I use the Dell Vostro 200 at home. It has enough features, storage and memory

for any application or internet use I want. It is a standard desktop full tower with

keypoard. flatscreen monitor, mouse, and USB ports for any other device I use.

I watch online Sci Fi tv shows and movies through websites on the internet. The

display of the streaming video is for the most part uninterrupted and dependable.

I also check my e-mails several times a day, and use Word documents sent as

e-mail attachments. In more leisure times I play online games on websites over

the internet. I like the group competitions. Players play from all over the world. It

is fascinating me where people are from. For the most part I have always used Dell

desktop computers. They have always served well using applications on them. Other

computers I have used has been Apple at community college and Sony VIAO laptop

a friend let me use for away from home use. Both are good computers for the use

needed at the time.
...

JYMY says "Didn't Care For It At First" about Dell Vostro 200 Desktop Computer

I have to admit I really didn't care for this computer much when I first got it, but then I learned that the main problem was more with the Windows Vista Basic and not the computer. I upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium and things started going a lot smoother with the computer. At first I was on the telephone CONSTANTLY with both Dell and Microsoft and neither could give me much help. I started reading a lot online about the Dell and about Windows Vista Home Premium and that was when I made the decision on my own to upgrade. The computer is fast, but I admit that I clean everything out of it on an almost daily basis which seems to help and keer her running smooth and clean. The computer was relatively easy to hook up and I got an upgrade to a 20 inch flat screen monitor at no charge which really helps with my poor eyesight! All in all, for less than $500 I ended up with a computer that I really like and learn more about as each day passes. The Dell runs smooth and does everything...
...

The Dell Vostro 200 is a WONDERFUL computer, which I just received ten days ago now. I love this computer because it is so relievable for an individual who is trying to learn a great deal about different programs on the computer. My computer has 4GB and 500MB of memory because I want speed and the ability to add different software packages when the time comes now.

I am a college student so being able to add Spanish software and other packages in order to perform while taking college classe is vital in having a computer. I asked for this computer in order to accomplish all of these goals and after using it for this long it has satisfied these needs now.
...

Aggie2000 says "Great deal for a desktop." about Dell Vostro 200 Desktop Computer

I picked up this desktop for $550 with a Dell coupon code including a 22" widescreen monitor. The machine has worked flawlessly thus far. The tower itself has convenient access to USB and headphone/speaker jacks on both front and back. One unusual aspect of the design is the CD/DVD drawer seems to require that you physically push it back in (rather than pressing a button). With a small nudge it retracts itself, so it works just fine... I just thought that a little strange. The price above also included 3GB of RAM and an upgraded Intel Core Duo processor, so I'm very happy with the performance. Starting to wish I had included the media card reader and maybe bluetooth support, but otherwise I've got no regrets....
