This has been a handy card. Their automatic payment set up was quick and easy; their customer service is standing by to help. They report to the credit bureau, which can build your credit. The card has a reward program for cash back on gas purchases. They are very hesitant on giving more than a $500 credit line starting out, that may be due to not-perfect credit. All in all I like the Discover card and its' rewards....

This card can be used about anywhere and is convient to have.

Double cash back bonuses, but you have to sign up and has limits to the rewards.

Hard to have a dispute sided on your behalf.

1 time ONLY courtsey for refunding late fees.

Cash back rewards are high. Need to earn $50.00 in rewards to receive cash back.

Takes a very long time to reach the cash back bonus.

High interest if are not able to payoff each month.

Does not dispute with the merchant, leaves that up to the consumer.

Disclosers on back of statement are their discression. May still have to pay for merchandise even if proven it was returned. Merchant disclosers have more clout than Discovwers.

Internet use is noit always as easy as it seems. Watch the pop ups if click on a pop up and do not cancel Discover will not always help you with these fees because of the terms listed with in the pop ups that noone ever reads. Most people just click on them to get them off the screen or made to click on them to go forward....

discover has always given me cash back bonus. they also five five % off on some buissnesses that i live in, which is a small town. they have also refunded me a late charge that was assest to my account for being late on a payment. they have also refunded me monies for buisnesses that have charged a fee on my credit card that i did not make, they had me send in proof and postage that a certain item was sent back to that particular complay and discover took over the pain in the ass of contacting that company and addressing the issue of being charged a bogus charge. i have already used my cash back bonus to pay bills several times...and am less than a dollar to recieve another cash back bonus. how cool is that??? get paid to shop and use the card. i would recomend this card to everyone. i pay my bill monthly and there is no finance charge ever. how cool is that? also lthere is no monthy or yearly charge.

The Discover card is wonderful to use as it offers a cash back bonus. After charging a certain amount, even if you pay off the balance in full every month, you receive a 20 dollar cash back gift card to use at your convenience and on anything and everything you would like totaling up to 20 bucks. This is a very nice incentive to have, to keep wanting to use the Discover card as it literally pays you to use their service.

The customers service reps are very friendly, polite, and knowledgable at answering any and all questions that you may have. If your card gets old and tatterered, all you have to do is call and that will be happy to issue you a new one free of charge . You can also pick the design and or picture that you would like to have on the front of the credit card free of charge.

My husband and I also enjoy the convenience of having a Discover card They are excellent to use when you travel as Discover is permitted and taken by restaurants, hotels, gas stations, and shopping...

I have been a discover card user since the mid 1980's. I have never had an incorrect billing or any other problem. When we take multi-state trips (about twice a year) I call Discover and give them a "heads up", forstalling any questions about use of the card. Since we charge most "everyday" expenses - $3,000 t0 5,000 per month - as well as travel expenses, the amount of cash we receive each year is substantial....

I used to have a Discover card about 18 years ago. I my parents needed some cash and I took it out of my Discover card. I did not have the money to pay it all back at once so I started paying it back little by little. I always paid back more than the minimum. Not only did I pay the miniumum to Discover card I paid more...always. But the bill would only go down a few dollars. I called them to see if we could make some kind of payment arrangement were either the interest rate would go down or they would allow me to do something anything so that I could lower my bill. I did not want a hand out. I did not want to stop from paying them. I was just trying to pay them off.Discover told me there was nothing they could do. That I would have to continue to pay them until I finished paying them off. Luckily within that same month I got a great deal from American Express. A loan with a very low interest rate for as long as it took me to pay off that debt. I transfered my Discover debt to American Express...

I have had a discover card for more than twenty years. It is widely accepted and I have gotten great service over twenty years of having this card. I got this card to build my credit and it has worked. They even called when my number was stolen and suspicious activity took place.

My experiences with Discover Card have been consistantly pleasant. I have used their online services and their phone services, both of which were good experiences. In the past I have had a bank account through them, also. The cashback option has been beneficial to me. I use the card regularly and earn quite a bit each year. The extra five percent back for various industries on a rotating basis throughout the year and extra bonus cash back make the card pay me, as I never carry a balance so only make cash back.

All in all I find Discover card a great credit card with excellent customer service.

I paid my Discover bill online from 2 different checking accounts on the same day. Discover sent both payment requests to the same bank even though I had specified different bank routings. It seems after much frustration that I find out that we can pay only one payment at a time. We have to wait until the first bank clears before submitting the second payment. I had printed statements that show 2 different days of posting but they still sent it to the wrong bank 3 times which also created overdrafts in my account. We discovered the first mistake shortly after submitting and called Discovercard. We tried to pay the bill by phone and they refused to take it. After 2 very frustrating phone calls today they still refuse to work with us to clear this up. They did credit one overdraft payment to my account but refuse to do anything about the second one. The discovercard manager representative said that although my payment printout clearly shows two different bank routing numbers...

I have really enjoyed my Discover credit card. It works wonders at the gas station and earns me points for either cash or other awards. What particularly pleases me is that I can use my points for a value of $20 and get a value of $30 in Blockbuster movie awards. I would be buying the gas either way, but with this card, I also earn seven free movies, roughly a $30 value at Blockbuster. We have a large family and four of us drive cars. When prices were really high (around $4.50), our gas bills were huge, but the rewards stacked up quickly and we were able to enjoy free movies during a difficult economic time. I also like just charging my gas on one card so I can know how much I need to budget for gas each month. I also receive my bill via email and in the mail. I pay it using my bank's online payment system. I have never received a late fee and really appreciate not having an annual fee. I plan to keep this card for a long time or at least until the expiration date!...

It used to be that I only used a credit card when traveling. Now I use my Discover card whenever I can. The flea market still requires cash. These days nearly everywhere else takes Discover.

Every month I pay the whole balance on my card online, so I actually make money whenever I use it. Since nearly everything my husband and I buy is on the statement, reviewing it has helped me budget. Discover recently reduced the cash-back rate, so my haul won't be as good this year. However, I'll stick with this card because of the great service.

When my grocery store's computer system was compromised, my credit card number --along with thousands of others--was stolen. My Discover statement showed over $200 worth of gas bought at one time in another state. When I called Discover, they not only removed the whole amount from my bill but actually overnighted me a replacement card with a new number. The guy on the phone could not have been nicer if I'd been his mom.
