I've attended DePaul University since the early 90's. Everytime I thought I was finished they came out with another degree. My thought was why get certified it only last a year, two, etc. When you can get a diploma instead. Transfering credits from departments within the school was no problem. Everyone was courtious and at times thought I was a bit nuts . The way I see it, though I spent a few thousand more. I will have a diploma that will last a lifetime. As opposed to a certificate or something that will expire.

Benefits:

You have the option of taking a course online or on campus. It doesn't matter if you do one or the other. You can even do both during the same semester.
The online program is fantastic. The classes are recorded and you can play them back on line and few all the notes the teacher wrote on the board.
Independent school. There is no hand holding but at the time you enter college do you really need it.
Everything is online get it when you need it....

As an adult student I received a lot of support from the University. There School of New Learning program makes it possible for adult learners to go back to college and complete a degree while still maintaining work and family....

DePaul University College of Law is now a First Tier law school! Joining the Big East Conference several years ago gives it the ability to compete athletically and academically with the Big Ten and Ivy League schools. DePaul is a place of great scholarship and learning. Chicago is a wonderful laboratory and Lincoln Park is tops! DePaul is becomming one of the hottest colleges in the nation....

DePaul University is an excellent school, set in one of the most enjoyable campuses. I attended DePaul and loved the experience. Going to school in the middle of nowhere did not appeal to me and DU was the perfect fit. The alumni connections across Chicago are vast and the internship program connects you with great opportunities....

Although it is a little expensive (its a private catholic university), it is a wonderful school that offers an excellent education. Although there are some frustrations caused by administration, classes are excellent and the teachers are very good. It also is located in a really good area of Chicago, surrounded by a lot of fun places to go. Its right next to the el, so transportation anywhere is easy....

I can still remember the day I received my letter of acceptance for DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL. It was a slightly overcast late day in spring 2001. It was threatening to rain, teasing the budding thirsty flowers in my backyard with a cool nourishing drink. My hands trembled slightly as I held the envelop that one that would (possibly) determine the course of my life.

I turned the envelop over and over in my hands, putting it down and then picking it up, trying to decided whether or not to open it. Finally, with letter opener in hand I ripped open the announcement to learn that I made it in; I was going to the Law Schhol! But why DePaul one might ask.

My Choice

When it came to choosing a law school I really didn't have many choices. Its not that my LSAT scores were less then...
