The Dirt Devil Featherlite is an awesome vaccuum. I have never been able to feel such a difference when I walked with bare feet across floor before and after I vaccuumed it. The only problem I had is none of the attachments were in the box when I bought, but I contacted them and they are gonna send me the replacement pieces for free. How cool is that.

The Dirt Devil Featherlite is a light weight in the department of vacumming up messes. Yes it is light and inexpensive but it doesn't work very well. I bought this to replace a vacuum that had broken just for temporary reasons. The parts are very flimsy and the suction isn't very good. The price was very cheap but I expected it to do a little better job.

I brought this Dirt Devil Featherlite upright vaccum after my old one gave way and i've been extremely happy with this purchase of mine. The assembly is very simple if you follow the instructions. It's fairly light weight...not feather lite though but is compact and easy to manage. It has been cleaning well till now and I've had no problem with this vac at all. The light at the bottom is also helpful expecially when cleaning in dark corners. I must also mention the add on accessories that come along with this vac..there are a number of brushes and extensions that could be used to clean things other than the carpet or floor. All in all, i have been very satisfied with my purchase.

Review for the "Dirt Devil Featherlite, Model M085570".

I wish that I could have tried this vacuum before purchasing it.

The vacuum claims to be "featherlite" but is rather difficult to push, especially on thicker carpeting. I have large area rugs that aren't very thick, but still it seems like I have to really push to get it to move.

It says that it takes type "U" bags, but when I buy the generic, non-Dirt Devil brand type "U" bags, they don't fit correctly and are too loose. In addition to them being too loose, it is difficult to change the bags on this vacuum, as you have to push the new bag onto a hard plastic area, (which is really just a short circular area, with a slightly longer top ledge), and there is no way to get any leverage to make sure that the bag is secure, even if you get the Dirt Devil brand.

One of the advertized "benefits" of this machine is the "Automatic Height Adjust", which is supposed to raise or lower the vacuum according to your carpet type. I have not seen......

great - I use it daily - pets, kids, husband all messy! Dirt Deville Featherrite MO85530 makes life easier for me. Handly and light makes the job fast and spotless! Love IT Easy to change bags and inexpensive! I wouold rate is a 4stars - easy to store...

I got this while I was a single guy and didn't have a lot to clean in my little small place. It wasn't expensive and I figured it would do the job that needed to be done. It has 12 amps of sucking power and I am no expert on vacuums but most of the others sitting there were less powerful so I grabbed this one.

Dirt Devil Featherlite

It does a fair job of getting stuff up off the floor and I can hear cat litter going up through it all the time. I do have to go over some places twice with it but I have never had one that got everything in one pass anyway. Most times its pet hair or my hair that needs a second pass and to me it is understandable. The attachments do come in handy for corners, furniture and under the beds and it does a pretty good job at getting all those little dust bunnies up.

The only problem I have had with it is the number of belts I go through with this Featherlite. It seems I am going through a belt a month with it. I don't know that it is the vacuums fault as there......
