I stayed at Wilderness Lodge for my honeymoon. It was definitely not my first choice for this but it was one of the only hotels with vacant rooms because we waited last minute to book it, We were so surprised! We loved it! It was fun and had one of the best themes I've experienced at Disney. We had cute animals made out of towels in our room everyday and were totally relaxed in our nice quiet room. We also loved the boat to the Magic Kingdom and the pool! The geyser was fun to watch but we had a hard time catching it.

I have visited the Wilderness Lodge at Disney World several times already and love it more each time. The large themed pool is like being in the rushing waters of a river in the wild at one end and has a slide area for children too. There is a geysor just off the pool area which erupts regularly. You truly feel as though you are at a hugh "out west" lodge because the rocks and trees look so cool! ...

Animal Kingdom is great for families. Had an outside room which allowed for viewing of animals. Restaurants a little pricey with kids....

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of the best places to stay when you want to leave the feeling of FL behind. It truely makes you feel like you are in the American Northwest. Great place to leave the hustle and bustle of the theme parks behind. Artist Point is a wonderfully relaxing place to unwind and enjoy a fantastic meal....

right in the middle of florida! The theming of this hotel is unbelievable! I would highly recommend it...

If deluxe is the way you want to go, then the Wilderness Lodge is just for you. It is slightly cheaper then the other deluxe resorts but just as nice. The only negative is that it is not on the monorail line but it does have a direct boat to the Magic Kingdom. The rooms are comfortable, some rooms even have bunk beds. They are large and perfect for families. The resturants are wonderful, especially Whispering Canyon Lodge. The pool is huge with rolling waterfalls that end up in the pool. There is even a geiser that goes off every half hour. Very Disney and family themed but also a romantic feel to the hotel....

I knew I wanted to get away to Disney World with the family and I went back and forth with which resort would be best for our family and budget. I chose the Wilderness Resort and couldn't have been happier. We were greeted at the curb by curtious bellhops and directed to our concierge who informed us that our room key would be our key to the park. That perk there made the trip so convenient. We were surprised to find that when our requested room was not available (we were early), they put us in a room with more features. The kids were able to enjoy a bunkbed while my husband and I shared a queen bed (minus the kiddos).

We had a coffee maker and refridgerator in the room (great for the leftovers that we had many times over). We also purchased a refillable mug. You buy it and all(soda/tea/coffee) refills are free for the remainder of your stay. I was able to sneak away for a few minutes (exhaustion won out) each evening for a night cap in the on-site bar or slip into the hot tub to relax...

I love Disney's Wilderness Lodge, it is my favorite hotel within the Disney family of hotels, It is located closest to the Magic Kingdom. It looks like a "Lincoln Log" Style Building, with the brown tree poles the green tree slabs as the roof. It is a smoke-free resort. It is not cheap. I saved up a long time for it but it was worth it....

The Wilderness Lodge is a hotel that makes you feel like you are in a luxury lodge up North, and from the big glass windows to the smell of fresh cut food! During Christmas the decorations are outstanding, you can sit in the lobby drinking a fine red wine looking at the giant Christmas tree and listening to the Christmas carol performers.

This hotel is fantastic. You would think you had arrived at a lodge in the great northwest area of this country. The lobby and all lobby decor are huge with huge wooden beams and columns throughout. Their restaurant is also huge on servings; everything delicious. The grounds is another wonderland with geyers and pools; everything meticulously cared for. Their price-tag is also huge....
