I don't think you could get a better value in a laptop. Performs as well as any desktop I have ever owned. A true desktop replacement! Very highly reommended! I have owned many computers and tis outranks computer I paid much much more for. It's portable, user friendly and very reliable. The Windows XP operating system beats Windows Vista operating system by miles and miles. I purchased it as an extra computer to my laptop and I now find myself rarely ever using my Vista desktop computer. A truly amazing computer for the price!

Since I'm not a computer geek and use my Dell Latitude D600 mostly to check email and do searches w/ occasional stops to my favorite websites to shop or visit with friends I can't tell you much. All I know is that it works really well, is quite easy to use and allows me to rest on my sofa as I use it rather than having to sit at a desk in a chair that hurts my back and makes my mouse arm go cold - due to some chronic health issues. A friend who is a computer geek and total techie recommended it when he spotted it on his favorite techie site for a great price! I have yet to explore all its features, but also realize I'd need to get more memory if I want to download anything additional to what's on it already. It didn't come with huge amounts of memory. I've always heard good things about Dell computers & Intel Pentium processors. Now I can also say they are excellent with experience behind my opinion. the creators of dell have done it again the computer i own is the best it is flawless i have no poblems with it. i can go online in a flash and it is easy to use without difficulty. the compact size and light weight of this os very shocking because thinnking its light i me thinking its not fast but the reators at dell have produced a very good product. this is a good gaming and web communicating, and also a good music player all around awsome. i think that dell could somehow get better i dont know how but i have faith in them keep on going!!. when ever i need to search something for personal gain i turn to this computer because its the most reliable in the house. i have no problems with this product and i love the reliability of this many people talk about the reliability of a mac but this is cheaper and better to me and will stand by this computer until i turn blue in the face and i will prove it.

The Dell Latitude D600 is a great laptop. I use it for school all the time and it is really reliable. It's great to take around campus and it is light enough to carry around. The memory is great and the computer can store the many computer games I play along with all the papers i have to write and it still runs at a good speed....

I needed a cheap laptop quickly & effectively. Something I could easily take with me, use the internet wherever & store a nice amount of information.
This little laptop is perfect.
It's far from fancy but just what I needed.
I recommend this product to students, small time business owners & perhaps parents that don't want to buy their teenagers expensive electronics.

I think thats these lap top are nice and work really good. i dont have one but my friend does.She also Really like her lap top. she is happy with the quality of it. not only that, they look nice. i want to get a lap top. so when i do i think i will most definatly get this one. i would just recomend Dell to any one....

This computer is pretty practical for everyday use. But if you have too many programs on here it starts to run really slow...

Sometimes I have problems when I first turn on the laptop, such as when opening up internet explorer it's likely to just freeze up. Even though it's extremely annoying, I have gotten used to it. Over all, this pc runs pretty smoothly with no major issues.

This is the best labtop I have ever used. Ever since I got it, it hasnt left my side. I love it. It has such a nice picture you have to love it. And its a very affordable labtop. What I love best about it is that its really light in weight. The one thing I dont like about the computer is that sometimes it runs kinda slow and it takes too long to upload some of my pictures to it.

I bought my Dell D600 back when I was in highschool. I worked as a computer technician and some guy was complaining of a broken screen. He sold it to me for 50 bucks and it took me about another 50 to fix, and I have to say 4 years later i love it. Being in college with classes 12 hours a day (its a long day) I use this puppy non-stop 24/7. It is absolutley BUILT for multi-tasking. I used to think it looked ugly (lets face it its not the prettiest computer) but it does the job and it does it well. Also dell support is absolutley OUTSTANDING. When i broke the hinge (which was my fault not a defect) i checked to see if the warranty was still intact and it was, Dell came out NEXT business day to fix it. It was amazing. There are so many of these out in the market that if anything does go wrong it is incredibly easy to fix. I am not a light computer user, I use it as soon as i wake up 12 hours a day surfing the web, typing notes, etc. And i watch netflix as i fall asleep, (I take it into the......

My Dell Latitude D600 was a Christmas gift from my parents. I was so surprised that they actually listened to me talking to my sister one night. I am now able to be in my room on my laptop instead of being in the family room on the computer. It's really great to have a laptop and some privacy away from the family. They told me that I would have to purchase my own wireless card, but that's cool. Now I am able to get my reports done withoiggeut tying up the main computer in the house. The Dell Latitude 600 is nice. It is small enough to fit in my bookbag and lightweight. I like how it is compact and everything is right there to the touch.
