The Dollar Tree Brand Pregnancy Test is only $1 and there is no reason why you should spend more for a reliable pregnancy test. I am expecting my sixth child and this brand pregnancy test has been correct each time. It is very simple to use and easy to read. The test recommends using your first morning urine, but I usually forget that part and it still has worked just fine. The test does not come with a cup for the urine, but any disposable cup will work. With my last pregnancy, I thought I had a miscarriage and so I needed to keep taking pregnancy tests for several weeks after to verify that. The tests kept showing a positive sign. I bought more tests and the same results developed. It turned out that the pregnancy tests were correct. I was pregnant and did not have a miscarriage. I was glad that I didn't have to spend a lot of money for those tests and I'm grateful for their accuracy.

I love the Dollar Tree store! SO many good things and so cheap. I don't make a lot of money so it's nice to be able to the get the things I need and not spend all my money.

I love that this test is so affordable. You don't pay for the fancy frills, but the results are accurate. The directions are simple and you get results in less than a minute. Instead of trying to pee on a stick for 30 seconds, you simply collect a small sample of urine and, using the dropper that is included, dispense 4 drops of urine onto the tester. It works just as well as all of the fancy tests but it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

It might not look as "pretty" as other more expensive tests out there but who really cares what a stick that you drop pee on looks like? It might be nice to have a "pretty" one when you actually get a positive result, but for all of the negative ones that you take and throw away, why waste $8 or $9 dollars when you can buy a test for $1 that does the exact same thing but doesn't cost you an arm and a leg?

I am very happy with this brand of pregnancy test and I will continue to buy them whenever I need one. I will say the one downside is that,...

My experience with the dollas tree brand pregnancy test is that it it accurate although it may know detect the pregnancy hormone as soon as more expensive pregnancy test. Also, If positive the indicator line may not show up dark or bold in color. Truthfully this pregnancy test compares closely to those at local health departments. A more expensive, even just one that falls in the middle of the price range is going to give you clearer results but generally you will get the same results. My experience was I took a dollar tree pregnancy test to soon and got a negative result. A couple days later I took a more expensive one and it said I was pregnant with a bold line. Just to be sure I took one more from the dollar tree and It also told me I was expecting with a fine line. Later the cheap one at the health department and the cheap one at my OB said positive with a medium line. They're all basically the same. They're their purpose is detecting the one hormone.

The urine dip stick is like a hard plastic which does not absorb anything. I didn't have very much money at the time so I bought three of them because I felt I was pregnant and didn't have the money to get a blood test done. All three of these either turned out inconclusive or negative. I went to the Dr. and had a test done and sure enough I was already well out of my first trimester! What a waste.

Well, I'm the mother of 6 children and I should say that out of all six children I used the Dollar Tree Brand Pregnancy Test five times, and it was right 5 out of 5 times that I used it! I wish there would have been this option with my first born. So many people waste all sorts of money on pregnancy tests and you can go down to the Dollar Tree and buy one for 1.00 and further more 10 for 10.00 if you wanted some on hand! I'm the type that thinks, "maybe I'm pregnant" and at this cost it doesn't hurt to just find out! It's not like you are wasting all sorts of money on the thing! It is very easy to take this test and the only draw back is you need something to use the potty in so that you can use their dropper that they provide, you don't potty on a stick! Other then that it's a great product and I would encourage anyone to buy it, that is if you think you are pregnant or wanting to be!

When dealing with pregnancy tests the most important concerns are reliability and accuracy, and you can usually count on the big name brands to give you that so you gladly spend the six to ten. How does the Dollar Tree brand of pregnancy test measure up at just one dollar for each single use test? I would skip the big name brands, save lots of money, and choose the Dollar Tree brand every time. They have a sensitivity rating of 32 mcg, the highest you can typically find in do-it-yourself tests, and by the way - that beats even the top brands of e.p.t. and first response! The drawback with the Dollar Tree brand is the lack of convenience, it is not an all-in-one test meaning that you can't just urinate directly on the test stick, put the cap back on and wait for three minutes. You actually have to have a separate, clean cup to urinate...

I have purchased pregnancy tests from the Dollar Store for myself, and also kept a "stash" in my medicine cabinet for friends who needed an easy way to get a fast result to such a big question; am I pregnant? All 4 of my children were confirmed with Dollar Store pregnancy tests, which was great for me, because having to pay $10.00 or more for one at a time, in some stores, two, was not affordable to me at the time. There were aspects of the test that werent as convenient for me as with more expensive tests; doesnt come with a cup to pee in (I have Dixie cups, so I worked that out), and if I checked too soon, it may come up negative.. but, being affordably patient, I didnt have to wait long for results I ultimately knew were positive. The "up-side" of that is that if I got a false negative, I didnt have to go spend another $10 to $20 to recheck in a couple of days. Ive had friends who were stressed out over thinking they might be pregnant, and couldnt afford to go out and buy a test, because...

Who needs to pay $10 on up to $30 on just a simple pregnancy test? I know that I don't have that many when you get down to it. That amount can go on grocerys! or a bill.

Yes if you Think you may be pregnant girls, Don't fret on price a $0.99 Pregnancy test will due just the same thing a $30.00 test will do!

Lets face it, with the more high priced amount one the only thing you are paying high prices for is .... the Name ! Yep name brand gives pregnancy test higher ratings,but higher prices and do the same thing that a cheapo does. They all have to be regulated. So why worry about an expensive one when you can get a cheap one from your local drug store,walmart,or even a dollar tree.

And Just a FYI girls. If you go get a free pregnancy test done at a clinic. Guess what ! ........ Those lovely test kits they use,Do you know where they come from??? I do... They dont come from Name Brands Nope they cant unless they then charge for it. Nope They come from cheap places like china at wholesale...

The perternity test is the worst. I brought one from the dollar store an dit was just a total disaster. The thing was so cheap. It kept giving the same reading so you dont know if your pregnant or not. So wat if you was pregnant and the test said that you wasnt and you go out to the bar and get wasted. Then you could end up losing your baby and have to live with the guilt . so come on get with the program and get on the ball game because if they dont start making these products better than they are going to have some major problems. There are going to be alot of angry woman at their door step fired up because their product was crappy.

I am 22 years old and prenant with my second daughter and my first pregnancy was great. I found out when I was about 8 weeks along. When I was about 8 months pregnant I decided to try a pregancy test from the Dollar Tree, just for curiosity. I thought to myself- How can a pregnancy test that costs one dollar actually really work? Especially considering that if you go to anyother store such as Walgreens, Target, or EVEN Walmart the cheapest pregnancy test runs about $6.00. I was shopping at the Dollar Tree in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in August 2007, while I was 8 months pregnant and walked passed the pregnancy test and thought to myself its only a dollar and I know for sure that I am pregnant as I looked down at the watermelon shaped stomache i was lugging around. Whats the worst that could happen. So i took all of my other items I was going to purchase to the register and paid for them. I'm reviewing the doller tree brand pregnancy test. I have never been pregnant before but have had a few susspected cases. The first 3 times I used the dollar tree brand. It always told me what I wanted to hear and was always accurate. The 4th time I decided to try a more expensive one just to see if there were any added bonuses or features. Of course in the end, it told me the same accurate response. WIth many items I prefer to buy the brand name however with the pregnancy test I will always go with the dollar tree brand. i trust it, its reliable and it's cheap. Why pay more when you could pay less. I didnt find anything extra special or different about the expensive brands except that they were expensive. If what you use works why change it. I know I was sketchy about it at first but honestly this brand works and is easy to use I would reccomend it to anyone.. I will definietly being going back to the dollar tree brand if I need a test in the futre1

Who would have thought that a pregnancy test purchased from the Dollar Tree would actually be accurate? When I was trying to conceive, I went through many pregnancy tests and decided I needed something cheap yet effective. I saw a pregnancy test in the Dollar Tree and figured there was noway something that cost $1 was going to work. Sure enough, they were great! It's the only brand I buy, and I reccommend them to all my friends/family. I've never had a false negative or positive, and the lines are clear enough to be read.

So, this test is a bit complicated and more involved than just peeing on a stick. But, it is only a dollar which is so great for those of us that are addicted to pregnancy tests while trying to conceive. Nice to keep around for spontaneos testing!
