I am a single mother of to kids a two year old and a five month old so i have plenty of experince in this subject. The desitin diaper rash cream works really great I love it. but you would want to watch when using on little girls because it is like glue if you get it on the private opening you know what i mean. but just put on the rash and make sure it dont get inside of that area but any kind of rash cream is like glue to that area so just be careful. it is very eary to apply, it is very affordable, it will heal the area very fast i mean this stuff is really great it is the fastest and best out of all the rash cream i have used it is by far the best. has a really nice smell, and a little bit will be plenty it dont take a real lot just like the size of a pea of even smaller depending on the rash size but usually no more then the size of a pea. i really would suggest this to any parent because this really does work i mean for two years now i have used it on my kids and i will never use any...

My son is only 7 months old but I value keeping him happy at all times that includes keeping his little butt free of diaper rash. I am what you'd call a paronoid mom, I get worried over the smallest thing especially if hes in pain. We all know that diaper rash haqs to be painful on such sensative skin.Well it happened he got diaper rash,so I went to the nearest store to get him diaper ointment,I applied it before we left the parking lot and by the time we got to the red light he was happy and smiling like my sweet little Anthony. It rather inexpensive and works immediately, I bought the original creamy ointment in the blue box. Now every time I worry he's got it again I apply Desitin and it prevents him from getting it and his little skin turns the beautiful shade of pink its ment to be. If your a mom or dad who cares deeply about their little ones bottom as much as you do your own then you will rush to your nearest store and purchase Desitin for your baby or toddler.

Since my first child was born 20 months ago, I have become a huge fan of Desitin Diaper Rash Cream! That stuff works amazingly quick and is absorbed quickly into the baby's skin so that it does not leave a mess. I have been very impressed with how fast that the diaper rash will go away. Desitin is safe to use as many times per day as needed, and I like that fact because if I don't change my son quickly after he has a wet or dirty diaper, then nine times out of ten he will start getting a rash. My sister jokes about Desitin saying that she should buy stock in it because she used it on her little boy until he was three and 1/2 years old! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a baby or small child in diapers. You can find coupons for this product online which makes it much more affordable than what you might even pay for the generic brands. I have tried other competitor's products, but I have not liked any of them as much as Desitin!

Ok, I know that this is going to sound wierd, but Desitin's Diaper Rash Creme is not just for babies anymore. I found this out along time ago when my kids were younger. Since it is so thick, not only is this creme great at relieveing diaper rashes in children but, it is also great at relieving most of the rashes that adults get, depending on where it is at (arms, legs etc.). This product is also wonderful at relieving external yeast infections on both men and women (yes men can get this too!). This product may say that it is for diaper rashes only, but wherever moisture and irritation occur this product can be used to relieve the irritation. Now, eleven years after my youngest child has stopped using diapers, I still buy this product for use on my family members whenever this type of irritation occurs.

Desitin is my first choice for diaper rash creams. it goes on well and is not too sticky like the orignal can be. It has a more pleasant smell and does not irratate my baby. After using it twice i notcied less redness and by the next day the rash was almost gone. i like the easy tube and that it washes off my hands easily. It is a good product and it does what it says it will.

Desitin is the Best diaper rash cream I have used so far. I have tried other diaper rash creams and I like this the best. It is easy to put on and take off baby's butt. It doesn't have a horrible odor either. It has prevented my son from getting diaper rash, he hasn't had a rash yet. A little of the cream goes a long way. I don't have to put a load of cream on his butt either a small amount works very well. The tube of cream last a while, bought it about a month ago and haven't even gone through half of the tube yet. Desitin also comes in large tubes, I bought the 4oz. It is white and has not stained any clothes, on either my son's or mine. It protects his butt after each diaper use, for multiple times. It is a diaper cream I plan on using till I am done with kids in diapers. I have tried both creamy and original and I like both but prefer the creamy. The creamy has a less ingredients then the original. But the creamy works just as good as the original.

We have tried so many of the diaper rash products out there, and we finally came to the conclusion that Desitin is the only one that works for us!
We have used both Desitin Creamy and regular Desitin and they both work great. We use creamy for every day use in prevention of diaper rash. We like to use the regular Desitin when our daughter already has diaper rash and we need the cream to stay on so it will protect and heal her skin. It does a great job!
Whenever she does have diaper rash, we apply the original Desitin at every diaper change...and by the next morning, it is gone!
Desitin is easy to use and it smells good, too. We prefer the Desitin in the tubes because we feel this is the best way to keep the cream sanitary. You just squeeze a small amount out of the tube. There is no mess this way! One tube of Desitin will last a long time, even with every day use. It is reasonably priced and can be found in the baby section of just about every grocery store and "super" store.

Desitin is the only diaper rash cream we use. We have tried others, but they either stink, don't work, or are too expensive. When we asked the kids' doctor, he recommended Desitin. It works great! Just rub a dime-size amount on the reddened or infected area. Wipe the excess off onto the diaper. We use the creamy during the day and the overnight at night (as neeed). We have used it on mild rashes as well as bad rashes. Works well on sweat rashes too. Doesn't sting and the creamy doesn't have a scent. Great value if you buy it at Wal-Mart. We wouldn't use anything else.

When my 6 mo. old daughter had bad diaper rash I tried several creams, I tried Destin 1st becasue I had so much of it given to me, my daughter sreamed and cried the sec. I put it on her! I washed it off immediatly, I am not sure what casuse it to do so but I will not use again.

Desitin Diaper Rash Cream is the best diaper rash cream on the market. I absolutely love it. My daughter has sensitive skin and when she gets diaper rash, it's BAD. I just slather her little behind in Desitin and the diaper rash goes away usually overnight. I've tried several other brands, and will only buy Desitin from now on. I like both the original and the creamy versions, but prefer the creamy because it just seems to stay on my daughter's skin longer. Good scent, too, unlike some of those other brands that smell very medicinal.

I really like the Desitin Creamy diaper rash cream to use any time my little boy gets a rash. I think it goes on easily and you can see that it cover the rash. Usually the rash is gone within a few days if not sooner. I think the price is good and there are usually dollar off coupons in magazines or online.

Desitin is a common name in baby diaper rash ointments, and I have used it some in the past with my first two daughters, but I found that I liked Dr. Smith's diaper ointment better.

My children all have sensitive skin and would break out with certain diapers, diaper wipes, if I washed the clothes in something other than Dreft, if I used a fabric softener, and I later discovered that they also have GERD (reflux) and multiple food sensitivities. I found that frequent diaper changes, sometimes leaving the area open to air after a soothing bath, and keeping the skin dry was helpful but that my kids often needed something more, and a couple of pediatricians recommended Desitin.

Here's what I like about Desitin:

original type tends to stay on the skin once applied (creamy version has less zinc oxide and does not tend to stay on as well but stays on better than some ointments like A&D)
easy to find
tubes travel well in the diaper bag
can heal some skin rashes--this can actually be used in other...

Johnson & Johnson Desitin ointments are wonderful. I have used them for more than 20 years on my kids, my grandkids and those I baby sit for. The rich creamy ointment clears diaper rash quickly, soothes the baby, and is worth it's weight in gold. One of my grandchildren develops diaper rashes very quickly and they are usually severe in a matter of hours. Desitin soothes her achy bottom, helps the rash to heal overnight, and protects her delicate skin from further breakdown.
