I have used this dish soap for many years now. It not only gets the dishes clean, it also is extremely gentle on the skin. My mother has had a very painful skin condition for 20 years now and she doesn't use any other dish soap. There are so many choices out there and I'm sure that you can find something that is cheaper that gets the dishes clean but if you want something gentle on your hands, this is well worth the little bit extra you might have to pay. It does seem to change color with time though! My mom doesn't use it a lot as she has a dishwasher and it darkens but seems to do the same thing no matter what color it may be. I want something reliable and also trustworthy touching my skin as well as my mothers and dawn dish soap gives me peace of mind. It is well worth the price!

My brother was staying with me for a while, so I used to get stuck doing his laundry, or it would pile up in my laundry room. His normal clothes were fine, but one day he asked me if I would do his work uniforms so I said sure. He is a mechanic, so imagine the filth and grime caked in them. I really didn't want to put them in my washer or dryer so I took them to a laundrymat. They did not even come clean after the first wash with tide. I tried using spray-n-wash, which did nothing. Then the next week I tried shout and that did nothing. Then I tried using the famous oxy clean which was recommended to me by a friend. It did better than the others but still not very good. They were stiff and still stained. After doindg dishes one night I happened to catch the words-cuts through grease on the bottle of dawn as I was putting it away and thought to try it on his uniforms the next time. I tried it and after only one washing they were 90% stain free and were no longer stiff. My brother was shocked....

I believe Dawn dish soap is the best dish soap out there. I have been using it for 20+ years and don't like any other brand. As a child my hands would break out when I did dishes but since finding Dawn I have had no more troubles with this.

I like the way Dawn cuts through the grease, even on really greasy pans from things like meatloaf. If their is a really greasy pan with stubborn burned on food I just squirt some Dawn directly on my sponge and the mess comes right off. I feel my dishes really get clean with this soap.

I have also used Dawn to squirt on stubborn greasy laundry stains. I just squirt directly on the stain and rub in. This has even helped me get out stains from my husbands mechanic uniforms, things like axel grease.

Dawn is also helpful to get rid of fleas on dogs. Just was your dog using Dawn dish soap and comb out the fleas. My mother in law didn't want to use pesticide on her tiny yorkie so she tried this and it worked great.

I love dawn dish washing detergent. I have used it for many many things. It is not only good for greasy dishes, it is a great cleaning tool. One great thing is that I have found that usually a dab will do you. Course that is for dishes that are not majorly greasy. Even if they do have a lot of grease, just a squirt or two and it starts disolving that old grease right away. I have used it on greasy spots on clothing, with a brush, and it cleans it right up.

One other thing I have learned about dawn, but a person has to be very careful is it will dissolve the ear grease that dogs get. Just mix a tiny bit in some warm water, take a q-tip, dip it in the water mixture, and gently rub inside the dog's ear, you will get all that dirt and so on out of it's ears. If you need to wash your dog's fur, just a drop will clean your dog's coat right up as well, leaving it fresh and clean looking, and smelling.

I first bought this because it was on sale and I had a coupon for it. I was able to get a couple of bottles for less than $0.50. For the price alone, I was very happy. I use it on my dishes and it works well. But then I read that you can use dawn dish soap in clothes to help clean them. After my daughter got chocolate on herself, I decided to try it. Much to my delight, it worked very well. Now I use this all the time for my clothing. In fact I think that I use it on my clothing more than I do on my dishes. We also used this when our cat had fleas. It worked well to put the fleas in the water with dawn dish soap and not have to worry about them jumping out. It is surprising to me how many uses this product has. There are always coupons out there for this and I pair it with sales, so the price is always great for me. Anyone who is looking for a way to get their clothes clean, or even clean their dishes, it is one product that I would recommend to anyone.

This product lathers up the best and has the best grease fighting properties of any other brand. You don't have to use as much either. It works at getting the grease of dishes, laundry, and even pets. Pets that are more prone to being greasy such as yorkies and scotties can be bathed using this first and then their regular shampoo and makes for a much cleaner wash. Also, for cats and dogs that are too young to use the once a month product or if you have a flea infestation, if you bath your pets in this and let it sit for a couple of minutes, and then bath them in their shampoo, the natural oils in the dawn smother the fleas so they can't breath and it kills the fleas on them.

Have you ever tried Dawn dish soap to wash your windows? Just make a sink full and start washing with a clean cloth & then dry with another clean cloth. It is amazing how great it works! It's the only thing that I will use on mine - also, one less item to buy:) My friend recently shared this idea with me and boy, am I glad she did. I just moved into a home that needed some serious cleaning - the other product I used (which is meant for windows) left the windows cloudy and looking seriously bad in the sunlight. I was amazed at how much faster I got done and how great the windows look. Just be sure to not use to much Dawn and you might have to go over the window twice with a clean, dry cloth. But, that's easy! Dawn is proud that they help remove the oil from wildlife that have been covered in oil slicks! They can advertise it as a window cleaner also. Dawn dish soap really is a multi-purpose product!

I've been using Dawn Dish soap for many years and will continue to buy it. However, I think in the last few years I've had to use more of it to get the same results. There are some things that don't need to much improvement....

I would never try another dish washing liquid again. Other brands that I've tried never took that greasy feeling away from my plastics like Dawn does. I also use it for cleaning the grease on stove, floor splatterings and it works well with filter over the stove.

Dawn dishsoap is a useful and versitile product. Not only does it clean dishes very well (with only a little bit of product used), but it has many uses around the house as well. I use it on my work clothes to remove fryer grease. The shirt has been saved!

Dawn dish soap is just fantastic. A little goes a long way. Cut grease quickly. Make washing dishes less of a choir. I even use it in my laundry to get out greasy stains, I just add a little on the stain and it's gone. And it is reasonably priced. I love this product.
