I have used this Dirt Devil Breeze Bagless upright vacuum 4 time, and each time I do you have to pull the filter out and clean it with your hands. After sucking up dust, dirt and pet hair the last thing I want to do is touch it. I find that if you don't clean the filter often the machine will not work as well. Besides the dirty hands I found that it did pick up more dust and dirt than my old vacuum. One more thing if you like to use the attachments the hose does not expand and you will have to pull the vacuum right next to the problem area. This vacuum would be good for light duties and small spaces or bare floors. But be prepared to wash your hands!

Dirt Devil Breeze Bagless Upright Vacuum is the best vacuum that i have ever had , i have been married for 25 years and went through quite a few vacuums and this one is the best , it is not expensive and the power of the vacuum is great , i have a small inside dog with alot of hair and it is no problem getting the hair off of the furniture and carpet ,and a plus for the vacuum is you never have to buy a bag , love this vacuum...

The Dirt Devil Breeze Model #0858U7HD Bagless Vacuum has a reasonable price and does a better job than the larger more expensive vacuums. I previously sold Kirby Vacuums and found this Breeze to do a better job of cleaning. It is a rather loud vacuum but in this case the noise is justified by the powerful suction. Emptying the dirt cup is a breeze (pun intended) and cleaning the filter is also easy. I remove the dirt cup from the machine by pushing one button and tipping the cup forward, take the dirt cup outside to the trash can, remove the filter, empty the cup and tap the filter on the side of the trash can to remove the entrapped dirt. Then take it back in and snap the cup back in place. Easy, fast, and clean. The vacuum is not self propelled and if there is a negative that would be it. I bought it during a Christmas sale at a local store for $39.95 and found it to be well worth the price.

I have had this vacuum for a couple years. It started off working well with very good suction. After a year into it, the motor stopped suctioning. I checked to see if there was anything stuck in the motor such as pieces of items or hair. I did find hair so I removed that and thought that my problem would be fixed. But it didn't, the vacuum motor still does not work. The only function I can use on this vacuum now is the hose to suction. Since my warranty was up I could not send it back for repairs. I ended up buying another vacuum but still am very displeased with this product.

The Dirt Devil Breeze Upright is a reasonably effecient and effective vaccum, but it's a lot noisier than I expected. It cleans well, and almost feels self-propelled. It's reasonable price and utility make it a very acceptable vaccum, but it probably would not be a good choice in areas/homes where excessive noise would be an issue. Also the hose extension for cleaning corners is a bit of a pain!

Dirt and Devil bagless vaccuum is a very good and easy to use vaccuum. The filter in the vaccuum is very easy to clean. The long cord handle is very easy to handle while vaccuuming. It will give us good service as Iam using this still 10 months and I don't have a single problem till now. It is very good vaccuum for best price. It is good for carpet and tile flooring also. The long plug wire will make easy to vaccuum even large rooms comfortabily by placing in a single plug point. Good vaccuum for a best price.

I recently bought a Dirt Devil Breeze upright vacuum cleaner. It is lightweight and seems to just glide across my floors. If I had known the benefits of a cyclonic powered vacuum cleaner I would have purchased one a long time ago. The suction power is surprisingly strong and watching the dirt swirl around in the canister can be mesmerizing. The attractive design and color are pleasing to the eye so I'm not embarassed if company happens to see it. I consider myself the ultimate bargain hunter always looking for the best overall performance for the money invested, so the surprisingly low price was definately right for me. I find that for some reason MY household goes through vacuum cleaners at the rate of one new vacuum almost every year. I have 2 teenage children and a cat, so I use my vacuum a lot. So far my Dirt Devil Breeze is holding its own against my family's cleaning needs. I'll be curious to see if it stays that way over the coming months.

I have owned a dirt devil breeze bagless upright vacuum for four years. The first year it was great I didn't have any problems. After that I began having problems with it. The belt continuously broke on it. Also the brush roll had to be replaced very often. The good thing was that i had purchased an extended warrany on it from the store I purchased it from. But I was not satisfied because of the number of times I had to take it in for service. Another thing I don't like is that when you empty the filter dust goes everywhere. So that means that you clean one area first then you end up dusting up another area, hence more cleaning up to do.

I have had my Dirt Devil for about two years, without having one problem. It picks up pet har really well, which is a major plus in my home. We live in the high desert, and have quite a bit of sand. This vacuum picks up that and more. I am quite happy with the price of the bags also. This vacuum is lightweight enough that I can easily take it upstairs and downstairs with little effort. It has been a great tool for cleaning. We even use it with our Flowbee haircutter, and have never had a problem connecting it, or cleaning it. This is a must have for semi-easy cleaning. Look, any vacuuming is a chore, but this is lightweight enough and easy to push around the house, that it seems quite effortless. I'm not too crazy about chores, but they just have to be done. So, why not make it as easy on yourself as possible. The bags are easy to change, which is a plus, and they can be purchased at just about any discount store. I highly recommend this product.

I am reviewing the Dirt Devil Breeze Bagless Upright. I bought this vacuum for use on 3 rooms, I had tile everywhere else and was amazed at the power and what it brought out of my carpets. I recently moved into a home that has carpets just about everywhere and I a still loving my purchase. It is light enough to easy do stairs but powerful enough to almost fill the canister every time I use it. It gets hair, lint, and dirt.

I have found though not to use powder carpet freshner, because it clogs the filter. Emptying the container is quite easy. And I take the filter outside and hit it on the deck a few times and its clean. The filters are expensive though. A new filter will cost over half of the purchase price of the vacuum. It is a little on the loud side to. The cord is a very good length I can plug it in one place and vacuum the entire upper floor of my home.

I recently bought the Dirt Devil Breeze as a replacement for a much heavier model that constantly was breaking belts. The Breeze is much lighter and works just as well if not better. I can carry it up and down stairs in my townhouse with one hand. The rotating brush is very powerful and does a great job picking up cat hair....

best vacuum I ever bought for less than $100.00. I have 2 cats that shed an 11 yr old tracking the outside in, so I have to vacuum everyday and it works great!!!!!!!!!!...

I've only had the dirty devil bagless vacuum for a few months now and it works pretty good at cleaning up big messes. Only thing is when I use it to clean corners or along the walls it does not clean so well. I half to use a broom to help clean out the corners and along the walls to continue vacuuming. Overall I like that there no bags to change and you only half to empty the dust and stuff in the trash which is great with minimal clean that's awesome....

I needed a vacuum that would pick up cat hair - and this one does it. When I ran the sweeper the first time and opened the cannister - I was mortified at how much was in there. Made me look like I hadn't run the sweeper in years....and I get that much every week. Amazing how much it picks up....
