For my youngest son's first birthday we decided it would be best to get him a toddler bed. So my mom bought him the Disney Pixar Cars Lightning McQueen bed. It was cute and looked like the right bed for him.

So after the birthday party I decided to put it together. I couldn't wait! My little boy was going to be in a big boy bed. When I took it out of the box it seemed to be a cute and well made bed. The headboard had a few Cars characters and it had a sturdy steel frame and there were two bed rails. The bed rails can be removed so the bed grows with your child.

Once I started to read the directions and put the bed apart something became apparent. This was a cheaply made bed. NONE of the screws fit in the pre-drilled holes. I tried and tried to force the screws in, nothing worked. I was upset. The next day I returned it to the store. It is a cute bed and looks sturdy but I will never find out. I ordered a cheaper, better quality, and much cuter bed than this one. I don't recommend...

My sons crib was recalled at 15 months. I decided to go with a toddler bed instead of buying another crib that he would only use a few months. I saw this toddler bed on Toys R Us website and though it was well priced. We went out to buy the bed, read through the directions and though, "hmm this would be easy to put together" we were very wrong!!! The Lightning McQueen Toddler Bed was a royal pain in the butt to put together! The screw holes in the polls that support the bed did not match up well at all. The whole time putting this crib together we felt like we were having to bend metal just to get the pieces to fit together. Unless you are superman, this is no easy defeat. My friend bought the same bed for her son and her holes lined up perfectly. The problem is that you don't know what you got until you begin putting it together.

Other than the HORRIBLE set up the bed is sturdy and my 15 month old loves it.

My son who was 2 years old at the time we got him the Disney Pixar Cars, Lightning McQueen Toddler Bed, is now 3 years old loves his bed. He will come in my room maybe 2 to 3 times out of the month but other than that he loves sleeping in his own bed. His first time sleeping in his new bed was kinda scary for me because I was afraid that he would wiggle to the other end of the bed where there were no protective rails and sometimes he did and I would see him hanging off of his bed either head first or feet first but he hasn't ever completely fell out of his bed and hurt himself. The bed was extremely hard to put together but it was well worth it because my baby loves having his very own bed.

Pro: Bed looks just as nice in person, as it does in the picture.

        The Disney Lightning McQueen Toddler Bed, is the
         right height and size for a toddler.

Con:The only negative, it was difficult to put together....

I liked this "Cars" bed, my son loves the movie. For the price I paid it was worth it. It was kind of complicated to put this together but all in all worked out great. The metal legs kinda look weird but it's ok....

I bought this Cars bed in a set with a table, two chairs, and a toy shelf. It was easy to put together, I was able to put it together my myself. My son loves it. He went from a baby bed to this and it worked perfect. It has side rails on both sides so he does fall out of bed. It has held up get and he is very hard on it(he likes to jump) The only problem we've had with the bed is the stickers don't stay on very good....

the lightning mcquuen toddler bed is very well one of the best. It is well colred and kids like lightning mcqueen. Lightning mcqueen is a good movie for kids and a good influence. It teaches kds that everyone should get along and not judge anyone....

I bought this bed for my 2-year-old. He loved it, but we only let him sleep in it for a coulpe of months. He is now sleeping in a regular bed.

The cars bed was very flimsy. It is made mostly of plastic and some metal. The metal is not very good. The legs started beding outwards from underneath the bed. I was afraid that it was going to fall from underneath my son while he was asleep.

This is a great toddler bed at a really great cost! The only problem we have with this bed is that it is difficult to put together. It took us half the day to get 2 of these put together for our twin boys. But they absolutely love their beds and they have neat cars stickers on them. They dont take up a ton of room and the boys seem very comfortable in them as well. Also the bed rails are solid so there is no risk of little arms and legs getting caught in them as they are sleeping....
