I use Discover for any purchases I can. The cashback bonus is a wonderful feature, mainly because of the alternatives to get discounted gift cards instead of cash that enhance the value of the reward. I charge a great deal every month and build up a sizable cash back which is use to get gift cards for the holidays and really impress my coworkers with the amounts I am able to get.

I do wish discover was more widely accepted. there are more than enough vendors that force me to use visa/master card instead of discover when I charge. I would like discover to be the only card i carry, but that is not possible.

I have had tremendous success when dealing with disputes. The company has advocated for me in some very upsetting situations. One in particular, where I was blatantly ripped off by the Awesome Auger company. The did not send me what I ordered, claimed I returned it late and refused to give me any credit even though they admitted having their merchandise back. To appease...

I had experienced lots of credit cards in the past. Along with a heavy dept to them. It took me two and half years to get rid of it. This was back in 1996, $32,000.00, when you could transfer funds without fees. I closed them ALL, in 1998.

Since then I only have ONE credit card & That's DISCOVER. I have a picture of a horse on (I Love it) it and pay it off in FULL monthly. My Father had one too. I did he's accounting and saw that he would bet cash back yearly. That's what got me to get one. Plus I love the customer service they provide.

The Discover Plat card is the greatest. I work the card and dont let the card work me. The cash back program is fantastic. I let the cash back grow and when i finally pull it in i use the money on a well deserved vacation. The trick is to avoid interest and penalities by paying the balance off each month, the the cash back is a true reward with no hype involved. Discover has been a long time friend and investment for me and my crew. Discover Card has been lyoal to me in good and bad times....

The Discovery card that I have is amazing, the reward and cash back really make it worth wild and no annualy fee. I can't imagine my life with out it. Just this christmas I did so much shopping with my card I got back $300 from my cash back thing. aND TO TOP IT OFF I lost it and it was replaced by within a few short days. I really love this card....

There are tons of credit cards out there, but there is only one that I have found that will actually pay you back in CASH! Most state that you can win prizes with points that they give you. I don't think that people realize how many points you have to earn just to get the smallest prize available. Using my discover card I could have already bought the item that was up for grabs with points 10 times over with my cash back bonus! I also like the choice that I am given, whether to use my bonus as a charitable donation or get it doubled at some retailers! How can you go wrong? Especially if you pay it off each month.

Discover platinum offers cashback on all purchases. However, they also offer 5% cashback on varied offers throughout the year. You have to sign up for the offers but they really add up over time. If you pay your credit card off each month you actually get PAID for using it because there is no intrest if you pay the full balance before the due date each month. Also, they offer online cashback offers that sometimes exceed 5% cashback. I love this card. ...

You can't change the APR, the rewards on it you never see unless you spend an enormous amount of money AND pay the same amount back (seriously, who does that?!)....

I look for things on clearance and I mostly pay cash for them unless it's a great deal and I just have to charge.... But I will stay with my limits....
