I took my daughter and her two cousins on the cruise in August 2008. We did the 4 day cruise, which was wayyyy too short. I wish I would have taken a longer trip if I had known, but being that this was my first time ever cruising, I didnt know what to expect, so I wanted to keep it short & sweet. Boy was I wrong - Disney is the way to vacation if parents want to get away and bring the kids without the stress of worrying if they will run off somewhere. I thought that I would be bored and up late at night twiddling my thumbs, boy was I wrong - I was ready for bed everynight by 11pm. The one thing I am glad that I did was book a couple of excursions, which I really enjoyed and it also helped the time go by TOO FAST.

I will mention that the best age to bring your child on the Disney Cruise would be around the age of 8 and older. That way parents can drop them off at the kiddy center and GOOOO. But please note that you are given a pager, so if he kido's are calling for you they...

Disney Cruise lines is the best way to spend a memorable vacation. We went on our first cruise two years ago with Disney Cruise lines and our goal is to save up again for another one soon. We were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped into Port Canaveral, FL. The food was outstanding and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our wait staff was awesome. They took time to treat my son like royalty and he wants the same waitress when we go back. I don't know if that if possible, but we will definitely request her. I encourage anyone with children to take a Disney Cruise. They have a place for children to play while the adults relax or eat a quiet lunch alone. Disney Cruise lines is the best place for a fun, relaxing, enjoyable vacation.

Disney Wonder - 4 nights Bahamian Cruise.

I had heard afrom a lot of people on crusies that are just okay. I was told that with Disney being thhe first crusie for the kids (5.5 & 3.5 boys) We did this cruise in Sep 07. I had opted for a Category 5 (With Balcony) on Deck 8... It was fantastic with the view ...especially during mornings....

THe service in the restaurant was above and beyond...

Giving the gratuties, sometimes feel a little tight fisted when the service is not A++ and even as we have already spent a lot I may just go marginal but not here since there was not the smallest reason not to be generous.

The beach for adults is so serene, I would recommend (leave your kids in the club for the beach activity) and spend some time there.

My kids have been talking about the cruise and still remember the experience. Giving them a choice of a vacation between the park and cruise they would always choose Cruise. I have booked a cruise for 2009 in Oct (the price was lower ...

the disney wonder was a great ship. The food was excellent. The shows were of Broadway caliber.There was plenty of activities to keep you busy including bingo. I won this trip which made it even better. We saw Nassau and Castaway Cay disneys island. I went on the glass bottom boat excursion. I lost my cap but it was retrieved for me....

We sailed on the Disney Wonder in January of 2008 and we had an amazing time. It was out first cruise and I had no idea what to expect. The trip turned out to be more fun than I ever imagined. We are big Disney fans, and they did not disappoint on this adventure. So much attention to detail, and fun little bits of magic everywhere you turn. The ship is immaculate and beautiful, the food was great, and there was so much to do. I feel like we ran around nonstop the whole time, but there was still so much more we could have done. The staff was so over-the-top accomodating, helpful and kind that it was almost nauseating...but in a good way! The characters, and the interactions with them, absolutely thrilled my 5 year old daughter. This trip was so much fun for the entire family and we can't wait to go again....

I am a Disney Fan, but was new to cruising before taking this trip. Wasn't sure what to expect so we only went for the 3 night short cruise. What a mistake we made.....we should have booked the 7 day! We had so much fun, there was so much to do that before we knew it we were home. Most of the shows were great, the food was outstanding & the activities both on and off the ship were wonderful as well. Our trip was paid in Full by the time we got onboard, including all of the excursions we booked, so in theory we didn't even have to spend another dime, which was a hugh peice of mind. Of course we had to buy "goodies" to remember our trip by, but it was nice to know there would be no additional costs so we didn't mind splurging here & there. By the time we got home we were having Disney withdrawl & wanted to go back so badly. Recently we decided to take another Cruise, but decided to try a different cruise line. Although it was fun & the crew were nice, this cruise just couldn't......

Disney Wonder: This was our first cruise and the whole family; my husband and boys (9 & 11) all loved the cruise. I didn't know exactly what to expect and it far exceeded our expectations! We hardly saw our boys, they were off having their own fun. So there's plenty of adult time. We now want to go on a 7 day Disney Cruise!

Here's some tips:
- Disney allows you to bring on your own beverages (alcohol and non-alcoholic). There is an empty refrigerator in your room. You may want to bring water bottles and beers - bring cans. (Note: Coke soda products are free.)
- If you drink coffee, you may want to bring a thermal mug or two to fill up. There's 24 hour free coffee up on deck nine.
- Go to all the shows in the Disney theater!!!! These shows are amazing. They rival any Broadway production. My boys loved them.
- Bring costumes to dress up for Pirate night. So many people got into the spirit of dressing up and I was kicking myself I didn't bring anything. Make sure you......

My family recently took a cruise on the Disney Wonder in June. Not only was the ship beautiful, but the staterooms were MUCH larger than I would have expected. I've cruised once before and the room was smaller than the Wonder's room.

The food was decent, with the best items served on the poolside decks. My family celebrated two birthdays onboard and the dining team was outstanding!

One con is that we never really met our stateroom host. Although he took fair care of our rooms, we never really met or talked with him and we were onboard for almost a week.

The private island is an especially nice treat. The food on the island was wonderful. Gorgeous fresh fruits and tasty ice cream!

A good time was had by all. Oh and the night time fireworks on deck - amazing. The nightly shows were done wonderfully also. Nobody beats Disney for family fun!

I absolutely loved the disney cruise. We went on a 4 day cruise on the wonder ship. It was my first cruise and I don't think that I'll ever take another landlocked vacation. Disney pulled out all the stops. I loved everything from the food down to the little animal towel left on the bed....

I loved the cruise. The castmembers are all kind and helping, and the restaurants have great food and atmosphere. Plenty of things to do for kids and adults. Allover, a must do....

I shared my Disney cruise with my daughter and 3 grandchildren. What great memories! My daughter choose a mid-December cruise, so it was also a Christmas present for us all. The ship was wonderful! Everywhere we looked there were characters to interact with, food to eat at any time of day, and the kids were able to participate in the Disney club and do all kinds of great activities. They made paper airplanes, cooked, acted like pirates, learned to dance; you name it, the ship provided it. One of the special features the adults can do is to sign the kids into the club and have all the time you want to do your own activities, or do nothing at all but relax. I would recommend the Disney cruise to all families - it's a great way for a family to be together!...

Our family had a wonderful time on the Disney Wonder. Our 5-year-old daughter got to be one of the seven dwarfs on stage during an evening performance. The shows are spectacular, the food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. We especially loved going to Disney's private island. There is a kid's club which offers many spectacular activities for children. Our daughter loved it. We enjoyed alone time while she had fun playing with other children. I highly recommend this experience.
