As frequent guests in Orlando traveling to Disney we had always wanted to stay on Disney property. This trip we were able to do that and expected great things. Longer park hours for resort guests, transportation to and from the park. We had those things, but in our minds, they weren't all that we thought they could be. (The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence syndrome?)

Getting picked up at the airport was wonderful. We were loaded on the Disney Express, which stopped at all three All Star resorts. Our luggage was transported from the airport separately and was promised to be in our rooms within three hours. We know that it wasn't there within that three hours, but hey, it was a bit busy. It might have been three hours and 15 minutes for all we know, because we went to the park! It took a while for a bus to arrive to take us to the park, but that was ok with us, we didn't have to drive in traffic or pay for parking. This was a good thing, at first. ...

The Disney All star Movie Resort in Orlando ,FLA. is a GREAT PLACE to STAY.This resort has everything you could ever want or need.There is a food court that has PB&J sandwiches to steaks.It is all in one area.You can buy a loaf of bread ,sandwich meat or anything else there.You also can purchase a cup that can be refilled at the resort for the lenght of your stay. We did this and it saved alot . If you have old tickects the guest service desk can help you up grade to a new one.They help you do things that you want to do.MAGIC YOUR WAY!!!!!.My kids enjoyed being at the resort as much as the park.There are several swimming pools you can swim in.The also have activities for the kids to do each day.This gives mom and dad a chance to have alittle down time.You never have to move your car.They have buses that will take you anywhere on Disney you want to go.everyone is very friendly and helpful.I could not believe how clean everything was.The bathrooms always have someone in them cleaning.This...

The All Star Movie Resort was the first hotel that my family and I stayed in on our first trip to Disney World. I was worried before we arrived about how this hotel would be since it is the cheapest that Disney has to offer. But upon arrival, I realized that all my worries for nothing.

When I made the reservations, I requested a certain building that was closest to the food court and bus lines. This makes it easier and faster to get out in the morning and makes the walk not so long when arriving back at the end of the day. I also requested a refrigerator in the room due to my daughter's medication needing to be refrigerated. When we arrived to check in, there was no problem of being assigned to the wrong building and the refrigerator was already in the room and cold. Check in was a breeze, even though the line was a little long(to be expected since we went at Christmas and this is the busiest time of year).

On the way to the room, you see enormous characters from the Disney movies...

We have stayed at all of the value resorts on property numerous times. We like this one best. It is the only truly "Disney themed" hotel. The place is decorated with Disney classics. The rooms are clean.

This is a non smoking resort, but we had a neighbor who decided to smoke in her room and it stunk up ours. The front desk send up an air purifier...

I have been to Disney World five times. Four of those five times we've stayed at the All Star Movies and we love it. If you have children it is the best price and the cutest place to be. I don't know why anyone would pay a higher price for places that aren't as geared to children as the All Star Movies, Sports and Music. I was fifty years old the first time I went and I thought I was staying in Toyland. Disney does everything right. The food courts have some good food for reasonable prices. The swimming pools are big and inviting. By all means go to Disney and take it from an old gal stay at the All Star Movies just once and you'll be hooked....

This is a great hotel to stay at on site, and on budget! I personally prefer Pop Century as far as value resorts go, but if it is booked this is the way to go! Great pool, and a family atmosphere! This is a great resort if you have kiddos.. bright colors, and fun times! Save money, stay value, you will never be in your room!...

Stayed at Disney All Star Resort. It was inexpensive for a Disney Resort hotel but for the price was not worth it. Room was very small and not very clean. You had to walk a mile to get to the food court to get a drink..which by the way was always super crowded. Pool was not that big for amount of people there. If going to Disney do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks and stay at one of the moderate priced resorts....

We have made two sojourns to the land of the Value Resorts at Walt Disney World Resorts. I admit that the first time was purely to appease the children and to give the allusion that I am not a resort snob.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this resort. Maybe it was just anticipation for the Deluxe Resort to follow or seeing the All-Star Movies Resort through my children's eyes. Either way I made the reservations for our second stay willingly and I confess that the kids weren't with us for that stay.

When we approached the counter to be checked in by a very friendly Cast Member, I had a sense of trepidation that the process would be painful. It was just the opposite in every way. The woman who worked to get us situated went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable with our room assignments and without prompting brought in a manager to tweek the reservation.

We stayed at this resort hotel this past summer. For the price we paid, you could not have asked for more. My son had so much fun in all the themed pools and the movie themed items throughout the property. The rooms were always in tip top shape, and the maids go out of their way to help you if you need anything. (If you leave a tip, the maids will do a little something special for your little ones in the room, eg: folding blankets or towels into animals) I loved the fact that it had the restaurants so we could get a quick bite to eat and the gift shop just incase you forgot something on your way home. The transportation is great you don't have to worry about parking just a little wait on the buses but nothing to get upset about. I highly recommmend this hotel. You get all the amenities that the bigger resorts have without the higher price tag.

Disney All Star Resorts delivered a great "value" hotel room. The decor was cute and in typical Disney Style. The rooms were clean and offered minimal ammenities such as clean towels, room service, hairdryer, and cable.

The grounds were always clean. The pool was one of our favorite locations at the hotel. It was a fantasia theme. (They also have a "quiet" pool with the Mighty Ducks theme.) Mickey stands on a huge boulder shooting water into the pool...very cool.

The cafeteria had a good variety and delicious food. The portions were actually a bit large, especially for kids. My children (3 and 6) split most meals. They also had a bar with pricey drinks.

It was easy to get to the theme parks, downtown disney, and the other non-disney attractions.

All-Star Movies is a great value resort. You are not going to get all the extras that you find at the more expensive resorts. We spent very little time at the resort. We ate, slept, and relaxed there for a few hours every...
