The bagless dirt devil stick vacuum is a great idea, but has poor performance. My home is in an area where sand can be tracked in and a husky that loves to shed regardless of the grooming - the dirt devil stick vacuum is no competition for husky hair and sand. Hopefully dirt devil will be able to improve on this idea - such as creating better suction power with the same size motor?...

This broom is easy to use and it works. I use is everyday for small pickups and for the larger cleaning as well. I will never go back to a regular broom. It is especially good for older people or people with back problems because you don't have to have a dust pan. I plan to give it as a gift to my Mom....

I like the convienence of the broom vac but emptying it and putting the recepticle back on is not easy. It is light weight and works great for small dirt and dust....

Needed something for quick spills on my hard-wood floors. Have a 4-yr old and 2 cats so there is always something that needs to be swept. This thing is great. Works just like a broom but with added advantage of suction to get all the little pieces. I even use it on my couch for crumbs.

It's a little heavier than a regular broom, but not heavy enough to be a problem. Easy to empty the dust collector part. Wish the battery lastest longer but it does recharge quickly.

Definitely worth the $49.99 price (Linens--n-Things carries them and I used a 20% off coupon so got it for about $40).

I have seen these advertised on TV and the add always caught my eye. It looked like the answer to my prayers. Something easy , convenient and quick! I hate draging out the big vacumn for little jobs. I bought one of these in white and just started to use it. I just love the way it will pick up everything. I get little stones that are brought in on the soles of athletic shoes, and pet hair. It works great around the kitchen.

Having Two beautiful LONG haired Pets in my house This vac has been my best friend .

First let me say that Dog and Cat hair is a major problem in my house .We live in Florida and my poor dog sheds all year around .She is a chow chow lab mix and has a lot of fine fly away hair .She is like a walking fuzz ball and I can sweep the floor and 10 minutes later its full of hair again .

Living in Florida we have lots of tile floors, most houses in Florida have tile because its way cooler in our long summer, but its a nightmare to keep clean. I have 1 long haired cat as well and between the two of them you could loom a rug with all the hair daily. It gets everywhere and is very fine so it flys through the air like Cottonwood , Anyway this vac is great I use it with the power on this way it picks up as you sweep .

The manufacturers say to sweep dirt in a pile than turn it on to suck up the dirt but if you just turn it on and let it do its thing its work very well and I get none of that hair...

I bought a Dirt devil stick vac and I loved it. Then I had a problem with the vac. I tried to get it fixed under the warrenty. Unless I will send it to them through UPS they will not fix it because they do not have a dealer in my area. They will sell it in my area but they will not fix it . I am very upset with a big company doing this. They could of said get it fixed and Dirt devil will pay for it....

I got this on the recommendation of a friend who is obsessive/compulsive about cleaning - I am not cursed as such, but I LOVE how it is small, lightweight and a breeze to use. It is also a bargain at under $20 bucks. I threw out my other $250 vacuum that sucked, because it didn't! I have since bought two more, one for our camper and one for my son to take back to his dorm. God I love this little bugger!...

I have cats with a litter box in my spare bath with tile floors. I got tired of bending over with a dustpan and broom. I know longer have to do that as I pull this out and it sweeps it together like a broom while picking up the litter that's everywhere.

I hate dragging out the corded vacuum and I hate to sweep and use a dust pan. This cordless broom is great for me.

I am always stepping on crumbs in the kitchen and I used to kick them under the counter until I psyched myself up to vacuum the floor.

This broom is just what I need. It's not as light as I would have liked it to be. It weighs a little less than 4 pounds but since I'm dragging it along the floor I can't complain.

I followed the instructions to charge it for 24 hours upon receipt and I was thrilled about how powerful the suction was.

I timed how long the charge lasted and it was shockingly short, only about a total 13 minutes of use (over a 4 day period). I guess most rechargeable hand vacuums aren't much better.

The instructions say to sweep without turning on the broom and when your dirt is in a pile turn on the broom to suck up the pile. I prefer keeping it on the whole time I am cleaning so I don't need to worry about the pile moving around from the room fan.
