Granted my computer is a few years old but it's still working like new. I would get another Dell when it's time to buy a new computer. This is my first Dell and I can see why they are one of the top brands out there. It's built to last. The OP system is wonderful. Easy to use and I dont have to have a degree is computer sience to understand it. My childern even enjoy using this computer. I even go to school online and with this computer I can find all my files so easily. I don't have to go through everything to find just one thing. The sound and video on this computer is great. Very crisp colors and sound. Also with Vista the gadgets I can add to my desktop are great. I can have a notepad, weather, and a clock that I can just easily look at. There are many other gadgets you can download to th desktop like stock reports,games, and news. There is something for everyone on this computer. The flat screen is wonderful due to the fact that it doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk. This was......

I have had a Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer for about 3 years now and i love it. I have never had a technical problem and i have never had problems will Dell either. I bought for use as a gaming computer and upgraded the sound card and video card and now i have a reliable and cheap gaming computer. Around $450 which is cheap considering that gaming computers run anywhere from $500-$1500 so I think I got a pretty good deal. I regularly play games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Americas Army 3, Batlle Field 2, Batlle Field 1945, Swat 4, and other army games. All of the games are high end and cost anywhere from $40 for the Batlle Fields games to $60 for the flight simulator. But my point is that if you want a good overall computer with good gaming cababilitys I would recomened the Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer. When you buy the Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer brand new you recieve:

1 Tower

1 Flat Screen Monitor

1 Mouse

1 Keyboard

1 Set of Creative Speakers (optional)...

I like the computer over all just a few quirks that I would change. Customer service is slow in getting in contact with them. However, the things that havent been up to snuff havent been major items as of yet. I can pretty well surf and it does have the speed to go faster then my other Dell. So overall I'm happy with it

I am reviewing my dell dimension E521 desktop computer. It is a great computer and it was a really wonderful price. It cost under seven hundred dollars. I think my daughter will be able to use this computer very easily once she gets to be a little older. I have always loved Dell computers and that is why I bought this one aside from the price. I love the ability to give everyone in the house their own user log in. The windows vista program is easier to use than I thought it would be. It is very easy to download all of our pictures and to share them by emailing them or sending them to walmart or somewhere else to print them out. It plays videos very well and I can organize both the videos and pictures any way I want to. The computer also works very well with the HP scanner/Printer that I got at the same time. I have always gotten pc computers and I feel very comfortable using them. I would definitely buy this type of computer again.

I bought this Dell computer two years ago and paid 600.00 for it. I have had no trouble at all out of it (at least nothing that a disc defragment or clean up couldn't fix). I take tons of pictures and have loaded up tp 1600 pics on here and its still kicking, slowed it down a tad but not too much. I have a flat screen moniter that is great and doesn't take up much space at all. The tower is bulky and a tad noisy but well worth the investment. I am on the interenet all the time and use lots of photo editing software thats easy to use on this computer. The speakers have a good sound, not much bass but good enough for computer sound. I have a reliable DSL service as well. Overall I'd say this is a great value for a home computer, reliable as the name Dell....

Dell usually have cheap stuff. But be careful. The parts in their computers are always not the best. It will work OK just after the warrenty expire, like a year or so. Never expect to get good stuff from dell when you pay less.

I purchased the Dell Dimension E521 Desktop Computer when my old eMachine gave out in April 2007. I got all the standard customizations that didn't increase the price, which included a 1280x1024 monitor, for $543 including tax and shipping.

I've had this computer for a year and 4 months now and am still very happy with it. It hasn't slowed down yet as many computers do over time with use, but I am also very careful about limiting downloads and installation of software (only programs I am sure I need). It came with some trial software, which I have uninstalled.

I'm on this computer almost 24/7: business email, administrative tasks, word processing, accounting, building ecommerce sites, web design, graphics, blogging, etc. All in all, it's a great computer for home and/or business use....

I got my Dell Dimension desktop through their website, with help from a rep on the phone. I was able to get the operating system I wanted easily (HP wanted to charge $200 or so more to get an older OS), and the basic software I wanted. The price was bearable, considering I bought MS Office 2007 bundled in. I would buy another computer that way again. They do make available a way of disposing of the old machinery, too....

This DELL Dimension E521 Desktop Computer is something you want to stay away from. In fact, all DELL Desktop Computers are something to be weary of. My experience is with faulty products from DVD drives, to floppy drive, to monitor, and their support is the worst. I know more than their Bombay, India, Tech can tell me about. Besides if you think you can upgrade the RAM with a stick from anywhere else that could cost you less is in error. DELL makes the RAM ports with two knotches in the plastic that prevents any other stick from fitting or incapable of being used. The sales personnel is no better. They will pressure you to buying something even if you are just shopping to compare prices. They tried billing me an additional Three thousand dollard $3,000.00 for something they said they had shipped to my house. Well -- Fooled Them -- I don't even live there and the house is totally empty. So that is a total farce. You better believe they took that price off of my account. I have nothing further...

I bought a Dell for my church secretary's office. Tried to do it online but had a problem with the price quoted the church and the actual price, so I called. I was told that the higher price was the only one offered so I placed the order. We discussed the fact that a church is tax-free and I sent over a copy of our tax resale sheet.

The computer arrived and the invoice had added tax. I called and said that this was a tax-free purchase and that I had sent over the paperwork. Customer service could not understand the tax-free concept and said she would see that I got the correct paperwork faxed to me. I paid the entire invoice except for the tax.

Some days passes and the church received an invoice for the tax and interest on the tax. I called again to straighten out the tax situation and was told that they did not have the correct paperwork - they would fax over the correct papers for me to fill out. They sent the same paper that I had already furnished them twice.

This goes on for weeks....

Most cases I can take care of issues on my own but the Dell has such unusual problems, I am constantly on the phone with tech support. No wonder they can claim to have the best tech support of any other computers... because Dell owners are forced to USE tech support more often than any other computers....
