We chage most of our purchases, including weekly groceries/gas/drug store, to the Discover card. Cash back really adds up.

The discover card was our first credit card. We were able to get it with very little credit history.

The card has many dreat features, but my favorite is the Cash Back program. You get 1% for every dollar you spend, but you can sign up every three months for their 5% Cash back program on select categories; for example, some months you can get this on groceries, or restaurants, or even gas. Also they have shop Discover where you can get bonus cash back for clicking through their site and shopping at select stores online.

I also love how they do the cash back. You are able to choose how you want to get it. You can have it credited to your bill or just get a check. They add to it substanially if you donate to certain charities that they support. My favorite way to get the cash bask is through gift cards. I consider myself a computer geek. I spend a huge amount of my spare time on the computer each day so I decided that I should put it to good use. When I am online , I try to find ways that I can save money or earn extra money. That comes in handy in todays economy. Recently I came across an advertisement and offer for a Discover Card. I currently have enough credit cards but I was enticed to give Discover a try. As I read about the savings you can get by using the Discover Card...such as cash back for certain purchases, I thought I might could benefit. Right now you can get up to 5% cash back or double cash back in some cases, for items purchased such as groceries, meals at resturants, and movie ticket purchases. There are also special offers for shopping and during the Christmas season, who can pass this up. My plan is to take advantage of all the special deals and bonuses Discover Card offers by using this card solely and then paying off the balance on a monthly basis. This way...

With the way things are now a days. You would think that the credit card companies would offer better plan to keep you as a customer.Well I just recieved my statement. And they are raising my interest rate from 12% to 29% and I haven't use it in over a year and I don't have a balance!

This card is great for anyone. My parents have the same card and they love it. I am a cost-conscious college student on a tight budget and I love it the same. The online banking system is wonderful, matched only by the outstanding customer service. They reply to e-mails within minutes and send important updates and reports through e-mail. I never have to use the paper bill because the online payments are super easy to use!

The cashback rewards are also a huge perk along with the low interest rate, I have never had a credit card that I have been so consistently happy with. They are flexible, easy-going, and organized. They are prepared to help any customer with any problem and, though I have only ever dealt with them by phone, I am fairly certain they do it all with a smile. I can't remember a time I have been on hold or hung up frustrated.

I have only had a handful of credit cards in a handful of years but I think I'm a Discover girl for life!

I used the Discover card for years and loved it. They offer a points system that allows you to be rewarded for every dollar you spend. You are able to cash in your points for girft cards, cash, or money towards your credit card bill. They also do not charge an annual fee and they offer a variety of programs that include but are not limited to credit monitoring, fraud insurance, annual credit reports, and spending charts. Discover also offers online statements as well as online payments and a variety of options on their website. I was a huge fan of Discover until I came into financial issues. I had a very high risk pregnancy and was in the hospital for months unable to work. I tried to work with Discover regarding interest rates and payments and they wanted nothing to do with it. Within the first month of missing a payment my interest rate more than doubled and I was slammed with multiple fees. They requested a payment of more than $800.00. I was very disappointed with Discover card when our card was stolen. We called to cancel the card and the guy on the other line said he could not do it. My husband hung up. We received our bill and saw credits on there that we did not make. We called them up and asked for their help with the matter. They said they would help get this taken off out card. We asked again to have out card cancelled and he said that he would take care of the problem and we would not have to cancel the card. In the meantime we recieved another bill with no credits to the card. We called again and finally got someone on the phone who could actually cancell out card. We finally got out card canceled but we never recived any credit back from any of the charges and some of them were monthly charges. We ended up payed between 2 and 3 hundred dollars on thing we did not purchase and the card company did not help us with this at all. We could have paid less if they would have cancelled the card the first time we called....

Discover Card is abosolutely the best credit card company to work with in the credit card industry. The cash bank is alright but not the only reason to join with such a repubatable company. They call you whenever they feel something is wrong which is great. Since I am now living in a new city if transactions occur in the city I lived in in the past they call, if transactions occur in a new city which I do not live they call to let me know and ensure that these are truly my transactions. Because of the current economic situation, many companies are shutting down credit limits and I have experienced this is the past but not with Discover Card. they know a good consumer when they see one. They try to take care of you and understand your individual needs. No question about it Discover is the best emergency card to carry if you must carry an emergency card at all. You should focus on savings but if not be sure to get a Discover card.

I think discover card and all other credit card companys are not fair. The reason why is because if you have no credit or very little credit than you will not get approved for one of their cards. Take me for an example.. I have no credit. I have a pretty good job that pays pretty good. I have hardly any bills but they will not approve me for a credit card. I am trying to build credit but how can I if no one will approve me. Discover card sent me an email saying sorry but they can not approve me at this time. For me try again at a later time. Meaning once I build up some credit. I will not reapply with Discover because they would not approve me when I needed them. Discover card needs to start some kind of program or something for people who are trying to build credit or for people who have made a mistake and are trying to start over again. I understand that the economy is bad right now but how can they make money if they are not approving first timers.

My Discover Card has been an excellent source for building/repairing my credit. I have never had any problems with customer support. They have been well versed in every question or problem that I have ever had. It is used most places that I have frequented. The cash back bonus is a great incentive. Who does not spend money? Who does not want to get paid for spending money? Let's be realistic about this; If you pay your bill on time and pay all or most of it off monthly you are making money. Who would not want that? This card has helped me to repair some of the damage that my previous marriage, then subsequently divorce, caused to my credit. I love that I have easy access to my account and that I know it is secure. I am very grateful Discover has give me a chance when they really did not have to. I also like that I can keep up with my credit score for a reasonable monthly price. Thanks again Discover Card. You are never far from my side.
