i decided to buy a Dodge Ram 1500 with a hemi i am 50 years old and i wanted a truck Ive had my eye on this truck for years! i go to Dannie smiths in Savannah tn, and there sits a dodge ram 1500 with hemi in the color i want. Austin Tan Pearl! I go for a test drive and it won my heart over.I love the free sattelite radio for a year free oil changes for as long as i own the truck and the greatest thing lifetime bumper to bumper warranty. It has u-connect for hands free Mobile phone. lots of storage space 2 glove boxes at passenger seat.in the middle is has a lift up double storage space. The back seat is 75 /25 split and can lift up and has a fold out floor for hauling things that might harm the interior. Tinted windows, a back sliding glass window tinted also. We haul full truckloads of shoes which get very heavy so we love the tow and haul option and the cruise control. It tells me my mileage. how many more miles before i need gas. it has huge 17 inch tires and dual exhaust . it...

Just bought this truck. Thought it was too expensive at first but then I test drove it.

Wow what a great luxury truck. this baby has it all, DVD, satelite, smooth ride and pragmatic.

I am sold on Dodge (I have always been a GMC fan up until now).

You get luxury and utility. Gas milage is good considering the size. This Laramie can tow my heavy trailer, boat and horse trailer with ease.

Thoughtful design. Great price for what you get!!

I've been driving a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 for most of the past week. I'm very impressed by the improvements Dodge has made to this truck for '09, but it's still a huge gas hog that's hard to park, handles miserably, isn't particularly safe, and has human factors engineering that's a few years behind state of the art.

Styling is the Ram's strong point this year. The new front end is very slick and very macho. The inset effect almost gives it the look of a shark getting ready to take a chomp out of the little SmartCar driving econo-misers. 17" alloy wheels look good and capable, and I think the 6 foot bed is usable for most work truck applications (though 8 foot is definitely preferred by any real working man).

Inside, the ride is stone silent quiet. You hardly hear the engine and the ride is practically Cadillac smooth. This bears testament to Dodge's catering to a family market that has no honest need for a truck but that doesn't mind irresponsible driving while it's still possible....

This is the best truck ever built by Dodge. The new re-designed Hemi V8 motor is awesome. Has 390hp with 20 mpg highway. It has the strongest lightest frame ever in a Dodge Ram, which saves on gas. It has awesome RamBox storage in the bed of the truck. Mine has uconnect gps that is out of this world. Mine also has a drop down DVD with SIRIUS backseat TV and uconnect web with instant wifi.
