The dealership was great but the manufacturer has insured I will never buy another product from them. Without any cnsideration about there customers, they took the only dealership within 100 miles away making service almost impossible. When I sent them a letter regarding this they never even acknowedged receipt....

I have only 53,000 miles on it and have already replaced the alternator and the instrument panel. The door seals keep getting off kilter and the seats are uncomfortable. I do appreciate the 4 wheel drive feature, but it drives more like a truck than a luxury SUV....

I drive my 05 Durango every day to work. Although the price of gas is ridiculous, its worth it that my family of 4 has so much luxury. My Durango is fully equipped with a third row back seat and a dvd player. I love this car....

Although gasoline is quite expensive with this vehicle and I was considering trading my Dodge Durango in on something smaller, I have just decided that it would be crazy to do so. My family and I just returned from vacation and not only was I thankful that we had the room to carry all of our things but the rest of my extended family was also thankful since all of us were able to fit into one vehicle at a time. I also have a teenager and a tween so this involves alot of running around but also I have enough room to fit everyone in the car. Not only is there plenty of room but this vehicle rides like a dream. I do not ever seeing myself owning anything other than a Dodge...they are tough and durable but also comfortable. ...

I love my Durango for several different reasons. I have the V-8 SLT version, so it's probably not as bad on gas as the hemi. With the third row seating you can haul around a lot of people. You can fold all the seats down and haul a buch of stuff as well. It's tough, dependable and safe. I was rear ended by a VW jetta, and her whole front end was damaged and I only got a little black mark on my rear bumper. I feel very safe driving my two kids in this truck, and I don't anticipate getting rid of it any time soon. The only things I don't like about it are the blind spots, which you will have in any large SUV, and the seats are not as plush as I would like. My mom's special edition Tahoe has seats that are just plain luxury. If I had her seats in my Durango the truck would be perfect....

I have wanted a Dodge Durango for a long time. I can't afford to buy one, but they are really nice cars! There is a lot of room inside for not only people but also personal stuff you would take on a trip or just to put in the car. This is a perfect vehicle to take on a family trip. Go to the beach, or go visit family. If I had a Dodge Durango I would enjoy it very much! I would deffinitly take it on long trips. It is a reliable car! I could trust it enough to go as far as I needed to go!...

I wanted a Durango for years, and I finally got one. It is beautiful and comfortable but it is so costly on gas. I also was surprised how many things don't actually fit in the rear cargo area. My husband has a Tahoe and my Durango seems larger than his Tahoe, but his Tahoe actually fits more in the back than the Durango! I do feel daf in it, but may be forced to trade it in due to the cost to fill it up every week....

Prior to 2005 I owned mini vans and cars. The 2005 Durango is much bigger than the prior years. I loved the way the Durango looked when I saw it on the lot. I was afraid to test drive it because of the size but the sales agent assured me that I would be able to handle the truck so I decided to test drive it. Once I put the truck into reverse to test drive it I knew this was the vehicle for me. It is very comfortable for around long and short road trips. There is plenty of leg room for everyone. I do not have the third row seating my truck only seats 5 because of this I have to storage areas in the back under the floor. Because I live in the northeast I keep blankets and extra coats, hats, gloves in the truck in case we ever have car trouble. Because of the in the floor storage I can keep these things in the truck and no one knows they are there and they are not taking up space on us. I have driven through snow storms where we have received 8 to 10 feet of snow where there are vehicles...
...

I absolutely love my durango except for the gas mileage. It handles great in the winter and I have to drive a very windy road to get to work and it is usually a half hour drive. I wouldn't get anything else if I had to get a new car. I always am telling people how much I love to drive this truck. It is on the large side so I feel secure sitting up high. Parking it is alittle harder due to its size....
