I had mine for a year, and then it crashed........Dell did replace it with an upgraded computer the E520 , and also upgraded the software, so they are pretty good as far as standing by their product... but someone else I know also has a refurbished one, ( maybe it was mine) and his is always breaking down.

I Like the Dell E510 Desktop Computer with its ease of use. The computer boots up quickly and runs quietly.

I love the monitor which I received with it. The flat screen ROCKS!! It has great color and is easy to adjust the color, brightness and contrast.

The Cd/Dvd writer is a great accessory to have I can copy and backup all my photographs and data easily and safely.

One problem I have had is with the Explorer program occationaly freezing and having to manually shut down the computer. I wish Dell could find a fix for this issue.

Excellent desktop computer at an unbelievable price! I purchased this computer last month and was surprised with all the features and software included for the price. I am extremely pleased and now hooked on Dell....

Hello, People;

This PC is a modest version of something cheap. The power is enough to squeeze is just enough to start the PC up and open the email with the Internet explorer. The problems with today's programs are far beyond out fixing abilities. More programs are made to suck the powers out of the computers leaving us little room to do our work. In this E510 version, highest RAM is 4 GB which is very good. From what I have seen on the picture, there are two hard drives in the tower. Therefore, it would make it easier to transfer the files from one HD to the next. Two CDs or two DVDs drives or a combination of both gives it great flexibility to work with large or small files. Large RAM also allows multitasking. One thing laft to say about is size of the Hard Drive and its speed. The larger the faster it should be for the computer to work fast. Make sure you get that one, 72000 RPM.

This is a great computer overall. We've only had problems with the speed but that could be our internet svc. provider. Our son uses it for school and listens to music and I download music and use basics such as calendar and mail....

A very good overall computer. Having a TV tuner in the computer is pretty cool, you can watch TV on the computer and media center lets you schedule and record shows, just like having a DVR but without any monthly fees. The only real problem I had was a memory board went bad after about 18 months of use, Dell replaced it free under the warranty. still going strong after almost 2 years....

I got this Dimension Desktop for work and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The quality of the product and its performance are great. I work in computer-aided design for an engineering firm, so I use all of the power of the PC. It performs great and can handle many applications at one time. This is deffinatley a good cheap computer. As long as you have the skills to maintain it and keep it functioning well I think it was overall a great buy. I recoomend customizing it according to your need. It comes with many regular features which are well worth the price....

I purchased this computer in August 2007, and it has been absolutely wonderful. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that it came with Vista, and contemplated downgrading to XP, but kept it. I've had no issues, and had fantastic performance. It does take some maintenance to keep it running top notch and virus free, but any computer does. I think a lot of people don't take proper care of their equipment and then blame the manufacturer. I also have a Dell laptop, that's still running strong after nearly 5 years. For me Dell is the only way to go....

I think for the price of this computer out there it is one of the best on the market. I had a newer apple and I thought that was nice until I used on of these @ a friends house. I went out & replaced my apple within a week with this system. It's easy to use & customer service with Dell so far has been exemplary....

Dell has been very good to me! As an Older person I really appreciate the patience they have when I call with a problem They get me back on line fast! I have needed them quite a few times and they were good about walking me through the steps. I would buy a Dell again. This is my second one so far....

I was really excited to buy a new computer to start college just after my high school graduation. I looked around and found that dell was the cheapest and seemed to have the same perks as all the others. I purchased it and was very pleased with the performance for about 6 months. I might have bought it cheap but I expected it to last a little longer, I don't know what I was thinking. I sold it to a computer place for 1/4 what I paid and I still owed what I got out of it. No way I will ever buy another Dell....
