in an easy to open box for easy use and it lasts for quite some time in the shower. Dove is a very friendly and environmentally safe company and I love how they have been around for so long. All the Dove products have very high quality and you can find them in any drugstore or grocery store or anywhere. It's great to have a company that cares so much about their consumers' skin.

The Dove Beauty Bar Soap can be for anyone. Busy mom's who don't have thousands or miracle elixers to soften dry skin, the college students who oh so need that extra boost of moisture in there skin, and even men love this. The secnt isn't too strong at all and it not too "girly" for everyone in the household to use. It smell very fresh and clean which is how a real soap is supposed to smell. It isn't at all everpowering and doesn't linger and bother allergies during the day. What lingers is the fresh powdery scent that douses your skin. Its as if your skin actually drinks this moisturizing soap right up. leaving you soft fresh and very touchable.The best part of all is this product doesn't cost you an arm and a leg, and you usually get two for the price of one. I have been a user and lover of Dove Beauty Bars since I was just a kid. I have very sensitive skin and this Dove is the only soap that does not leave me with itchy broken out skin. I always make sure to stock up when I find the larger packages on sale. I use it on my 1 and 3 year old also and their skin stays as baby soft as it should be. My husband has also taken a liking to it and he always smells so good and his skin feel so soft. Dove boasts 1/4 moisturizing cream per bar and I have to say that I can absolutely tell a difference from other soap bars. Dove Beauty Bar's lather is rich and feels so luxurious in the shower but rinses clean and doesn't leave that film on your skin that some other bars can. Dove is mild enough for the most sensitive skin, as I can agree with from experience. Dove can help improve your skins over all appearance and leaving looking radiant and more youthful than regular soap.

the dove beauty bar soap is the best bar of soap i have ever used in my entire life....... it makes you feel like your skin is as soft as some real soft skin........it really is the best bar of soap i have ever used......... most soap makes your skin feel very very very dry....... the first time i used this soap i was amazed, it felt like what soap should feel like.......... it smells great, looks great, and i imagine that is tastes great too............... hah hah hah. no but really it is wonderful.,...... i used to use another brand of bar soap and it always made feel like very very dry......... my skin is very sensitive so i have to use something that wont dry out my skin too much........ but now that i have started using dove i will never use anything else but dove beauty bar soap......... it really is the best soap out there.........better than anything that you might spend alot of money on. you really should give it a try

If you aren't too picky about wierd chemicals in your soap and like to buy them from a grocery store or Walmart/Target, this is your best bet! When I cant afford the nice handmade goatsmilk stuff with essencial oils (yeah thats the good stuff!), Dove is a good backup.

A bit critical, but it has to be said of their advertising - If you've seen the commercial for Dove on Tv that "This is the residue that other leading soaps leave behind... so use Dove," you've gotta see it for what it is - another faulty advertisement. The images are digitally created and Dove leaves behind as much residue as any other soap I'd imagine. In fact, most soap users WANT it to leave behind moisturizing "residue." What you really want is a soap that won't leave HARMFUL residue behind like all the wierd chemicals/parabens/whatevers that most soaps have.

If you look at the ingredients list of Dove, it's still not perfect, but it's probably a lot better than most of the other soaps on the shelves.

Let me tell ya a liitle something about me. I have the driest skin and the most senistive and it is hard finding a soap that works. before i found Dove i had tried several different brands with them only leaving me with my skin dry and skin irritated. So one day I decided to try Dove beauty bar for senistive skin.Being skepitical at first i came to find out that Dove beauty bar soap is one of the best soaps. It leaves you with a clean feeling and the softest skin all over. For the past 10 years this is the only soap I will use. I have had no problems with dry or irritated skin ever sense then. So whether your skin is dry or just senistive to soaps or perfumes this would defenitly be the soap for you. while the price may be a little higher it is not by much and it is defenitly worth the price to have beautiful, soft, non irritated skin. So next time your in the store try it and let me know what you think.
