Thaddeust says "LOve IT!!!" about Dell E172FP 17" LCD Monitor

I love the monitor. It provides me with alot of extra space on my desk... The resolution is beautiful. The monitor is well worth the money it was paid for but at times it does show images to be a little bit wider than what it actually is. But, that's nothing a resolution screen change can't fix in your control panel.... Overall it's a GReat Monitor!...

TheBard says "The E172FP should be on your short list of affordable monitors" about Dell E172FP 17" LCD Monitor

The Dell E172FP 17" LCD Monitor is a simple enough display to set up and use. The monitor and base are one and does not swivel, or move up and down, but it does tilt. Some might find this limited flexibility annoying and limiting, but it is fine for what I use it for. And sine the monitor sits on top of a monitor stand the lack of up and down motion is not a concern.

The black 172FP 17" LCD Monitor is completely plug-n-play; the included software is all but useless under Windows XP, though users of older Operating Systems may find it useful.

The quality of the display is about a good as it gets in the business environment. The edge-to-edge screen displays text and graphic is sharp, bright, crisp detail with no hint of flutter, or dropped pixels. But of course a lot depends on the video card you choose to mate the 172FP 17" LCD Monitor with. Like other Dell flat panel monitors I have used, the display of the 172FP 17" LCD Monitor is bright, but not harsh; after a day of working...
...
